My real name is Gerald Erickson, but everyone calls me Jerry. That, or Jer Bear. Yeah, you imagine guys shouting down the halls "Hey Jer Bear!" and see what people think of YOUR sexual preference.
Anyway, I'm 17 years old and a junior in highschool. I live in Portage, Indiana and I have since the middle of freshman year. I love it here and wouldn't go to any other school even if I could. This is the longest I've even gone to the same school, I believe. Yes, I've moved a lot in my lifetime. The last place I lived [besides the 1 month move to my mom's in Fort Wayne, Indiana] was in Arlington, Texas. I live in a decently comfortable house now, and many friends live right by me.
My parents divorced during the beginning of my freshman year. I moved with my dad for dumb reasons that I really regret, because I love my mom with all my heart, and my dad is...something else =| Oh well, it could be worse. I have a 14 year old brother and twin 5 year old sisters. Nick [we've always called him Nikki], Amanda and Emily, respectively. I live with my brother and dad, while my mom remarried and lives with my stepdad and sisters. I go to my mom's every other weekend, they come up to my dad's every other weekend. I have issues with the whole thing, so I go see a shrink. ^_^
My social life is great. I have a lot of friends, and for once in my life, I can actually start to trust people. To an extent, of course. My best friend used to be one of my worst enemies. I broke him and his g/f up, after they had gone out for two years. I ended up breaking up with her after a year we went out, and during that year, him and I did not get along too well. I was fed a lot of lifes about him, and vice versa. It turns out he's one of the nicest people I've met.
As for women... well, what can I say ^_^;; I'm a hopeless romantic who gets involved with women WAY too quick, but I can't help it! I love women!! Though it may sound a little bad, I've actually never cheated on ANY of my girlfriends... though hey, I've been cheated on in every relationship besides....3. One was because it only lasted a DAY, one was because I dumped her, the other was because she liked another guy and dumped me. At least she didn't cheat on me. xd
Personality-wise, I'd say that at first I can be very quiet. That lasts for about one minute ^_^. I tend to open up pretty quickly. I've learned it's best to; you put yourself out there, others will follow suit, and you get to know them without playing all those stupid little games. I'm usually a very nice person, but I can be a VERY mean person. I usually just choose not to ^_^;; I'm a very big smartass [all my friends and I say we've yet to meet someone who's a bigger smartass than me] and I speak my mind ALL the time. It usually works out pretty well, but CAN cause problems. I believe in being honest, no matter what you're talking about. If I have a problem with something, I will say so. I also tend to repeat myself in several different ways in order to get a point across. I tend to do it a lot, in many different ways. It happens pretty much all the time. Oh, and I joke around a lot. wink I'm pretty intelligent, which can be a good or bad thing. It just depends on how you view it, I suppose.
My favorite thing in the WORLD to do besides be with people is to listen to music. I prefer placebo, thrice, incubus, any type of funk, jazz, blues... as long as it's not that light rock elevator music, rap, pop, most pop punk, or most country. Music is my life, I love it. It helps me when I'm down, and keeps my mood up. Helps me sleep and makes me think. If you write/make music, you're doing a world of good to someone like me.
My main weakness personality-wise would be patience. I hae virtually zero patience for people. I get irritated VERY easily, even with people I say are my great friends. Only person who doesn't irritate me is my best friend that I talked about above [Mike].

But despite all that, I really am a firm God-believer.

My name is Tony Karlsson Kytö, I'm Swedish-Finnish, I'm 18 years old, born march 6th, I live in Märsta, a small town, about 40 km north of Swedens capital, Stockholm. I live alone in a apartment, that my parents pay for. My older brother used to live here with me, but he recently moved out.
I go to "Gymnasiet" which would be like, upper secondary school. This is my last year of school(I'm studying to be a chef..), and after that, I'm going to find a job in a restuarant. Hopefully. I enjoy going to school, even if I do have some boring classes.
I enjoy playing computer-games, and console-games. And I devote half my life to Magic: the Gathering, a game I really enjoy(A card-game, for you who does not know). I like a variety of different musicstyles, but I prefer Metal of most kinds. My Favourite tv-show would be C.S.I.

