Katina walked through the forest taking in the sights and smells that she can experience because of her change. Even though colors are beginning to fade a little it doesn't change how she sees things. Ever since she got here she knew something was different, she now knows that that was only half true.
About ten minutes later she saw a small clearing so she decided to sit there and just relax. So many odd thing have happened that they are all cluttering her mind and no matter how hard she tries she cant get them to go away. So she now sits in a small, quiet serene clearing hoping that she will be able to clear her thoughts.

Minna was taking a strole through the woods. She'd had enough rest for the time, and was beginning to feel very stir crazy.
Ahead she spotted a clearing, and curiosity killed the cat. Not the meerkat. She made her way to the clearing, grumbling as her thin sweater, as well as her tail, got stuck with thorns.

Katina perked up one of her ears as she head some sounds coming from behind her. She turned her head but couldn't see anything but trees. She shrugged it off and turned back around. She laid down and put her hands behind her head and looked to the sky, thinking.

Still grumbleing, she walked into the clearing. Glacing up from pulling thorns out of her light blue sweater, she saw another girl sitting under a tree.
"Uh, hope I didn't interupt.", she wispered to herself

Hearing something again she turned around and saw another girl standing and pulling thorns from her sweatshirt. She looked at her, She looked like she had also changed.
Not wanting to be rude she smiled at her," Hello there, a fine day is it not?"

This surprised Minna.
"Yea, it is a nice day. Just right, ya know?", she smiled and smoothed out her sweater.

She smiled again and laid back down," By the way, my name is Katina." She inhaled deeply, something about this woman seemed familiar but she could quite place it.

~Katina, where have I heard that name? Oh..~, realization dawned on her, it was a name Chris had mentioned to her.
She waved and replied,
"I'm Minna."

She knew that she had heard that name before too yet she could remember from where. She shrugged it off, probably just a coincidence." So Minna what brings you to the forest?"

"Oh, I'm just stir-crazy. Ya know? Needed the air, and some sun.", she replied.
She walked over and sat down next to Katina.

"Ya I know exactly what you mean, I was in the infirmary with this guy named Chris and he kept telling my that I had passed out after we killed a deer, yet I cant seem to remember a thing. So I had to get out and just think you know?" She took a deep breath, man was it good to get away from all that pollution.

She turned to look at Minna," Ya I first met him in front of his duplex along with his brother Erik.Everything after thats kind of a blank. Truth be told I really like him." She started to blush a little." So how do you know Chris?"

The color must have fallen from Minna's face, and she quickly thought of something to say. The whole truth might not be good right now.
"We're good friends. I think he's mentioned you once or twice."

She turned to Minna," Really? What did he say?" Her whole face lit up at the thought of Chris mentioning her.
