The roleplay so far... Mistress_Ice Veive sat by the edge of the river, dipping her hand in before pulling it back out and watching the water slowly drip from her fingertips. Without the worry of her fur from before she found that she was enjoying the water even more. Her ears perked slightly at diffrent sound in the woods that could be animals, humans, or other illusions but for the most part, kept to her little past time. Vocalization Riku shifted Aurelius in her arms, grimacing slightly when the dragonfly child dug her teeth into the crook of her elbow. It hurt to have a kid bite you even when they didn't have teeth. And Aure did. Her shoes made funny scuffling noises in the grass as she wandered. While she was distracted, a river jumped out of nowhere, and instead of a skrish sound, she got a loud splash and a suddenly cold foot. "Ow!" she whimpered. Aurelius giggled and cooed, then swung her head towards Veive. After a moment of quite muttering, the guardian looked too. Mistress_Ice Veive looked up curiously at the guardian and the other illusionary. She sat there for a moment considering what she should do before she stood and straightened her dress quickly as toddlers are prone to do in thir little way of trying to look pretty. Walking over slowly, still not used to two legs instead of four, she took a closer look at the little illusion, tail swaying and her nose squinching, still much like a fox. Vocalization Riku blinked at the child, then smiled. My, there certainly were plenty of children around without guardians lately, weren't there? "Hello there," she said cheerfully, settling down to the little girl's level. "I'm Riku Evans, and this is Aurelius." There was no doubt in her mind that this child was an Illusionary also. She hadn't seen many other children like this. "What's your name?" Mistress_Ice Veive looked at her curiously and cocked her head to one side. "I'm Veive. Who's that?" She pointed at the Illusion that Riku carried. "Are you it's guardian? My guardian is Ice....I think she's over there aways." Her ears perked alightly and her tail swayed faster in her excitment. This was the first human she had communicated with since she had gotten a slightly human form back. "This is Aurelius," Riku repeated, benevolently smiling on the foxgirl. "I'm her guardian, yes." Another guardian? It'd be the first time she'd met someone who was in (somewhat) the same position as herself. Her train of thought was derailed violently when Aure bit her again. Demanding to be put down, probably wanting to showoff newfound crawling skill. The guardian acquiesed, settling the blonde baby on the ground. "Lolo," Aure said impudently, patting about on the ground.

((Sorry, just remembered this now. ^^; I'm bad about remembering things in guilds))
Veive nodded and grinned. "I'll go get her for you! Wait here!" Turning, the girl ran off into the brush to go find Ice. Normally Veive wouldn't have been as friendly or enthusiastic but being able to have herself understood by others again and having a human form....frig it, it was time to celebrate. Running through the woods she saw Ice walking along with a hand full of lilies. Catching up to her she pulled at ther skirts impatiently, pointing towards Riku and Aurelius. "Come on Ice...there's others like us over there!"
Ice smiled and let herself be led by Veive in the direction the girl was pointing. Ice was used to a much moodier little fox cub nipping her when she wanted something, so this was a nice change of pace. Reaching the river, she saw the girl and Illiusion that Veive must have been talking about. She waved and smiled as they got closer. "Hi, I'm Ice."

"And I'm Riku," the brunette said, offering a smile. Aurelius sulked, feeling a little bit ignored. And kind of short. She straightened slightly, moving to sit up. "It's a relief to meet another Guardian." She offered Ice what she hoped was a friendly smile. "Lately, all the Illusionaries I've met have been rather... guardianless." The dragonfly child grumbled.

Veive rocked back and forth on her heels, eyeing the Illusion. She really did want to talk to him but she wasn't sure if he could talk back yet. When she was in the "baby" stage as Ice referred to her she was a fox cub, not a human baby, so she wasn't sure if he would have the same problems as she did when she tried to talk at that stage. Placing her tiny hands on her hips she thought for a moment and finally decided to try it. "So your Aurelius?"
Ice nodded in reply. "There do seem to be a fair share of them. I live further out, behind a waterfall, so I tend to not to see many Illusions or Guardians, but when I do they always talk about the Illusions who don't have guardians anymore."

