-It wasn't suprising that the little ivory cub was awake this late at night. Nine times out of ten she was it seemed, some ironic joke of nature, pulling the little star to be out when the rest of them were. Making her awfully sleepy when everyone else was awake. But it never seemed to damper her spirits, trying best to be part of family events.
She'd been quiet so far this evening.. but as time passed and more and more of her family drifted to sleep she was beginning to feel lonely. Lonely enough to be a little naughty it seemed. Creeping silently upon her brother, she extended a paw, little paw tips brushing and bating at the tuft of fur at the edge of his tail.-

Night time was meant for sleeping. It was how things seemed to be, and Ai'kunliu never questioned it, going to sleep when he was tired, and waking up when he was no longer such.
Or when he was under assault. Whichever came first.
He'd been snoozing peacefully for what seemed to be only a short time, before something brushed over his tail. It was nothing, however, as the cub remained sleeping, rolling over onto his other side and burying his face into his paws peacefully, happily in dream land....
Until it came again.
Again, Ai ignored it, attempting to remain sleeping. But when it seemed as though the disturbance wasn't going to come to a stop, the dark-colored cub let out a whine and pushed himself up slightly, complaining the whole way, before nothing the white-and-gold figure that was 'attacking' his tail and, for a moment, thought it was his brother, Jing, before realizing, indeed, that this was a sister unit.
With another complaint, Ai flopped back onto his side helplessly.
"Too late...sleepy..." he whined, pawing back at Xu.

-She'd wondered how long she could go on without being noticed. And soon enough her question was answered with the soft whimper of compliant from her darkly hued brother.
An apologetic smile touched her, even though it didn't belong, as she crept up closer to his side pawing at his belly now that he was this awake. If she had woken him, he might as well play after all!-
"It's not THAT late" -She whispered cheerfully, playful trying to avoid his paws, not quite taking the hint.-

Another squeak was produced from the boy as his tail was freed from attack, which was turned on his poor little defenseless squishy belly when it was exposed, causing Ai to attempt to sheild it with one paw, while batting at his sister with the other.
Rolling onto his stomach, the cub pouted and stuck his tongue out immaturely at her, sprawling his limbs out, before pushing himself up to his paws. A tiny yawn escaped from his lungs, which, for Ai, was enough incentive for him to flop back down and try to sleep again. Which he did.
"It's plenty late..." he retorted, rolling onto his back and looking over at the others in the den, checking to see their status of 'awake', then back onto his side again. "Even mommy and daddy are sleeping, see?" he pointed out.

-She couldn't help but giggle a little. Ai was funny! Batting and getting up and falling down and rolling this way and that. Her grin grew and she imitated him, lifting herself, dropping her little body nearer to his, before rolling onto her own back. Sticking her little paws in the air she wiggled them lightly as if she were walking on the den walls, before she rolled over beside him, reaching to nibble and pull gently at a black ear.- "I'm awake! And the stars too."

Pouting, he watched as he was mocked via imitation by his sister, folding his little paws across his chest and attempted to mimic an air of 'authority' about him, but failing horribly. Afterall, it's hard to be authoritive, when the 'victim' of such, is trying to eat your ear.
Ai turned his head away as Xu started to attack his ear, aiming to free it from it's torture, but instead was making it, in general, worse. Note to Subconcious;
Do not try that next time. Doesn't work.
"Yeah, but your always awake." Ai pointed out, growling playfully and throwing himself onto her in a semi-pounce, while trying to not put his poor little head-appendage into anymore pain.
"Rawr!"

-She continued to nibble and tug, taking his attempt to escape as a playful one as opposed to the actual attempt it was. Her ivory and gold tail swaying happily back and forth.
But when he pounced the poor ear was finally freed, small giggle slipping from her as she tried to paw him off of her. It wasn't much of a fight but Xu didn't seem to mind really as her tiny little body wriggled beneath her brother playfully.- "I think you guys just sleep too much!"

Ai laughed as Xu attempted to 'escape' from his brotherly wrath, shifting his weight as he was pawed at, before scrambling over her and plopping into a pseudo-pouncing position, his butt wiggling in the air.
"Nuh uh! You just don't sleep enough!" he challenged, pouncing at her, missing horribly, then simply tagging her lightly on the side. A grinning, he then ran past her. "You're it!" he teased, bounding out into the space in front of the den. It wouldn't hurt if they were still in sight-range to be outside the den playing.. would it?
Mmm. Nah.

