Here's a fun idea. A Shinigami Soundtrack album (or albums).
I challenge all members to find a few songs that relate to their character or the clan in general, or even scenes or other clan members. Then we can put them together to make the official soundtrack. If you find a lot that suit your character you can have the Official [character] Soundtrack too.

so here we go, post in this thread with songs and lyrics and if necessary explainations and we'll see what we get.

And opinions - would everyone prefer to do individual character soundtracks and then just pick their favourites to go into an official Shinigami one, or should the Shinigami one be a collection songs that fit specific scenes in the history of the clan rather than characters?

Like the song btw. I haven't heard Killing All the Monkeys though, I shall have to look it up.

That is a fun song, I should collect together various songs the clan nominates for a Shinigami Clan Soundtrack while we can work individually on our own character based ones. The clan one should be a joint effort after all. And it doesn't have to be entirely serious all the time either, after all - we're not xd

So, I thought it might be helpful to have a sort of list of themes to consider. Not everyone might be able to use every theme for their character, due to certain things happening or not happening in their pasts and I am sure people will come up with their own themes to add. These will be more of a guide. I think most of us have experienced/do experience most of these events. I am trying to incorparate as much as possible.

So, for each theme you should post the title and artist, a selection of fitting lyrics from the song and a brief description of why the song fits. You can do the description as a brief summary or as a very short roleplay.

Character Themes


Feel free to add some or not use some, or just come up with your own entirely. Themes can be repeated, for example the one about powers, some of the members have many powers and may want to consider music for several of them. I would also like each of you to think up a theme or two for the main Clan soundtrack. It can summarize anything about the Clan, something that has happened to us, something that reminds you of us, something that sums up your feelings about us, perhaps even how the enemy see us.
