For too long people have been using "gay" as an insult.
I'm tired of hearing people say "Dude, that's gay."
I've had enough and it's time we standup for ourselves.
I will not be used as an insult anymore!
If you ever hear someone say "Dude, that's gay" the least you can do is tell them to stop.
Me? I'll be spitting in their face.

I hate people who use the word Gay like that, my "best" friend says it a lot, but doesn't know about me, and that I'm not straight.
Everything is "gay", it annoys me, but can't say anything, because then they will get suspicious as to why I'm so worried about that.

honestly.. its just a word. i know they say sticks and stones or whatever, but that never made any since to me either.
just because some one says "Dude, thats gay" doesnt nessasaraly mean there using "you" as an insult. yeah you may be gay and proud of it, but in this world today it is supposed have a "Freedom of speach" lots of people say "dude thats gay" but bad habits die hard. i say it, but it doesnt nessisaraly stand for something being gay, when i say that it means it was so uberly stupid its funny (whatever it is that i said that about) or its just plainly dumb.
also, in a world way back when gay meant happy, not something that holds meaning to two guys together ^^

my best friend is gay.
and she always says "That's gay." and things like that.
srsly.
it's just a word that has been bastardized into having another meaning.
no big deal in my opinion.

Good luck trying to get the whole world to stop using it that way. I personally think you're being way too over-sensitive. It's just a word, who really cares? When they say "That's gay", they mean something like "That's stupid". Not, "I hate ******** homosexuals".
Really, it's pointless to try and stop everyone from saying it, since you'll just probably end up pissing them off and making them say it more, and, like I said, you can never get everyone to stop saying it.
So, yea. Relax. It's just a word. I'm all equal rights and pride s**t and all, but honestly.

Yeah, it isn't a big deal--I mean, when "gays" started using it to describe themself, it was commonly accepted to mean happy! I'm sure 'happy' people didn't start getting mad at them.