"Maybeeee" -She answered with a soft singsong. It was a far enough statement. She certainly felt tired in the daytime. So Ai might very well be right. But reguardless she wasn't tired tonight. And it seemed that her harrassment had waken her brother enough to play this evening.
Upon being freed and then tagged she quickly hopped herself up, bounding out after him towards the moon and starlit night on ivory paws, voice raising a few octaves as she reached the outdoors.- "Not for long I'm not!"

Looking back behind him as he fled the den to play outside, almost melting into the darkness that had fallen outside, except for the obvious betrayal from his own natural markings that illuminated his location.
"OH YES YOU ARE!" he called back, laughing and bounding about in a circular pattern. All he had t'do was stay ahead of her. Right?
That and not waking up the parents would give them plenty of time to play.
Bounding off into the grass, Ai ducked down, attempting to hide in it's stalks, while giggling madly. He wouldn't have been laughing if it were Jing. Then he would've been running as far away as possible to get his older brother in trouble.

-Eyes surveyed the area as she padded outside the cave, pondering in which direction to travel. Ai was much harder to find then Jing, ecspecially at night when his pelt blended in with the darkness that swallowed the land.
Padding in a wide circle as she debated which way to go her ears twitched, catching the giggles on the wind. Grin widening Xu play crouched, before bounded in the general direction of the sound, calling out lightly.- "Just wait until I catch you Ai!"
-She pondered over some sort of fitting punishment. Tickling maybe? Or a big sloppy girl kiss to his cheek. Giggling almost as loudly as he was she searched about.-

Ai watched as his brightly illuminated sister-unit looked about for him, ducking his head down a bit. As her attention seemed to shift to him, Ai let out a squeak of surprise, before the rustle of grass gave away that he was moving locations.
As well, it gave away where he was headed as well.
"I'll have to wait!" he crowed back in a teasing manner, implying that he was such a good hider (*snort*) that he would be able to hide from her FOREVER.
Which wasn't quite so, but it wasn't the place of people to ruin the dreams of cubs.
Flopping back down into a crouching position hiding in the grass, Ai again began to giggle.

"Not ahhh!" -A giggle and squeal escaping the cub at the taunt. She was a good player, yes she was. And even if he was bigger and stronger then her, she'd get him eventually.
Ah ha! As the grasses began to wobble and rustle Xu was able to find her brother even in the darkness. Bounding towards the mass of grasses as she followed after the appaent trail he left behind. Slowing as the grasses began to settle she crept along, ears lifting to catch the sound of her brother's giggle, while trying hard to contain her own.
It was hard to pinpoint his exact location.. but when she thought she finally saw him, a little bit of black within the grasses, she crouched, pouncing rather clumisly paws outstreched as if she intended to hug him to death when she caught him.- "Itttttttttt!"

Being as flaunting as he was, Ai held no real fear in his sister finding him in the grass, thus had taken to distracting himself with something else, such as something shi- ooooh, bug! Easily distracted, the cub looked down to the crawling insectoid, watching it curiously.
In fact, he wasn't aware his sister was behind him, until her warcry filled the night air, causing him to yelp in surprise, and scramble forward quite a few steps, then have a sibling unit land flat on top of him, squishing him into the ground.
Squeaking panickedly, he rolled onto his side, or rather he attempted to, pawing at Xu in an attempt to get her fat-behind off of him. "YOU'RE SQUISHING ME!" he whimpered.

-A soft squeal of pleasure escaped her as she actually landed upon the soft pelt of her brother, though soon enough she was struggling to stay on as he bucked and pawed, her own paws wrapping around his chubby little body.
Ears lifting and twitching with the cry, she glanced down at him suddenly to see if he actually looked hurt, before finally she retaliated, pawing back, through her legs did slip down to rest most of her weight on the ground.- "I'm not heavy enough to squish you Ai!"
-A play growl touching her throat she reached down to take a n** at the loose skin near his neck, lamenting lightly.- "Not fat!"
