[ooc| All Malu may join, just a note, a tempest like rainstorm has moved over the Temple, thus it's slightly chilly, kind of dark outside, and very, very wet with high winds. xD]
Chael sighed as he stood at one of the many enterances of the temple, gazing out at the amazingly horrid weather outside. The strong winds made the rain like bullets, stinging if a few managed to hit one's pelt. Shaking his head as his wings folded along his back, he had wished it to be nice outside. It was the first time in weeks he had seen any form of the outside world.
Spending his time researching the location of the secret enterance to the sublevels of the temple, he had almost found out its location....leaving his search go find his partner in crime, only to arrive here. Boy, was he lucky.
Hanging his head, Chael had slightly noticed that he had been growing over the past weeks...yet it still didn't strike the Malu that he had become an adult. It was like some far off idea h couldn't grasp just yet. Oh well.

Amadeus was not sure how he got stranded outside. One second he was in the halls playing with Odyss, and the next thing he knew, he had been chased outside when the storm started, it was hard to find his way back. he hurried to find a door in but with all the rain falling and the sand kicking up into his face, he was finding it more difficult. He still didn’t know his way around
at least Odyss was still in the temple, and from there the little one would at least be able to find his way to the Rose Shrine.
sprinting along the side of the temple, head bowed, eyes open just enough to be able see along the wall, his ears pressed firmly down as to not let sand or water in. the rain was starting to hurt as it beat down agains his small body.
starting to feel very frightened, his worried melted away when he saw an entrance.
”Raah!” he yelled out as he dove for it. hooves clacking against the stone soaking paws sloshing against the ground as me made his way further in to get away from the rain.
He stood soaking for a moment, shuddering and shaking the water off his fur.
He tucked his tail down between his legs and bunched his body a little, shivering slightly
”brrr”
he looked around the entrance, and paused when he noticed that he was not alone.
A larger Male was in there to. His colors where so radiant, that even in the murky gray of the sky he seemed to glow
”um… hello”

Clap clap.
Chael blinked as the sudden sound seemed to snap him out of his daydream, turning his head to look at the soaking wet youngster. Oddly coloured blue eyes shifted to the horrid weather, and then to the other Malu as his ears tilted in curiosity. What on earth was he doing out in the rain? Smiling slightly at the sight of him shiver, Chael took a few steps and proptly layed down beside where the little one remained bunched.
"Fun weather...isn't it?" He mused lightly with a chuckle, tilting his head to the side. "My name is Chael....may I ask what you were doing out there? The rain looks like it would hurt..."

He was nervous at first. Afraid he might have stumbled into a place he was not supposed to be. He flattened his ears back again nervously, but when the Adult lays down next to him he perked them forward again,
instantly leaning closer into Chael’s warm side, tucking his legs firmly underneath himself
”oh yes sir,” he replied respectfully “I didn’t know rain could hurt” Amadeus nipped a couple of times at his own side, it still stung from the rain, leaving a rather painful tingling sensation all over his body.
Lifting his head back he looked up at Chael
”I was playing with a friend… but then I got lost in the storm”
he looked around nervously again “um… is it ok for me to be here?” he muttered blinking his big brown eyes up at Chael.

"I wanted to go outside myself...untill I looked to see this. I figured it wasn't worth the winds and cold rain." He smiled a crooked grin, shaking hsi head lightly. Although he had come from a snow covered region up north....snow and rain were different. Unless it was hail, snow usually didn't hurt or soak you as bad a rain did.
Blinking, Chael looked down to Amadeus with a rather blank stare. Sir....SIR!? Had he really gotten to look that old in such a short time...? His thoughts wandered back to Loki, and Thayne.....where they older like him too now?
"Please please...Sir makes me feel old. Chael will do just fine. Shame though....storms have a habbit of sneaking up on ya." He nodded lightly, folding a paw over the other as they were just close enough to feel the refreshing mist of the rain, yet far enough inside not to get too wet. Raising a brow, his head moved to the left, then to the right before a sheepish grin crossed his muzzle. "I sure hope so. If not, then i'm not even supposed to be here.....and you are..?" The winter hue'd Malu smiled, not remembering hearing this little one's name.

