Username: !esrev-eR Character Name: Kinjo, Atora Age: 500 Rank: Ao-Andon Background: Kinjo, Atora. A young male who was originally supposed to be sent to the August Star with the Ki'mei demons from the Sengoku Jidai, however he chose to repent at the last seconds for the sins he commited. The many, many lives he took were taken out of his flesh. The blood stained hands were ripped from his body again, and again, only to come back crimson. Yet, he already knew one hell. The bloody battle fields, the strench of corpses. He remained sane - or perhaps he was insane to begin with? During his tortures, he cried out in pain - and yet he did not flee from his repentance. Within the depths of Yomi, he would often look up at the portal to Takamagahara with hope in his eyes. In his heart, however, he resigned himself to the fate which he knew he couldn't escape. It was only in the past decade he accepted the role of an Aoandon, and one of the most respected guards for Izanami and her Ladies,

Username: The Drunken Neko Character Name: Alexander Hauru Age: 550 (appears 23) Rank: Negoro No Ushioni Background: Alexander's story is a tragic one. After losing his wife in childbirth, Alexander saw his son as a priceless treasure. He loved his only child more than life itself, and proved to be a wonderful father to the boy. He raised him with good morals, and gave hi mthe best education a single father could. They were a poor duo, but they were happy; content with life.
This existance of bliss only lasted a short 8 years. While walking home late one evening with his son from school, they were mugged. The man who robbed them in the alley was clearly mental. He held the boy hostage to bribe the wallet from Alexander's back pocket, only to slay the helpless youth after recieving the pocketbook without any resistance.
Alexander went into a blind rage. To say he killed the man would have been an understatement. He tortured the man in that alley more ruthelessly than any human should have been capable of. The loss of his only treasure sent Alexander off the edge of sanity into the depths of psychotic rage. Sadly, the wound Alexander had recieved proved fatal, and he died alongside the prone from of his one and only child.
He was sent to the depths of Yomi with the intent of purging his sins. However, the psychosis never truely left him, and after experiencing the delicious torture he could inflict upon other wrongdoers, he chose to stay. After 550 years, the man eventually numbed himself to the pain of the loss of his son, though he never truely forgot the boy in spite of his twisted mentality.

Username: Inarii Character Name: Nunu Age: 619 Rank: Castle Worker (Undesignated position, kitsune) Background: Nunu had once found himself an esteemed Reiko, a kitsune bearing seven proud tails and powerful magic gracing the moutains in the service of the goddess Inari and occassionaly offering assistance to the Shrine Of The Heavens below his clan's home. For one reason or another, the mountains eventually found his wrath, the fox having lost his mind in the most dramatic of manners. Whatever caused the breakdown was erased from existance, as the fox's wild magic scorched his mountain home and anything upon it into nothingness or something one would be decidedly unwilling to approach, causing several rockslides, quakes and storms in the process. At one point, the fox simply wore himself out in his rage and perished upon the mountaintop, alone and confused.
Nunu awoke to the fiery hell of Yomi, facing repetance for a long, long time. Unfortunately, any wounds inflicted upon his spirit and body could not match the damage to his psyche, and upon paying for his sins, particularly with the mutilation and loss of four of his tails, the fox remained in the abyss of Yomi of his free will.
Since his "employment," Nunu has proved himself a poor worker to any assigned task. When designated something to do, he quickly grows bored and wanders off, perhaps to cast his illusions upon some hapless spirit to cause it to wander into a lake of fire, or to taunt the less powerful creatures around him. After his punishment, Nunu has grown ever more emotionally unstable, his moods flipping back and forth at the slightest provocation, often found speaking to himself or otherwise interacting with nonexistant beings. Perhaps illusions even he can't separate from reality.
((Hope this is alright, thought Nari might bring in a slightly different denizen of the dark))
