AHHHA I can't equip my fishing rod

my basic fissing rod wont equip to me so i can fish what gives?

No need to equip it to your avi to fish. Just go open one of the fishing hole locations (Bassken lake is easiest if you haven't fished before) and as long as you have your fishing rod in your inventory, it will let you fish! Oh make sure to have F bait too.

i did that and i got a measage saying i don't have a rod and i have 2

That's odd. I'm not sure then? Maybe it's a glitch? Are you sure you haven't stored the rod away in your suitcase or your storage area?

wheni got on again and this time i was able to fish then when i had filled my bucket it said that i didn't have any bait left and i know i had 5 left.