He continued to watch Chael, Turing his gaze onto his Paws when he crossed them, Amadeus blinked, thinking how regal it made the older Malu look.
Struggling for a moment to pull his own front legs out from underneath his damp body, he crossed them as well, glancing from Chael’s to his own to make sure they where right, then he raised his hair a little more putting out his chest a little to sit more “Proper” he wished at once he had not done this. Underneath his body was a lot warmer then out in the open. She shivered again and leaned more into Chael’s body.
He had forgotten to introduce himself. Lowering his ears again he smiled sheepishly “My names Amadeus si- er, I mean, Chael”
he giggled at his near mistake. He was used to saying Sir out of respect to his elders,
”its nice to meet you” he smiled up at him “and if we do get in trouble. We can always try and run, I’m a very good runner” Amadeus added with a proud nod.

Out of the corner of his eyes, Chael noticed as the youngster began to mimic his movements. First the small task of bringing his legs out from under his body, and then his attempt to look 'bigger' by puffing out his hair and chest. It halfed worked, and for that he was impressed...yet it began to make Amadeus cold. Poor guy.
Acting as casual as can be so he wouldn't take away from the little one's 'proper' posture, Chael made a small yawning noise, stretching his wings out before letting them fall over the faun hue'd Malu. Afterall, Chael's fur and body mass was thicker than his, being still only a child.
"Amadeus....It's a nice name you have there. Very strong indeed!" He smiled, continuing on to stretch out his digits for a moment bfore relaxing his paws once again. Laughing lightly at his comment, his assumption that he would turn out to be strong prooved right as the little one asserted his pride in his running skills. "Really? I'm impressed. I was never a very good runner. However....I can bound pretty good, and jump high. When the weather gets nice, you might have to give me some running lessons...if you don't mind."
About to speak once again, he was suddenly interrupted as the sky flashed brightly with a lightning bolt, moments later a tremendously loud thunder rolled and grumbled. This had caused Chael to twitch lightly, his fur raising on end around his neck....yet when he realized nothing had happened...he calmed slightly. "Wow...." He muttered softly.

Thayne jumped slightly as the thunder cracked and shook the ancient temple in its intensity. He had been daydreaming again of when the temple was in its hayday, when the storm hit luckily in the depths of the structure.
In a short span of time Thayne out grew his childhood gawkiness and was of sure foot. This did not mean he never walked into or tripped into anything since his mind was never set on the present but always of the distant past and future.
Shaking his head abit he rounded a corner and ran into his childhood friends Chael and more recent smaller friend Amadeus. Thayne never good with time was suprised to see a full grown Chael sitting in front of him. He still couldn't fathom how much he himself had changed. Where as Amadeus still a child, was under Chael's wing as they layed on the cool temple floor.
"Gods and Goddesses how long it has been since I have seen the two of you! What dreadful weather seems to have rolled in!"
Thayne strode over and sat infront of the other Malu his tail like a fishes going back and forth illustrating his excitement of seeing two good friends.

Amadeus looked down at the wing now covering his body, blinking a couple of times then looking back at Chael,
he felt very proud when Chael complemented him on his running. And was trying to think of ways to actually teach someone to run, when the loud clap of thunder caused him to jump in surprise, turning his head every witch way, ears swiveling around.
”w- wh- what was that?” he whispered.
but Jumped again at the sound of something talking. But when he looked around, he saw another Malu… it took a moment till he actually realized who it was. Mouth falling open slightly he just gaped at the now grown Thayne

Shaking his head lightly in attempts to relaz his risen fur, Chael turned his soft gaze down to Amadeus....seeing the poor Malu unnerved by the intense sound of the storm. "That...was Thunder. Something is going wrong in the world....so the gods grumble and bellow like that to tell everyone." He smiled, remembering the information passed down to him in the same mannor he was giving to Amadeus.
In sync with the little one, Chael also jumped slightly and turned his head back to see another adult Malu stand behind them both with a suprised expression on his face. Frowning slightly, it took Chael a moment or two before his eyes lit up as his own tail began to wag in excitement. "Thayne! Is that you! Man...its been so long....and tell me about it. Amadeus and I decided to hunker out the storm here."
Following with his gaze as one he sat down before them, a silly yet sly grin crossed the winter hue'd malus muzzle. "I've spent all this time searching for clues about the secret enterance to the sublevels....i've almost found them...i'm so close!" A childish excitement was clearly evident in his deepend vocals, "I mean....we never did get to go explore as soon as we had planned..."

Thayne stood up again at the mention of the secret tunnels. He started pacing with excitement as the emotions splashed across his face as one of his goofy grins. Turning back to Chael
"I have dreamed and pondered and thought about what possibilities could be down there ever since that day we planned it...You are gonna have to tell me what you have found, and perhaps I could help this time in finding the final clues!" His own deep voice practically singing out the words in his eagerness.
Thayne sat down again to regain his composure suddenly aware of his seemingly new age. Looking down at the small malu, he cleared his throat and in a grin
"Amadeus! What have you been up to of late? Have you met any new friends? How has the old man been with his roses?"

