I downloaded a demo online, so I was playing it. Pretty cool, but I'm still getting used to the controls.
Has anyone ever played this pc game before? If you have, is it fun? I want to play it at my friend's house, but it won't install.

It's one of those games where you can appreciate the art and storyline. The game itself, isn't all that great IMO. But I'm not discouraging you to try it, it's pretty lookin' for its time.

I own it, i tried playing it when it first came out but my computer was craptacular so it didn't run well, so i got fed up and uninstalled it....i should try it again on my new computer....hmmm. anyways the art was really cool and i liked the idea behind it, as for the actual play I can't really say, since it didn't work too well.

One of my friends owned Alice, so I got a chance to play it on occasion. The game's fun, but there are some points where the control scheme and hit detection make certain tasks a lot harder than they need to be. Of course, some of the levels are just effin' impossible to begin with. Be prepared for a lot of frustrated cursing in the computer's direction.
It's worth it, however, just for the sheer atmosphere of the thing. The later levels especially are wonderfully twisted and just a lot of fun to interact with.

My fiance has the game. It's alright as far as gameplay goes, and the art, as mentioned by several others, is spectacular considering when it was made. The controls are lacking though, and you can die pretty easy (unless you have cheats) but if you love Alice in Wonderland and you're obsessed with the original disney stories, before they were made all child friendly, or even if you're interested in a wicked twist of a disney story, then it's a good investment. But yeah, great point about the whole cursing thing. That's gonna happen.

Omg, this game is sooo awsome! 4laugh heart You should play the full version... It's great. heart
All the ideas/art and level designs in the game is so cool... And the weapons are great, too. xd If you get stuck, you can just explore 'round the place and notice all the little nifty things in the world. n.n

I played Alice. I really liked it, though, like Miss Lotus said...I cursed alot at my computer out of sheer frustration. The atmosphere is twistedly beautiful, and I'm in love with the storyline. I'm thinking about buying it for my boyfriend. Does anyone think he'd like it?

my best friend owns this game and i thought it was awesome...the controls...as everyone else has mentioned...are pure hell and will become really frustrating when you keep dying...but the game itself is delightfully twisted and beautiful... ^^

I've played this game to death...TO DEATH lol. I loved it from begining to end in regards to its artwork and story (and the Cat was soooooo cool). The controls made me want to huck my computer out of a window especially on levels that required jumping or precise timing. I'll admit, some levels I cheated my way through (weapons cheats for bosses mostly)
When I lived in a dormatory, my friends would always show up to watch me play. They sat there for 7 hours one day watching me die over and over on an especially glitchy part rolleyes
