The Great Big Book of Rules
Listen up, I'm only going to tell you once.

Rules and Guidelines
I. Like any good Gaian should, please follow the rules that the administration team has set in the Terms of Service. If you have not read it, it is advised you do so now. This rule is put in place so that you don't get in trouble, and neither do we.

II. Already stated in the ToS, we bring it up a second time. No posting of sexual content which crosses the boundries of PG-13. This includes pornography, text which includes graphic sexual content, and so on and so forth.

III. Stating the obvious now, I ask that you type correctly. We are a guild dedicated to literacy, after all. It would defeat our purpose if we let an illiterate user stick around now wouldn't it? Typos are common, and not everyone is going to have a perfect understanding of the English language. Gramatical errors are going to occur, and not everyone has English as their first language. However chatspeak and 1337 are unforgiveable acts against literature and will be punished.

IV. More like a request than a rule, but do please try to be an active member of the community.

V. Do not flame your fellow literate. Discussions are fine, even if they get a little heated. However downright flaming a user is not and you will be punished for doing so.

Bi-Weekly Reports

Bi-weeky meaning that you do this report one every other week. Yes, these reports are mandatory - and yes. You can be punished for not turning in your report. As mentioned in the other thread you place these reports in the thread titled 'Report Topic.'

The purpose of these reports is a simple one. They keep a user active and asks them their thoughts on certain things. Rather than demanding role play, we thought it would be easier if we asked the users to submit something as simple as a report.

Rules for Combat

First, always use the dice. The dice ensure that everything is fair and left to chance. Now, granted, for those of us who like to play by logic, it's.. A tad hard to get used to - but at the same time as previously stated it keeps things fair. It'll keep battles swift and, not only that, but keep them from lasting for days upon days.

Second, now just because we have a system which prevents logic usage to it's fullest extent doesn't mean you can't use logic. In short what I'm saying is.. Just because we are using magic doesn't mean you pull the effects out of your a**. The ability to 'communicate' with the deities must be present. In other words, in order to summon a water spell there has to be a mass of water present. In order to use a fire spell, the air cannot be moist. In order to use a spell the conditions must be right. Next, I'd like to ask that we keep magic usage to a logical amount. I don't want huge flashy balls of flame - hear?

Third, a second tidbit as far as magic goes. Logic is applied here as well. Opposing magic spells can be used against eachother to cancel eachother out. Think with your head, please. Water doesn't nessicarily defeat water, water can turn the water to steam. Thusly they cancel eachother out. Think like that, please.
