First book about Africa written by an African. Has anyone heard of it? read it? Liked/disliked it? Have any comments about it?

There are two simili jokes in the poll.

The first is aimed at people who are studying science. IUPAC= International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry. I was just using the letters in a different fashion.

The second is merely the presence of the PI in the Pirates part. I leave this one to wiki to explain...
