So I have an epi. How, short of calling gibson, can I tell how old it is?

As far as I know about epiphone serial numbers, it goes something like this. Don't quote me on this however.

First letter is what factory the instrument came from.

The first pair of numbers are the year of when it was made.

The second pair of numbers are the month of that year in which it was made.

And then the rest of the numbers are production numbers.