The green-eyed baby's eyes rolled. She wanted to say, of course I am you dolt, but all she managed was a feeble "Yeah," a sound she had learned from Kieve. It sounded sulky, not all defiant as she had wanted it to be. Why was everyone bigger than her, anyway?
Riku shrugged. "Well, Tangia said that her guardian allowed her out alone, and I haven't really met any other Illusionaries." She glanced at Veive uneasily. Do all Illusionaries have silver hair? she worried, blinking at her. Both Tangia and Veive had silverish hair; Aurelius's was blonde as could be... "Are there any other Illusionaries, other than Veive, Tangia and Aurelius?" she asked.

"Veive has called me over protective. I like to be around her as much as possible. I've met a few other Illusions but not too many. I know that Veive has a sister, Anala, and I belive I've met one called Merenith at the Easter event. Maybe one or two others. I haven't seen Anala around in some time though, I've started to get a little worried but Veive seems fine about." She looked at Veive to see if she was listening and wasn't surprised to see that she had been tuned out.
Veive looked at the baby skeptically and folded her arms tightly. "Look, you got it easy. At least you can speak a little, I was a fox cub."

Aurelius blew a raspberry. "Sma'," she muttered, crouching as a cat might when it has seen a particularly inviting mouse. The mouse, in this case, was a particularly large flower near Veive's foot. She pounced, flattening the large pink flower, then sitting up to examine it.
"Hunh." Riku looked puzzled. "I've just met Tangia, but Obiel met one named Ean at one point, before-" She blinked, realizing that Ice might not know. "Uhm... well, there's one named Ean as well. And now your Veive."

Ice looked at the girl curiously. She thought that the name Ean sounded familiar. "I think Ean may have been at the Easter party a long time agao, but I could be wrong..." It had seemed like Riku was going to say something else but had stopped herself. It was alittle odd. "Oh, and there's also Ever and Her illsuion. I see them around a bit. SO I guess there's more around then we realise sometimes"
Veive jumped back when the baby pounced and snarled slightly. "You could have given more warning!"

"Well... I don't exactly know what to tell you," Riku mumbled, scratching her head. "I'm new to all this, yanno?"
The little baby flashed a smirk up at Veive, then experimentally stuck a leaf from the pink flower into her mouth and chewed. "No," she decided, throwing the flower away and continuing to prowl about Veive and the two adults' feet in search of other edible-looking things.

Ice grinned alittle. "Sorry. Believe me, I remember what being new is like." She thought back to all the weird things that had happened to her since meeting Veive and just smiled, on the inside, to herself. "So what brings you here today with Aurelius?"
Veive growled alittle at the baby and watched it curiously. "Did you think that the flower would taste good?" Rolling her eyes she walked over to a little bush and plucked a blueberry from it. Marching back over she stuck it out and offered it to the other Illusion. "Here. This tastes good at least."

"Thanks," Riku said, watching her Illusionary scamper about, stuffing things into her mouth. "...Well, just taking a walk. We were going to go visit some friends."
The blonde rolled her eyes and shoved the blueberry away. She knew that would taste good. She wanted to find things that would taste interesting! Different! Even poisonous would be good.

"Oh really? That sounds nice. Well, if your ever looking for a nice spot then just follow the fiver to it's source. It comes from a lake with a huge waterfall. That's where we live. Veive has a certain affintity for water so I thought it would be nice if we lived close to some."
Vieve rolled her eyes and ate the blueberry herself. "If you eat something that makes your tummy go bad then it's not my fault." Walking over she tugged on Ice's skirts and pointed at the baby. "Why is she eating all that stuff? It doesn't taste very good..."

Riku nodded, glancing down at Veive as she approached. "It's because Aure has an oral fixation," she said, couching her explanations in scientifical terms. "She has a compulsion to understand what things sense as to the olfactory and oral nerves."
The dragonfly baby nodded her head to an invisible beat as she chewed on a blade of grass.

Vieve squinched up her nose and made a face. "That sounds icky. I don't think I have one of those....oreally...fixtationions....?" She looked up at Ice with the look of a toddler who knows they have butchered a word but hopes it was close enough to be understood.
Ice smoothed the girls hair and smiled. "No, I don't think you do either Veive. I can barely get you to eat real food most days." She smiled at the girl across from her. "I think it's getting late and I should be getting this one to a nap soon. If you want a place to rest for a bit our cabin is only a few minutes from here. We'd be happy to have you there."