My Gaia name is Tlarn, but my real name is Luis Alberto. That's my full first name, but I go as Luis or Luu for short. I'm Puerto-Rican born and raised in the town of Comerio. I've lived in Puerto Rico for half of my life, so I know many of the sites there, such as the San Juan plaza, the old Spanish castle (I've forgotten the exact name), and the "Fluorescent Sea".
I first moved to the US when I was about 2 or 3 years old. In a few years, I've had two little sisters, both two years apart with the same birthday. Also, my mother and father are both from Puerto Rico. My mother used to be in a band, and my father is a doctor.
I've had to take Kindegarten twice, because at the time I didn't know enough English to advance to the First grade. As I progressed through school, I made many friends and not so many enemies. I'm a pacifist at times, but I'm easily riled up. It's simply genetic; Hispanics have short tempers in general.
I'm currently in high school, a Junior, or in the 11th grade. I reside in Florida right now, and getting scared to death of Frances and Ivan. I'm a pure gamer and tech-head, having all three of the new-age systems and a monstrous computer. I've plaed games from Atari to XBox, playing the entire spectrum of genres available.
By personality, I'm playful, outgoing, easy to get along with, and easy to befriend. I'm pretty forgiving of others, but I'm highly protective of friends and family, especially my two sisters. Okay, this is the not so full but nearly full profile of the dirty swede. My real name is actually Olov, and the reason for me getting that is because I was born on my great grandfathers birthday thus getting his name. I'm usually called Olle by most. I'm currently 16 years old but I'm planing to live atleast until I reach 60. I live in the northern part of sweden known as västerbotten, Umeå to pe precise in an appartment with my mother and brother.
Just like Tony I go to what we call "Gymnasiet" in sweden. But I'm in the first year studying the social majoring program and I also enjoy school to a certain extent. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do when I graduated but probably I'll do one of these two things; Go to university and study directly or maybe travel around a bit, perhaps visit the US or something.
I play the french horn and have been doing so for the last 12 years, I'm quite good if taking in what others say but in my opinion I suck majorly. I also train Kyokushin in my spare time, which is a full contact fighting karate style. I have been doing that for 3 years and before that I did Ju-jutsu for 5 years, believe it or not but I'm actually qiute the pacifist (or however you spell it) Other then I practicly live for music and most kinds of it will make me feel good inside.
As for family I have six siblings, four brothers and two sister but thank the lord I only live with one of them, the rest lives with my father. I’ve lived in Chicago my entire life. It’s a nice place to grow up. I highly recommend it. I have one older brother (20) and I still have both my parents. They actually love each other which seems to be unusual this day and age. My mom doesn’t work anymore due to health problems but she bakes for money. She should start her own shop because her food is to die for. My dad works part time for some…place. Not sure where. I’m not sure how we’re getting by, but I have my theories (sorry, I can’t say).
I’m a Junior in high school. My best friend is Crack-Baby Dandelion (I’d use her real name but I’m too lazy to get permission). My life is spent hanging out with friends, barely passing school, and going to science-fiction and fantasy conventions. It’s a good life.
I’ve had some heartbreak in my life so I’m a bit edgy when it comes to love these days. I don’t plan on having kids or getting married. Even if I find “the one” I’d rather be just boyfriend and girlfriend. I have really weird views on life and how it should be lived. One of the many reasons why I’m agnostic too.
I’m friends with everyone who’s friends with me. I’m outgoing and I like doing what I want when I want. I’m also histrionic, OCD, and slightly ADD all diagnosed by myself because the government controls psychologists and they’re all out to get me. I’m into philosophy and talking for hours on end about everything in life. My favorite bands are APC, Tool, Incubus, and bunch more that I’m too lazy to type out. My name's Patrick, although Pat or Felix are my two current real-life aliases. I grew up in the Bay Area of California in a small house we rented from my grandfather for the first ten years of my life, where I homeschooled grades 1-5. Always introverted as a child, I spent most of my time reading books, playing computer games, or wandering about in the several national forests that I lived near.
When I was about 10, my family and I moved to Boise, Idaho. I went unwillingly, and enrolled in a public school for the first time. It was a drastic change, but I adapted and quickly fell squarely into the "nerd" category. I met a now-good friend, who I "went out with" at the end of the year, but she moved away and we lost contact for several years. Years rolled by, I fell in with my current group of friends, and began to take an interest in RPGing, anime, and other similar pursuits.
I'm now a senior in high school, and my academic interests lie primarily in English, Japanese, and psychology. I got back in touch with my sixth grade girlfriend towards the end of my freshman year, and we became close friends, had a long distance relationship for about half a year, visited her this summer, and broke up just a few weeks ago.
I'm 6'2", weigh a little over 150 lbs, and have always looked older than I actually am. I'm a Euro-mutt, with primarily Anglo-Saxon ancestry. I took a drama class and became a little more outgoing and comfortable with myself, but I am still fairly reserved, cautious, and quiet. I was born Marie Elizabeth Page. Though that's not my name -_-. Was born July 19, 1985, in Benton, Arkansas.
Was raised there most of my life (if you add it up). Was put in the hospital a lot as a kid too. For most inflicted wounds from others. Moved to Utah at age 8. Then moved a year later to Arizona. Where I lived for 4 years. Had fun. Met people I would love forever. Broke my wrist in 5th grade, which I recently found out is the cause of my emotional pain and fears in life. So me and my mom moved back to Arkansas for a few months. Was Barbie that halloween. XD. I still have the dress. o_o... I remember my chest fit in it perfectly and I was in 9th grade and it was my sisters from senior year. -_- (Now it takes a lot to put my chest in that dress). Then we moved back to Connecticut. Started another High School. Made good friends, one which I still have to this day. (Longest real friendship besides an online one since 7th grade).

