Media has to blame something, and the Gaming Industry is its scapegoat. As one of the comments state, he liked violent video games because he was a violent person. It wasn't that video games made him into a violent person.

And apparently he also says somewhere "Life is a video game, you’ve got to die sometime" http://www.benedictionblogson.com/?p=2689Video games clearly weren't helping him out, so they do probably deserve some of the backlash. But seriously, how did nobody notice the kid was ******** up? He should've been given counseling or something.

I wonder though how bad things will get when someone actually releases a game where you're a kid and you go into a school and shoot everyone you want to.

And then he just snapped. I was actually thinking of writing a novella along the same premise.

WHAT!!!!
That's so stupid! I play violent and gory games, I watch violent and gory movies and I read violent and gory books. Am I a killer? NO! Am I violent? NO! Only in games and when I play Exalted but that's all. Never in real life. And like a lot of other people. Damned closed-minded persons that can't see that the problem is most of the time bad parents or mental problem. But nooooo! Blame video games, mangas, comis and t.v.! scream It's not OUR fault but their!
