 Stomach low against the grass, lime green eyes peered through the tall stalks. Siltim was stalking through the Pridelands. For what, no one knows but himself, just as long as he isn't under his mother's watchful eye. Ever since he grew into a juvenile, his mother has seemed to get extra protective over him and he couldn't stand it. His older sister had left to wander the lands as his side kick wasn't here with him but his mother at the moment and so, this left the little green juvenile bored and looking for something to do.

Tufani was resting underneath a tree that she had found. Normally, she wasn't one to be sitting still when there was exploring the Pridelands to do, but she had been busy of late. Her adolescent form was growing every day, and Jani was constantly sending her on hunting trips, since she was too busy raising pups to do the hunting herself. But she was free today, and she had nothing to do. Resting and watching her surroundings seemed like a good choice for now.

Ah! Prey! A large grin spread across the juvenile features as Siltim stalked his way over towards the larger form. Lowering himself even more in the green grass, he blended in quite nicely. As quiet as he could be, he waited till he was closer to take a good look at his prey. A nice sized lioness! In a heartbeat, he leapt through the air and landed on the lazing lioness with a playful roar. "You're mine!"

"I...am?" Tufani asked, a bit shocked by the sudden weight on her side. Sleepy eyes the color of rubies peered at the interrupter of her rest. A cub. A green cub, who looked familiar in some ways, but different in important ways. "You're Shimah's brother?" the black lioness asked as she attempted to shake the little cub off her. She hoped she was correct; Shimah was younger than her when they met, so her cubs wouldn't be part of that crazy boom that was happening in the Pridelands. At least, Tufani hoped not. That'd be a bit creepy.

Chuckling at the lioness' reaction, Siltim rolled off of her before standing before the lioness. Though, her words were surprising. She knew his older sister! Nodding his head, "Yes, Shimah's my older sister. I'm Siltim!" He flicked his tail back and forth, "And you are...?"

Ah good, she was right. That was a minor relief. He definitely looked a lot like his older sister. How curious! "My name is Tufani. It's a pleasure to meet you, Siltim! What brings you out here, besides pouncing on napping lionesses?" She paused in thought for a moment. "How is Shimah doing? I haven't seen her in a while."

Lime green eyes looked at the lioness before gazing at her tail. It was just sooo tempting to the little green juvenile. Siltim lowered himself before pouncing on the fluff of the tail. Pawing at it playfully, he gazed back up at the lioness, Tufani. "It's nice to meet you, Tufani!" At her question, he glanced left and right before replying, "Trying to find some fun and hide from my mom! She's been keeping me closer to her than usual, ever since I got a little bigger." His tail flicked slightly before he heard the question about his sister. He smiled slowly, "Oh, Shimah was a bit restless and a friend offered to take her to see the lands before coming back. She should be back soon, I'm sure she'll be happy to see you!"

"Well, moms tend to be overprotective," Tufani said. "I guess it's their way of telling us that they love us. Though my mom can't keep me pinned down, now that I'm bigger than her." At the news of Shimah, she listened curiously. "Ah, so she decided to go explorin'?" Tufani asked. It made sense; when they last talked, they were talking about the fun of explorin'. Shimah must have decided to have a bit more fun. "I've been explorin' a bit myself, though I'm back in the Pridelands to stay now. I can't be away for too long without getting homesick; strange, isn't it?"

Huffing slightly, the little juvenile turned his head and gazed out. "I guess, but she only does it to me since I'm the smallest of the litter." Siltim flicked his tail before rolling over and pawing at Tufani's tail playfully, "Yea, got that from my mom." He smiled at the thought of his sister out having fun somewhere while he was having fun here. Getting to his paws, he walked past Tufani before glancing back at her, "Want to go and have some fun?"

"You may be the smallest of the litter now, but your a boy. Boy lions are supposed to be bigger than girl lions when they're fully grown," Tufani said in a matter-of-fact tone, before she started giggling at Siltim's paws touching her tail fur. "Hey, that tickles!"
Far be it from her to give up an opportunity for fun. Though she was nearing adulthood, Tufani still enjoyed playing cub games occasionally. "Sure. What do ya wanna do?"

Boys are supposed to be bigger than girls when they full grown? That made Siltim smile with glee! Just the fact that he'd be able to be bigger than his sister put a smile on his face. As Tufani agreed to play with him, the little green juvenile chuckled. "Yay! I know of a good place to play at. Shimah showed me it not too long ago."

"Okay," Tufani said. "Show me!" She was always willing to go searching for new places to play at, even though by Jani's standards she was getting too old for this sort of thing. If nothing else, it would be most useful to know these places so she could find her jackal siblings when they got old enough to get into trouble.

With the lioness following him, Siltim's lime green eyes flickered back and forth, looking for that special spot. Once he found it, he smiled to himself and all the fun that could come from it. Glancing back to Tufani he said, "We're almost there!" And right before his eyes laid a long, flat valley with plenty of trees and rocks to hide behind. It was a great place to play hide and seek. "This place is great! Hide and seek sounds good, Tufani?" He asked, with eyes large and hopeful.

Tufani scanned the area, noting it for future reference. It definitely looked like a good hide and seek spot; she would have to take her jackal siblings here when they were old enough. "Sounds good to me," Tufani said, smiling at the younger lion. While the rocks didn't look like things she could hide behind, the shadows of the trees looked interesting enough..."Do you want to be It first, or would you like me to be It first?" she asked. She honestly didn't care, though the prospect of finding a good enough place to hide and take a short nap at the same time seemed inviting.