I was born Marie Elizabeth Page. Though that's not my name -_-. Was born July 19, 1985, in Benton, Arkansas.
Was raised there most of my life (if you add it up). Was put in the hospital a lot as a kid too. For most inflicted wounds from others. Moved to Utah at age 8. Then moved a year later to Arizona. Where I lived for 4 years. Had fun. Met people I would love forever. Broke my wrist in 5th grade, which I recently found out is the cause of my emotional pain and fears in life. Hi, I’m DyslexicSquirrel. I got the idea for my user name from an inside joke that started with an online friend I met before I joined Gaia. It was based on cool points and it’s a bit hard to explain. You really needed to be there. My real name is Carrie, which some of you might have picked up because that’s what Maki calls me most of the time. I’m twenty years old and work at Sears. I hate my job. I’m not currently in school because of....umm, a little problem I had. It’s in my LJ somewhere if you really want to know about it (click the ‘www’ thing). Or you can just ask me later. When I go back to school, I’m planning to major in Interior Design. When I graduated from highschool, I had planned to go into technical theatre- it being one of my passions- but because of my massive stage fright and the fact that I was required to take numerous acting classes I had to take, that didn’t quite work. I broke down in class more than once.
Le’s see, I still live at home, it being cheaper and all. I have a sister. We don’t really get along. I have four pets, three cats and a dog. I love them to death. My cousin, who’s about two or three years younger than me is one of my best friends. I wish I saw her more. My bestest friend in the whole world, I’ve known since first grade. We helped each other survive eight years of Catholic school with a shred of sanity left. And I do mean a shred. We’re both insane. I did her home work a lot and let her cheat off my tests because all the teachers were out to get her. I was into theatre a lot in high school, as previously hinted at. I did three plays a year from sophmore to Senior year. I only did one in freshman year because I got introduced to the drama club late. Interesting stories about that.
I’ve been on Gaia since February 22, 2004. I stumbled into GD sort of by accident after my friend Keri finally convinced me to join. The Golden Age of Flaming, I guess you could call it, was just starting to dwindle when I started posting. GD was still a trial by fire. Either you got with the program or you were toast. Most of the good flamers were still around and, as far as I’m concerned, GD wasn’t as much of a s**t hole as it is now. I was a bit of a b***h back them. I still am, I’ve just toned it down a lot since I rarely venture out into the vast spamland that has become GD, sticking mainly to GNPM (duh) and TIG.
I’m currently questing for an OMG hat for Simply_Keri (as stated in my sig). Donations are welcome. ^^

My mum and daddy-o named me ______. I was named after Alexandra Romanov, the last Russian Czar's wife. My middle name is after my father, Daniel. Last name's Russian. I'm half Mexican, one fourth Polish and one fourth Russian.
Mum gave birth to me October 15th, '87 in Las Vegas, NV. I've lived here all my life and can count on my fingers how many times I've actually left this place on a vacation. This place really rocks, except of course for the extreme heat, but if you have an AC everything is peachy.
So, I went through a lot of shite with my padre for most of my life, now included. He's an abusive alcoholic, though it's mostly mental abuse with him. I've finally gotten a handle over my emotions, learned to let things go and am no longer depressed nor seeing my psychiatrist anymore. Yay!
Alrighty, on to family: I have an older sister that I adore. Her name's Rachel Snow and is 29. She is my mother's daughter. My dad has two other sons that I barely see. David and Daniel Jr., who are about 32 and 35. I'm not exactly sure about that, seeing as I don't see them as brothers. My parents have been together for over twenty years and have never married. I'm their flower baby.
I don't like people in general. Seriously, I completely despise the human race. But! I'm still happy to be alive and I enjoy mostly every moment of my life. Er, so I'm good at things, a lot of things, but I can't say I'm great at anything. I don't have any real subject I excel in, but I do like all fields of art and music. It may border on obsession.
I don't have a lot of friends. I stay away from people as much as I can, but I love to be with the few people I let near me. And on another note, I love being with girls just as much as boys. No discrimination with me on that subject, I'm absolutely in love human contact from people I know personally.
I'm quiet as hell in school, I don't talk to others and I keep to myself. You'd call me the loner, which is completely fine with me. I do well enough in my subjects, I'm not a dunce...mostly.

