I talked of this in the Skype chat earlier.
A set of three threads, one of each next gen console. Created, run, and supported by the ERVGD and it's regulars. Each one containing every bit of information possible about each console, and organized in the same format and so that it's easily accessible and even linkable. With the massive amount of bullshit that goes through the forum daily, the goal of these threads would be to curb the misinformation and whatnot that many of us deal with on a daily basis and help clean up this mess of a forum which we love so dearly.
It's a working concept. And I will require all of your input and assistance in working the idea it into perfection, and then into reality. I will not work on this alone, and I alone will not head it. Everyone will have a part in this. And, if we work at it, we can surpass the usefulness of the stickies themselves.
Thoughts? Ideas? Criticisms?

Hmm I like the sound of that. ^^
Maybe there should be three mods for each thread.
But the thread its self is A mule made speficly for THAT thread.
That way any of the mods can log onto it and.
-Update
- Add Trolls and Spammers to the mules ignored list blocking all there post.

but I think that we should make mock up threads first in the the subgaming forum here before we do anything
very good idea

Nice idea, but the mods would most likely take it down for being "rant" threads.

I think the biggest problem is that people will just try to turn each one of them into a console wars debate. It's very difficult to shoo people away from that subject.
I'd be willing to help out though. Probably in the Wii department, because that's what I know the most about.

I'd be willing to help out though. Probably in the Wii department, because that's what I know the most about. Simple, if they start a console war or start talking about a console that isnt included Black List them and put them on the ignored list so they cant post

Sounds good. I'd be willing to help kick a**, and pwn in any of those threads, although I know by far the most about the Wii. Sorreh D= I'm willing to help in any way I can. After my main thread hangout got moved, and now.. just doesn't seem worth it, I'm willing to devote much more time to a new one. <3 I'm willing to hang around and do stuff like photoshop for banners and such, and anything else that I can help with. ^^

I can't find it 'directly' stated, but I have plenty of reasons to believe it's the case.
The official wii site is divided into regions. North+Latin America is a region. Under it are North America(English), Canada(French), and LA(Spanish). They're really just language differences, not different sites. The Canada one just redirects you to the English NA one after the front page. If they treat the three exactly the same on the site, surely the launch will too.
