Limbua was a meak seer leopon. This would be the first time without her brother, sister, and mother with her, and they weren't that far away if she managed trouble. Which she usually does. The jungle was quiet as ever with the exceptions of the swaying leaves and the rushing waters of the river. Walking down stream to the lake, she was hoping for something to happen. Oddly, her head was hurting and that usually meant something for her. She really needed someone to help her with her abilities or at least understand them to a bare minimum.
Bu let out a yawn, yipping tail off, and looked at the river's reflection.
"Who's beautiful? I am, that's right. And who is better than me? The boys!"
she squeeled childishly and chuckled. She loved boys, she always clumped them together as, strong, protective, big males that would do as she wanted them to. She was innocent and young, she was still dreaming.

Kichea smiled, glancing up at the sun that glittered through the dense trees, as she padded though the jungle. Although Riku had finally found her freedom and a place to call home, she still couldn't shake her love for wandering. It was something she hadn't had the power to do since she was a cub and she was loving it.
She slowed and swiveled an ear at the sound of a child’s giggling. Had one of the cubs followed her from the den? What a foolish game of hide and go seek... They could get hurt following her this far. "Who's there?" Her soft voice called out hoping they wouldn't just ignore her question.

Bu's ears swiveled in the direction of another's voice. Female, possibly a full grown adult, and no hint of hostility...maybe. Bu's profiling skills were mostly on her mother when she was far and was called for. So what she can tell about others, it is based off of what she knows of her mother. The cub smiled and sat down.
"I am here, Limbua."
she replied back, turning her head back in the direction of the voice. It was strange how she didn't inherit any of her parents' colors mostly their design more so. Actually, she has never met her father yet, just her mother and another adult male leopard which she considered, 'handsome' and 'strong'.
"I have given you my name, may I ask for yours in return, m'am?"

Kichea listened, ears held high as she still couldn't see the cub. Upon hearing her voice, she gave a sigh of relief and followed it.
Limbua? Was that the name of one of cubs? Riku has such a big family... It is hard remembering all the names. At least I'm sure it isn't one of mine.
Pushing her way though the thick brush, she finnally managed to find the clearing that the river ran though. "Kich...ea... " Her name came out in breaths as she struggled over a thick bush, almost getting stuck. Smirking as she hopped out of the jungle and into view. Leaves and twigs stuck to her fur but at least she could finnally see the cub. It didn't look like one of Riku's siblings but it might take more studing to find out. "What brings you out to the river, litt'un."

"Oh no reason really, just wanted to explore a bit before the great sun's light no longer peers through the canopy."
She replied as she moved closer to the other female. Twigs, dirt, and leaves were attched to her fur, that is what happens when you trek through these dense tree littered jungles. Reaching out she began to pick the twigs and leaves from the other's fur.
"And what brings you out here? A female should be presentable at all times, who knows when a handsome, nice lookin' male can bust through those bushes and ask you to be his mate."
Yeah, she wished. The only male she knew of and admired were Tego and Nac. But that was only because she never travelled far from them and Tego visits often and Nac was her brother.

She slowly sat down and smiled softly as the young one began helping her clean her fur. Lowering her head she began pulling a couple of short twigs away from her leg. She listened contently, happy to have some company but her head quickly raised with her last comment. Looking to the cub she tilted her head in curiousity. Did young one's even think about things such as mates? It had never crossed her mind before.
" You don't think I'm presentable now? I always thought twigs and leaves added to a lionesses natural beauty." She smirked, "I'm not too worried though, because I already have a mate and one is more than enough. Why would you, being so young, worry yourself with such things as males, anyway?" She stood and moved to the water's edge, looking at her reflection. Riku made for an amazing mate but she wouldn't have even thought about having a mate so young if it wasn't for Nyek forcing them...
"When I was your age all I worried about was where to explore next... That's kind of why I'm out and about right now. Just exploring." She spoke a little softer as she reached her paw into the water and then wiped some dirt from her face. What she said was hardly true... Dispite her love for exploring she always wanted to have others look up to her and now she would do anything just to go back and be herself all those times, she pretended she was someone else.
(( Gotta go now. I'm going on a trip this weekend and won't be able to reply again until Sunday night, possibly Monday. Sorry about the short notice but my mom just got home and informed me. >.> ))

Bu smiled, "Well, I may not be really concerned about a mate right now, but as for boys...well those are different." She started as she stood beside the lioness, picking the twigs and leaves from her. "Well, as much as you would think so, no leaves and twigs does nothing for one's complexsion."
"Boys...they are just so handsome and cute and nice and protective and just...so attractive. How could I not think about them? They are so nice and handsome, they could even be considered a drug to me." she sighed softly and sat down. "They are just so....so....wonderful. All of them." she murmured, staring at her reflection.
"But for now, I am an explorer. That way I can meet more of them and hopefully find a very nice one to play with. Otherwise, they are just others for me to admire, right?" that was her main and formost reason for him to explore. Boys boys boys boys.

