Think about it..it might NOT be her..someone else could have something to do with volcanos at birth....and are trying to frame her..I mean..why make a clue so ovbious?
for example..after birth I was flown over to Italy, Mt. Etna and spent a few days after my birth there

How many people are around from when Peles was first in the game, and then how many of them know where her name really comes from. A few more people probably fit that clue but she's just the first one that comes to mind. neutral