Amadeus watched the two for a moment, ears forward in interest.
Tilting his head to the side and looking up at Chael “Sublevels?” he inquired
whatever they meant, they both seemed to be really excited about it. all the more reason Amadeus wanted to know.
She looked back at Thayne at the next question. He thought for a moment
”oh!” he exclaimed and nodded “Vivaldi’s doing fine, always fussing over his shrine, barely leaves it anymore” he cocked one ear back.
”But he took in another little guy. His name is Odyss, so I’ve been playing with him a lot. oh, oh! And we met another really little one named Enoa. She’s cute, but kind of have a rough side to her” he wrinkled his muzzle remembering how she stuffed sand up his nose. He giggled
”what about you?” he asked “and how did you get so biiiiig”
feeling very small indeed he tried to puff up a little more. Sitting a little straighter

Loki walked up to the door silently. His feet made not a noise on the stone as he approached the door. He seemed old, and young at the same time. His body was short of being considered adult. Though his mind held the feeling as though it had aged.
Loki's regular mischief around the shrines, and everywhere else for that matter, had ceased to exist shortly after his shrine desecration. His eyes had deep pools underneath them, a light residue of dust as though he hadnt done much grooming in a very long time settled on his fur. He looked at the rain quietly as though it were something utterly foreign to him.
At that moment, he didn't seem to even realise anyone else was there. His demon wings were folded neatly against his back, them too holding a layer of dust. Technically, he was the same age as Chael and Thayne. Though he looked younger as though something prevented his growth.

Chuckling softly as his head turned side to side to watch the pacing Thayne, ever the curious explorer. "Settle down Thayne...you're like a child who's discovered honey for the first time." He laughed lightly, before a wild grin came to his muzzle.
"I've found out, that the secret location is in a hallway with no end, and no beginning. The hallway is consumed in shadows, which can only be discovered when one can find the stone of shadow....which is rumored to be located where faith and reality meet in the form of death. It is there....where one will gain acess to the sublevels..." Chael spoke in a serious tone, his memory speaking of what he had spent a majority of his childhood looking for. Turning to Amadeus he mused at the youngster's curiosity...it was exactly like Thayne and himself.
"The sublevels are a dark and mysterious city under the temple...its rumored that Malu who believe in the gods of sin. These gods of sin are said to be devils masquerading as dieties...yet the Malu would follow them to the afterlife. Many creatures roam there too...its a dangerous world down there. Or so it's told...."
Chael told, somewhat proud that he knew so much about it. Listening to the elders speak, reading upon anchient carvings in the wall....all of that fascinated him. As the two began to talk about things which they had experienced together, Chael turned his attention back out to the rain as he really didn't know what they were talking about. It was then something caught his attention out of the corner of his eye; a figure laid down. Turning his gaze fully to the Malu...his eyes widened as the familliar figure registered into his mind. That....was Loki.
"Loki..."
Chael spoke softly, barely above a whisper as he stood from beside Amadeus and walked slowly over to the still youngster. It seemed impossible....when they had first met he was so adead of him, so in tune with his body and mind. Even when they were youngsters, the one time he managed to see him with Thayne...the youth was still so ahead of his peers. Now....matted and tired, he seemed like an elder trapped in a youth's body. Stepping up beside him, Chael had first feared Loki...the youth and his older sister had given him a fright. Yet now...he was wiser, and knew all too well from their last meeting that there were many shapes to a someone. Lowering his head lightly, he used his muzzle to gently stroke against his side and back as if to remove the dust. Speaking lightly as his own 'demonic' wings tucked against his back.
"Loki....what happened to you..."

Thayne promptly sat down after Chael jokingly chided him. His own grin mirroring Chael's. And if possible grew larger with the fairytale like clues spoken by the now serious Malu. His grin did not lessen with the warnings of danger his excitement so great.
He couldn't even speak his mind twisting and turning trying to remember the paths and tunnels he had mapped down in his head for his god. It was moments like these that defined his faith in his god to reveal a path. Many times over his youth, Thayne would sit lost in the middle of the temple not knowing where to go and his god would come to him in different forms such as a light at the end of one tunnel or the cool breeze from another.
Thayne jumped at Chaels utterence of 'Loki' so lost in his thoughts. He slowly stood up and walked cautiously over to the dust ridden and tired looking Malu.
Soberly "Oh Loki....."
