Lin pulled up to the house and parked outside the garage, he turned the car off and lent over and kissed his mates cheek "well my love, I guess we can go in. This, technically, will be your first time here wont it? After we have spent time alone by ourselves I will give you the grand tour, you dont mind sleeping on the third floor do you? I can always change our bedroom to the first or second floor if you wish?" He asked as he climbed out, took his keys and ran around to the other side.
He opened the door to the passanger side and held out a hand to his mate. "I will make us something later if you want" he said as he smiled at his mate, pleased to finally be able to sleep with him in their own bed.

He laughed softly, and eyed one of his vibrantly colored wings, "Ne, Lin, I'm not precisely afraid of heights, Love..." Being a creature capable of flight, that would have been quite serious indeed. "But I can't wait for you to show me around." His eyes were wide and bright, looking at the big house with awe and wonder. Never had he inhabited such a place as this was.
Fingers reaching out and taking a hold of the offered hand, Xo stepped out of the car, smiling beautifically in sheer happiness.

Lin softly chuckled "I know my love, I just wasnt sure if you would mind walking up all those flights of stairs or not thats all" he said to his mate, blushing a bit as that now sounded some what odd. He shook his head and wished he had just kept his mouth shut "anyway, lets get you inside and warmed up, I will light a fire in our room so we can keep warm a little more."
He said to his mate, holding onto his hand tight and moving him and his mate out of the way of the car door as he shut it and started towards the house.

He grinned and pushed closer, wrapping an arm about the other's waist. "Mmm...sounds absolutely wonderful..." Of course, doing anything with Lin was wonderful to the angel, but this...yes...it was different...ever so much different. Walking with him, shimmering bright eyes watched the fox/mer with a new sort of fascination...it was...like watching the lines of the other's body, the way his hair brushed his skin as he moved, little things he'd never noticed before, and Xo wasn't sure why.

Lin got to the door, stuck the key in and unlocked it, turning on the light once he was inside and quickly pushed the button of his car alarm to turn it on. Once he was sure the car was securely locked he gestured the other inside "welcome home sweetheart" he said as he happily as he let his angel go in first.
The inside of the house was just like the outside, it was old but kept in great condition, everything in it, besides the 'modern' things that had been put in, was from the late 1700's to mid 1800's. So the lights, the fixtrues, the fireplaces, the rooms and everything else had all been kept to how they were way back when.
"this house is practically kept to how it was back when it first was around in the late 1700's to mid 1800's, so we do own a rather antique house" he said to his mate happily. "But I guess that was just one of the things I love about it" he said as he softly sighed, pleased to finally be able to live here with his mate.
((I will make one more posts and then I will have to leave it, I think I will go to bed as I just am not feeling well. I am getting over a cold so I need rest but we can carry on tommorow if you wish?))

Xo was almost childish in his joy. Gazing about him in wonder. This was theirs...just theirs...for -them-. With an utterly delighted burst of laughter he came running right back to Lin and kissed him soundly, "It's wonderful, Lin...I'm so happy..." It was amazing, breathtaking and... "Oh, Lin..." The angel nuzzled at the other's jawline, placing soft kisses there.

Lin murred happily as he kissed his angel back, holding onto him tightly "I am glad you like it" he said to his mate as he murred softly once more at the angels kisses. "You and I have our own home, one we can happily raise a family in when we wish to have children, maybe even a pet if you want, and there is a swimming pool and spa also that I will show you later." He said as he just held his mate close, thankful to finally be able to call this place a home, sure he could before but without his mate it just didnt feel like it.
Lin was thankful now that he could finally settle down properly with his mate, start sorting things out with what they wanted to do with their lives when and if need be. They could finally have a place they could live the remainder of their lives here, raising a family, looking after a pet or two (if Xo wished) and just finally being able to call it home for them and their family whenever they wished to begin it.

"Oh yes..." The idea was nearly rapturous, a delighted sigh tickling Lin's ear as the angel was now fairly close to it. He'd never thought about children, hell, never thought about family or love or sex or any of those things that went in one tumultuous package before Lin came along, but now that he was here Xo embraced them with enthusiasm.
"I'm not sure I know how to thank you for this..." Xo nibbled playfully at Lin's ear, "It's amazing..."

Lin murred hppily as he held his mate tight "well I know one way" he said playfully as he stroaked his mates hair. "Care to go up to our room? Let me light a fire and we can climb into bed?" He asked his mate, shutting the front door and locking it. "We can carry on thinking about our life together after we have spent some time alone together" he said as he kissed his mates nose.
