Snuggle Pouff

Kevin Harvick and Jeff Burton got caught using a performance advantage in post race inspection. It is a grey area so Nascar said don't do it again. They caught the rim around the tire I believe they said three hundreth of an inch, which helps to get the right pressure. On Wind Tunnel they said it could hurt their chances in the chase a lot.

This was breaking news on Wind Tunnel reported by Bob Dilligner. I checked Nascar.com but there was no article yet.

Also they picked Kasey Kahne to win championship.

What do you think about all this?

Update: Jayski
Finally article, but apparently it wasn't true. One reporter made it up and another jumped the gun and said it on speed channel.

I read about it on foxsports.com. Here's the link:
Harvick, Burton, had advantage

In my opinion, I don't think its a big deal since it wasn't in the rule book. It still though is considered "cheating"

It sounds to me like it's one of those deals that was creatively used to push the limits without breaking any actual rule.

Like Jeff Burton in the 2002 Winston pitting on the final lap, or Jimmie Johnson's shocks in Dover last year. Expect that loophole to be closed like my two examples.

I can't believe it! That is shear genious! They compensated for using a bleeder valve by letting the rim do the bleeding! Even though I don't really approve of that I'm quite impressed with the face that they came up with such a devine plan.

It's all about technology. There engineers and specialists paid just to come up with things like this. I'd be shocked if they didn't have some little advantage.

I don't think jeff burton knew about that if they even did do that...he was angry about speed accusing them of cheating...burton says that a rival team may have told them false information about the team cheating since they are on such a role....I believe burton
