let's see. i'm gabrielle, a.k.a. rebel girl. you can probably figure out where i got my username without me spoonfeeding you the "i'm not a teenage rebel; it's a song" thing. straightish, 5'4", brown hair, green eyes, fairly skinny.
i'm not in a band. i wish i were, but my parents haven't warmed up to the idea of getting me drum lessons. i haven't tried the whole it'll-look-good-on-a-college-application ploy yet, though. they'll do almost anything for college.

Rebel Girl they'll do almost anything for college. Gee, that doesn't sound like EVERYONE in my school. College whores. stare Gaia Name: Ubia Nickname/Real Name: Rackle/Rachel Sex: Female Orientation: Straight Description: Similar to my avatar, except I have green eyes. (The computer I used while making it had a really small monitor, so I had a hard time seeing the eye colors... redface ) Well, I used to be in a band; it was how I found out about this whole movement. We covered Sleater-Kinney's "Words and Guitar", Heaven to Betsy's "(Here we go) Axemen" (I'm not sure of the title.) We learned S-K's "Combat Rock" and Le Tigre's "Metrocard" but never played them at a gig. (All two of the ones we had while I was in the band, anyway.) The band broke up this year when both of our good guitarists went to college. The drummer broke it up so he could play in a blues/hip-hop band. (Yes. I know EXACTLY what you're thinking. rolleyes ) Well, I'm not bitter (anymore.) I play guitar but not very well. I plan to buy a bass kit this summer; hopefully I'll have more like with that. But I don't really define myself as a rocker. I'm nerdy and I like school. I'm kind of a theater geek (I also do Stage Crew) and like comics and anime. I'm also into archaeology. I guess I should just stamp "Geek" on my forehead. 3nodding Well, it's a pleasure to meet you all!

Ubia I'm kind of a theater geek (I also do Stage Crew) Yay theater geeks! I sort of minored in drama in college--I did a lot of lighting work and went to the American College Theater Festival finals in DC (as a dresser, oddly enough).
