-The little blue cub trounced through the grasses like a warthog with hungry hyena's at it's heels. Caring very little for the snapping of grass leaflets left in his path, and the unholy racquet that sounded through the air. Run run run, smacking grasses flat with his head and shoulders down like a battering ram.
Until finally his chest began to heave from exertion, slowing to a trot as he looked for a rock or something to perch himself on, so that he could view his handywork from above.-

Kaikura had managed to sneak away from his family and wander off on his own. There was only so much lovey-dovey talk he could stand from both his parental figures. Besides, he was going on an adventure! He was tempted to puff out his chest at the idea. He was a big strong warrior and he was going to have great adventures! And without his sissy siblings
He prowled around low to the ground, with his tail thrashing excitedly behind him. Finally he stopped when he heard something moving. Perking his hears he peered up carefully. Maybe it was a monster he'd have to fight! He saw a blue shape dart past and then come to a haunt a few feet away, panting. Tilting his head curiously he began to move towards it. He had never seen a living thing that was blue before...besides butterflies. It had to be a monster.

((Mayhaps. XD He very well might become one as he grows
By the way *snugs him to death* Sooo cute! ;D *luffs how the eyes shine and contrast with the colors of his face*))
-A rock.. a hill... something? He wanted to see the little maze and path he'd created. See how big his effect had been on the unsuspecting grasses. Maybe he should have found a rock in the first place.. and then played around it..
A sneer touched him at the thought, it wasn't helpful now.. only irritating. Huffing a little he slunk through the grasses, tail lashing, oblivious of the cub that'd spotted him. Just wait until he was bigger like his dad! Then he could squish down all the stupid grass and it wouldn't be so hard to find a dumb rock.-

(( Eeee, thank you. ;w; <33 He was my favorite of the litter and he was a gift to! ))
Kaikura stifled a cub-like growl that was forming in his throat. He could see the blue thing moving around...and he was going to get it! Luckily the monster didn't seem to notice him as he stalked closer. Pausing when he was within leaping distance he tensed his muscles like he had seen his parents do. Then clumsiy, he pounced right at the creature, "RAWR!" His brown form jumped and launced himself at the unsespecting cub, but no claws were outstretched. He hadn't exactly figured that part out yet.

"WHA!?" -Black ears flicked forward, similarly green eyes peering at the sound as suddenly a little body came flying at him. It happened too quick for him to retaliate, or pull his own claws forward, but he braced himself for the hit.
And as the other cub careened into him the two tumbled back Ahai laying on his back as eyes tried to survay the details of the situation, a young and rather unimpressive roar escaping him.- "Get offa me!"
-Tiny paws attempted to kick at the brown cub, as he added unpleasantly.- "Unless you wanna be my lunch that is."

Kaikura grinned in triump, feeling pride swell in his chest. Haha! See, he was strong! He wasn't going to end up like his dad, no sir! Though his grinning he barely noticed what he was sitting on until it began to kick him and he paid more attention. He did his best to bare down his weight and keep the other pinned. A look of bitter disappointment flickered on his young face, "Ah man! You're not a monster!" He was so put out he didn't notice the other cub's threat. Man, what a drag! He thought he had tackled an evil creature or something. Darn.

-Ahai's emotions ran across his face like a book, irritation.. as the moronic cub grinned like a doofus, insult as the words flickered over his eyes, and then anger as tiny claws unseathed themselves, swatting hard in the direction of the other cub.
How DARE he! First he bowled him over for no reason at all, and now he was treating him like he was some harmless little cubby? Obviously he had NO clue who he was dealing with. Attempting to push the other cub off of him he snarled.- "Are you so sure about that?"

Kaikura squeaked in surprise as Ahai's claws almost nabbed his face. A jolt was sent through his body in shock and for an instant his grip was loosened. He tumbled off the other cub, though in landed on his belly. He rose easily from that positon to give Ahai a furious and sour look. "Geeze, watch it!" He clipped with a bristle of his fur before shaking your head, "You're not monster. Monster's are big and scary and hidious. You're just blue." He didn't really mean it as an insult but...he didn't really care if the individual took it as such either.

-Making his way to his paws Ahai visibly bristled as well, fur standing tall on his back as irritation laced his face. He HATED being small.. he couldn't wait for the day he was as big as his daddy. But that's why he was training. Becoming stronger.
Puffing himself as big and tall as he could manage he growled.- "I may not be big yet, but I'm plenty scary kid."
"Wanna see?" -He lowered his head lightly, taking the unfamilar position that he knew went with prowling and pouncing.-

Kaikura eyed the other cub with curiousity. He too wanted to be strong, but for the opposite of Ahai's reasons. He didn't want to end up the hippie that his father was. He wanted to grow to be a big strong male who could do anything! So while he was rather dense when it came to others he did notice that the other cub was kinda interested in the same thing. Sorta. He tilted his head to one side slightly and murmured, "Well...you don't really seem scary to me. I'm real brave!" He stood proudly where he was, his green eyes sparkling against his white mask. "But...you do seem kinda strong." He paused and suggested, "Hey, I bet we'd both be real strong if we trained together!" He cleared his throat stiffly, "Not that I need it or anything."

-His expression slowly faded as the cub spoke, the words strong pulling more at him then the 'not scary' part. Muscles loosened and he looked over the other cub curiously. It really wasn't a bad idea.
Matsai wouldn't let him play and wrestle all the time.. so having someone else that was kind of strong to wrestle and train with might be nice. And obviously the cub wasn't completely useless if he'd snuck up on and pounced him before.
Nodding gently he finally offered the slightest hint of a smile.- "I couldn't hurt to train together I suppose. I'm Ahaiyuta. You?"

Kaikura grinned widely to show his own pleasure. He wouldn't admit it too himself, but he was very excited to have someone to "train" with. His brothers and sister were no good for that. On the contrary, his parents didn't like him rough-housing at all. This was going to be great! "I'm Kaikura!" He said with pride and a condident flick of his tail. "Good to meet 'ya!" Even though he didn't really think about it that way, in reality he had just made his first friend. And it was going to make things so much cooler!

-Finally letting a full fledged grin filter upon his features, he nodded, testing the name on his tongue and memory.- "Kaikura."
-Padding nearer, he let the other cub's enthusiasm wash over him, his own tail beginning to sway with mild excitement. A sparring buddy would be neat. And would come in handy. Most of the pridelanders he'd seen so far had looked so meek and stupid. Maybe they weren't all bad though.- "You can call me Ahai if you like, that's what my family calls me for short."
"What do you wanna do first? Wrestle? Or maybe we play tug? Or hunt or something.."

"Ahai...cool," Kaikura nodded his grin growing so that it allowed his mouth to open in an obvious smile. With a flicker of his ears he jumped back, bringing his front close to the ground with his tail thrashing in the air. "I think we should...practice stalking!" Though he had to admit, wrestling sounded uber fun too. But they could always do that afterwards, right? They had all the time in the world! "I could see you real easy with you're blue fur...we should see if we can hide it!" He sounded excited at the challenge. He wasn't sure if it was possible to hide Ahai's blue coat.

-He nodded at the stalking comment crouching gently in imitation, though his face clearly showed the skepticism that laced the comment on his pelt.- "This is the pelt of a prince. You don't just hide it." -He scoffed, before puffing a little. He was proud of his brillantly hued coat, something that made him and his twin so special amongst the golden pridelands.
It probably WOULD be easier to hunt without it though.. - "If I can hunt and catch things even with this bright pelt it just shows what a skilled hunter I am. Strength over trickery."
