Island 7 is home to the largest airfield in the Seafoam Archipelago, reserved specifically for military use unless it's an absolute emergency, at Giltella Air Base. Giltella Air Base is the logistical command center of the entire RSAF, much as Fort Michtam is to the Army, including headquarters for all three of the combat air wings, the half dozen support squadrons, and the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC).

Clad in his digitized-pattern forest BDUs, Chris sat at his desk, idly thumbing through maintenance reports and the like. Reports from Sam's research division didn't indicate much going on in regards to Project K, which was to be expected with a project of that magnitude. Frankly, he wasn't expecting any results before next Christmas.
"Things always slow down this time of year. Works out for the better, though. Makes the Christmas rush easier to deal with."
Leaning back in his chair, he spun it around to face the picture window and looked out over the flightlines, where many crew and personnel were still wearing summer dress. It was bloody near winter time and it was still as hot as summer. Unacceptable.
"I don't understand why you have to insist on it being cold. You're the first one to admit that you utterly despise cold weather."
He shrugged. "It just doesn't feel right if the weather doesn't reflect the season."

BAM!
No sooner had Marcus opened the door then a large, heavy dictionary had slammed into his face, courtesy of a hard fling from the Earth Master, seated behind his desk with his booted feet up on it, reading from a Star Wars Insider magazine.
"Good to meet you, Lieutenant. Welcome to Seafoam." This spoken as if he hadn't just thrown a dictionary into the poor b*****d's face.

Not in the least bit bothered by the burned magazine, the good general merely swept the ashes into a trash can, reached into a desk drawer, and produced a can of Sunkist.
"He's so dead."

Ganale in Story-Teller Mode A flaming droid happened to walk by Marcus at that exact time. Hey, it was on two legs, and considering it was on fire, its temperature would be relatively high. rofl

arrow Sky above Island seven
The man in the old 1700's clothing, merely crosses his arms as he appears in a burst of electricity far above the airfield. The sky above him began to grow just slightly dark. It would take a while for him to produce a full blown thunderstorm. Still, wherever there were electrical impulses, he'd have a say in the matter. Thunder would be heard far off where the border of the ocean hit the sky. The prayer beads across his chest simply took on a faint glow, and he smiles around his pipe..

arrow Sky's the limit
He waits. The sky rumbles again softly, and the man gazes down at the air force base with a mild derision on his face. Sighing, he calls electricity around his arm, which condenses into a sphere around his hand..and raising his hand, and making a fist..sans one finger, which is stuck in the air..he sends four bolts down in rapid succession from his fingerip, to strike the ground below. He scores a tree, the ground, part of a runway, and a plane, which lights up with a beautiful explosion. He smiles. He's still got it.