I was also born in San Jose, California, and then I moved to Colorado in 1994...I think. >.> Right now, I'm 12, 13 in a few days. Yay.
Anyway, I have a brother. O_o His name's Steve, and he's 18...19 in a few weeks, too. XD He was born in San Jose, also. My parents are OLD (Not telling! XP) and they were born in Vietnam. O_O
I've had a lot of pets so far...I guess. Three dogs, lotsa fish, and two baby frogs total. Most of my fish died along with my frogs, and two of my dogs have been given away. ;_; Only one dog's left with me. Uh, if I remember anymore pets, I'll edit my post or something again.
I've been to a lot of countries and different states so far...I've been ton Australia, Cancun, Florida, California, Nevada, and the Bahamas...I think. Only on a cruise. The latest trip I've been on was Florida, which was on Memorial day a few months ago. :3
Um...I take Aikido, I SOMETIMES ice skate...and that's all I can think of for now. gonk I'm an Orange Belt in Aikido. o_o I only take ice skating lessons because I have to, but it's fun to ice skate at times. ^_^

I have two brothers, one is 18, and one is 22. I am teh youngest of the group. They were rally mean to me when I was younger, and now I have am unbreakable habit where I flinch when ever someone makes a violent or sharp movment towards me stressed But, they have grown up, and so have I, and we get along really well now.
Right now I have four cats, Pandora, Barbra, Hermionee, and Plue. I have one dog, and she just had puppies three weeks ago. Her name is Stella, and her babies names are Agatha, Edgar, William, and Arthur.
I like to travel, especially to Asheville, NC, and Chatanooga TN. They both are very fun. Also, I have been to Washington like...eight or so times, and New York City three times. But, my ultimate travel is to go to Paris. Or anywhere else in France.
I've taken dance, operah (sp?), and some form of martial arts. All very short lived. Oh yeah, I played the recorder for about three months, but I didn't like it so just kind of blew off the lessons.
Ummm...I like to swing, and oh yeah, I still take dance everyone once in awhile, and....I ride skooter?

I have 3 stepsiblings who live in Rhode Island with my dad and stepmom. I don't see them much because I don't like going to see my dad and stepmom. They are fundamentalist Christians and my stepmom doesn't really like me. They've also insulted my mother and questioned her faith. But I do talk to them through my mom once in a while, just to touch base because my father has myotonic dystrophy and is slowly wasting away. So, I'm pretty happy with my family and my life in general. No major psychological problems, no abuse...we're good.Oh, and I'm a firm Presbyterian.

Hokay. My name is Ginny Alice Landt, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I turned 16 as of August 1, 2004. I was raised Jewish, although I consider myself agnostic. I go to Von Steuben Highschool, which isn't quite a neighborhood school, not quite a magnet school, but since I'm special like whoa, I'm in the smart part of it.... but for how long? XO
Kindergarten through eighth grade, I went to a small private school. By small, I mean 165 kids over all. All but one year there, I took Spanish, yet I hardly learned anything. Now I'm in Spanish 2 at my highschool, and may actually be learning stuff now. While English is the only language I speak, I can swear in Hebrew, and know random words in other languages also. Um... fruktorg!
Over the summer, I work at a summer camp at my old Hebrew school. My boss recently decided she hates me, so I don't think I'll be working there next summer. During the school year I work at the same Hebrew school under a different boss, as a teacher's aide for a kindergarten class. It's great fun and I love the kids.
As for other interests and hobbies... well, I really don't have much of a life, yet. I hang out with friends a lot, which usually consists of movie days or randomly wandering around, and of course, I'm addicted to Gaia, although I've lately been finding it less and less appealing. Don't expect me to leave, though, I doubt I ever will.
I recently started drawing a lot, and although I can't draw very well, I take a bit of pride in what I do. (DA account in WWW) Soon I'm also going to start doing stuff with chain mail, because my computer time has been restricted and my mom said she'd buy me whatever I needed, because she's dumb and insane. n_n
Oh! I love Science Fiction conventions, which I started going to last year, and if I keep up going to all that I want to, I go to three Sci fi and one Anime convention a year.
As for my personality, I'm pretty damn extroverted. I have almost no trouble talking to random strangers, whether it's something goofy or a serious question, unless it's... say, a first impression on a teacher. But aside from people that grade me and will tell my parents if they think I'm on drugs (I'm clean, by the way), I'll act like my crazy self whenever I choose to. Scaring people is great fun, try it.
The first day of school this year, Dahn and I ran around yelling to each other really loudly, wearing Krispy Kreme hats. We were the Krispy Kreme Avengers! XOOO
