Rules
On Originality:
- Do not steal anyone's idea. If you like their idea, ask if you can use it. AND GIVE CREDIT TO THEM.
This includes characters, photography, rules, layouts, and plots/stories. Seriously, if you can't think of a single thing that is your own, then you might as well get out of here.
We, in this guild, do not tolerate people who steal things from other people without permission or credit.
On Literacy:
- No asterisks when in character to describe your actions.
We would like it if you posted at the minimum of two paragraphs each post. But honestly, as long as you give enough "meat" to your post, it does not matter length. As long as you are giving enough for other people, we love you.
There is no maximum to your posts. And you don't have to make your paragraphs gigantic looking. You are allowed to break them up, even if it makes your post look shorter. It can be easier to read, because remember, people actually read your posts.
Proper grammar and spelling is expected, but we do understand spelling mistakes. Though please, if you don’t know the proper use for some sort of punctuation, don’t use it.
On Photography/Photos/Pictures:
X| If any of these rules are not followed, you will be asked to fix whatever is wrong.
- Credit is to be given to the photographer/model. That includes pictures from MySpace, VampireFreaks, modelmayhem or any other site.
If you don’t know the photographer/model, and even if we do, you will be asked to find another picture. If you don’t know the photographer/model, then you shouldn’t be using the picture. (But do not feel like it's horrible if you can't get the credit, sometimes some models are too perfect and you can't find another one.)
The models or people in the photograph should be the same person.
If drawings or digital art is being used as an appearance, if that is accepted in the roleplay you intend to join, we ask that you credit the artist as well, unless it was found via google or photobucket. Deviant Art pictures, however, must have a credit for them.
On Romance/Violence/Language:

Cybering is an absolute no. If you insist on having there be sex or anything close to it, simply skip the scene and resume role-playing once everything is ‘finished’ on some other medium. (We do not condone cybersex.)
Swearing is fine, but it doesn’t need to be in every single sentence, and certainly not every other word.
We ask that for most roleplays here that it's not strictly romance and trying to make your character look good for the brooding boy over in the corner.
Miscellaneous:
X| These rules shouldn’t be taken any lighter than the others just because they have no specific category.

Do not post in a role-playing thread unless you are a part of the role-play.
OOC should somehow be indicated as such.
If you feel that you have been unfairly blacklisted from a roleplay, nothing can be done about it. You have obviously broken rules for that roleplay, and the decision is entirely up to the roleplay owner.
We hope that you stay active in the guild, even if it's not a roleplaying post. How frequent you should post in a roleplay is up to its owner.
If you are going to be gone for an extended period of time, please let us know before hand. Also, let the owners of any roleplays you're in know.
We reserve the right to change/add to these rules as we see fit. So do check back.
Do not take these rules and copy and paste them into your own guild. However, if credit is given, then I don’t mind.
A roleplay owner does not have to give reasons as to why someone has been asked to leave other than the person that was kicked out. Unless they want to share, of course.