Watching her refection as the cub spoke, she listened closely all the while rubbing a spot on her face.
Is that dirt or a spot in my fur? Wait... Did she just say all boys were wonderful?!
Kichea smirked and chuckled half-heartedly wondering just how many boys she had met. Out of the four she had met herself, not including her son, two of them were Nyekundu and Tanaka. They weren't exactly what one would call nice lions and to tell you the truth, Kichea was wary about almost any male she didn't know. "I wouldn't be to sure about that. You have to hold caution on anyone you meet. Everyone has some evil in their hearts and some have more than others. If you don't keep such things in mind you might end up getting hurt." She spoke slowly hoping Bu caught every word.
Finally giving up hope of washing the small spot off her face, she sighed and began walking into the river. She wasn't to sure about how deep it got or how swift the current was but she wasn't really concerned. After all what could go wrong?
Not wanting to loose her company she stopped and looked back to the cub, "Ever been swiming?".

Bu smirked, "Yes, that would be a bit of dirt." she commented, staring down at the other's reflection.
"Be cautious of the males I meet? I have met only two, my brother and uncle Tego. He was a real jerk, called us freaks, my siblings and I." Bu said. Bu could not forget what she did. As soon as the adult leopard turned onto Nac for startling, Bu's body immediately jumped in the way of the two. Was she willing to risk her life for her brother? Of couse she would, right? He was a male, he was family! "I'll...try to keep that in mind."
The female stepped into the water and asked her if she swam before. Well, with a river near the tree where her family slept, of course! However, she doesn't like getting her fur wet at all. She just sat on the water's edge. "I do not wish to swim during this venture. I'd rather perfer to stay dry for the time being, okay?"

" Alright, suit yourself and miss all the fun." Kichea giggled and dove her head underwater. She didn't stay down for but a moment. Of all the waters she had ever swam it they were never moving and it was a bit strange to say the least. Shaking some of the water from her head, she wadded back to a shallower spot, near the shore, where the cub sat and laid down in the water.
Shaking the wet tuft of fur from her eyes she looked back to Bu and tilted her head, studying her for a moment. "So... Where were you planning on going on your adventure next?" Kichea let a smooth smile spread across her face, "Maybe I can help you get there."

Bu shook her head, "No, you don't need to follow me....um....I don't believe I caught your name. Mine is Limbua, daughter of Msuluhivu." she introduced, walking over to her. The hybrid looked up and down the river then to the female's tail, it flows down river so that was where she was going to go.
"I am heading to the lake in the center of the jungle, I once heard it was a place to see in one's life time." her pink paws laced before her, tail curled around them, a smile on her maw. "If you want to then you can if you like."

" Sorry 'bout that." She stood streaching her forpaws before her almost in a bow, " My name's Kichea... I don't really know who my parents are so I guess my title would be... mate of Tamariku." She stood completely and smirked realising she had thought outloud.
She watched the cub with curiosity, wondering if there was somthing different about her. She looked quite a bit like a lion but her movements were almost too smooth. Fluffling the tuft of fur on her head she nodded. "I'd be delighted to follow you on your trip. I havn't anything to do today but explore anyway. Might this be the same lake where the goddess Kiva dwells?" Kichea had been to that lake before but hadn't had the time to explore the others.

"The Goddess....Kivu?"
This changes things. This makes it much more worth it, she was gonna go there and see her. A Goddess? Limbua smiled and swung her tail from side to side.
"Kichea, tell me more about Kivu? She sounds...interesting."
The leoponess asked, walking along the river bank. Perhaps they could talk on the way to the lake that resided in the center of the jungle. She wondered what a Goddess was, her mother told her stories of it once, but she was sort of....day dreaming of other things. Sort of made her wish she was paying attention before. It would have come in handy for future refrences through out her life.

Shaking to get rid of the water that made her fur drip, she took a few quick strides to catch up to Tu. "Well... I've never met Kiva personally but I've heard alot about her. She's the goddess of my pride, Ushirkino Watembezaji, or the Unity Walkers. She is the goddess of unity and has the power to unite creatures and make strong bonds between animals." Kichea moved from the river bank to the forest edge to quickly grab a mouthful of dark blue flowers she could use later. If it was the right lake maybe she could use them as a gift to her goddess. "She's mostly a dark chocolate color but I've heard she has the color and lights of the night sky on her wings. With those wings she can fly too. Just like a bird." Her words were a bit muffled by the flowers as she bounded to catch up again.

Limbua was intregued. A Goddess of Unity. Kivu. She had to meet her, a Goddess! A female who must have been the prettiest by the way Kichea described her. It would be amazing to be able to.
"What are we waiting for?! Come on, lets go see if Kivu is at the lake!"
She spouted as she bounced down the river more toward the lake. She was just too excited for words. The way Kichea described her it was as if she was an angel, a pretty being with no comparison. Limbua smiled gleefully, purring deep down as she bounced along.
"Come on, Kichea, lets go!"
