Notoka looked from Silva to Lera slowly, then raised his head to scent the wind, trying to remember exactly which direction he had come from so long ago when he was just a pup, willing his memory to recall his past.
The wind carried nothing that struck him as familiar to his old home grounds, but in his moment of nostalga, he was able to remember that he had lived across the river and had crossed via a fallen tree over the shallows at one point.
Shall we go? he said, turning to look at the she-wolves. He was unaware of Lera's problem.

Lera made up her mind, and took her plac besides, but slightly behind, Notoka, opposite from Silva. Lera nodded, "I am ready" she said.

Silva pressed her nose on Notoka's flank; Lead on, she said.

Notoka turned towards the north and the scent of fresh water, trusting his recent memory to lead him back to the river he visited frequently. From there it would be difficult...he only had memories of his puphood to rely on.
Then lets go, he said determinedly as he started to move, knowing the other two would follow and thus did not need to turn to check.

Lera's stomach lurched as a rush of adrenaline began to thicken her nlood. Her chest heaved as she sprinted forward. Her hot breath clouded in front of her, as her eyes flashed with a certain night time luminescents.

Silva ran along beside Notoka, her long, legs moving in an easy gait. Her tongue lolled out the side of her mouth, and her ears tracked every sound that could be heard as the small group moved.

He ran easily around the trees, his powerful legs churning and kicking up leaves as he went. It had been awhile since he'd done any real running, but one would never be able to tell with how strongly his paws gripped the earth...how fast his legs flew forward to eat another stride of ground.
The male lead them deep into the woods, away from the clearing, but there would be familiar scents all over the place of other wolves that had pass through the area they were moving through.

(( sorry for delay - was getting into mah jammies lol ))
Silva's nose was assailed by the many smells from the wood, damp, foliage and the occasional taint of prey and lingering wolf smell. The undergrowth was thick, and paws had to be placed carefully so as not to snarl on roots.

Notoka kept moving and soon the scent of the river hung heavy in the air. At least they were getting close to that.

The sound of fast rushing water reached Silva's ears as she continued to pad alongside Notoka, the scent of damp reeds and rocks assailing her nose.

Lera had heared the water as she ran, and thought nothing of it. She hadlways enjoyed the water, fishing and swimming in the shallow slow moving areas. Yet as the forest cleared and the river came into view Leradien felt a dizzy spell overcome her. The water seemed to be a dark, murky pool of feircly rushing water, as if a huge beast was about the drag Lera in. Her stomach churned as her view spinned. Lera was thrown into might be a cold sweat (if she was human) and felt as if her legs were going to give underneath her. Lera acciendenally reached out with her mind, Touching both Notoka's and Silva's for her own mental stability. Just as if a wounded would leaned on another wolf for support. Her eyes were wide with fright, her jaw hanging.

Notoka was not entirely aware of Lera's current state of mind but was aware that she had extended herself to his own brain. He shrugged it off though and kept moving. The farther they got before night fall, the better.
He slowed as they neared the water, his ears perked.
((ugh, I suck. Sorry guys...things have been really shitty lately))

(( *pats* its ok - we understand 3nodding ))
Silva's fur prickled and rose at this invasion and she grumped a little to herself. She listened as well, slowly and stopped at Notoka's side, her nose twitching. 'Listening for anything in particular?' she asked, her body tensed for unexpected flight.

((*clings to Jade* heart ))
Lera just watched as the two neared the water. Lera shuddered as she kept her distance, taking a breather and taking the chance to look away from the water. A few seconds of personal reflection poured into her head. At one point in time Lera would have crossed the waters to save a friend, at one time she held no fear. But now....was this one of the side effects of being a seer?
Lera turned her head to Silva as she spoke, perking her own ears to listen anything.
