whee Eek! This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The "hospital" scene, is probably my favorite sequence in a film of all time. Plus, Tim Robbins kicks a**!!! I really like the special effects, traditional effects are so much better, now everyone rips this movie off. crying

Yes! I love that movie! It's so good! Even the ending was satisfying.
SPOILER: IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE, DON'T READ THIS!!!
I had one problem with it, however: Was the "Ladder" drug real, and if so, how'd Jacob know about it if he only knew what he knew when he was alive?
OKAY, SPOILER'S OVER
I've read that Jacob's Ladder helped to inspire the gamemakers of the Silent Hill series.

I liked Jacob's Ladder, the scene where he's at the party with his girlfriend is really strange and wicked. I love in the beginning when all the black girls sing "Mr. Postman" to him. I just thought that was the coolest small thing just thrown in the movie. I have trouble watching it and keeping interest after seeing it before. It's still a good watch though.

deoi I've read that Jacob's Ladder helped to inspire the gamemakers of the Silent Hill series. Yes! This is true. That's one big reason I got into the Silent Hill games, which I am obsessed with. Those games also reference movies like Changeling, Session 9, Village of the Damned.. etc etc One reason they are so brilliant. ^^

This movie was great. I've been told that it set the standard for most psychological thrillers. It's definitely a must see movie

Saw this movie when it first came out but was too young to really remember really anything about it, though. Thought about picking it up to see it again, but still not sure. All I really remember from the movie was that it really freaked me out a lot and I swore I would never see it again, but I'm a lot older now and will probably understand what's it about.
