Cosa was cooooming! Cosa was coooooming! The little meerkat was bouncing around the house like a bunny on crack, more cheerful then he normally was and, for the first time since Patrick arrived, not acting like someone just kicked his puppy in the face with a steel-toed boot.
Patrick, for one, was rather pleased. Some of the other kids has syphered off with their friends for sleepovers as well (it was in the air!) so the house had some space left to home his sons friend. Boxes were stacked high against the wall in the living room and in many of the rooms as well, but the meerkat didn't care - he was streaking through to the kitchen like his tail was on fire.
"DAWDIE. When's he gonna get here?!"
"I dunno, kiddlet. Calm down." An affectionate finger poked the boy on the forehead, earning himself a chitter, and Akilah darted back into the living room. To wait. Raowr.

"And you're sure you have everything ?" Jacosa still heard Ranjit's voice in his head and rolled his eyes. Yes, he had everything for the sleepover. The toothbrush, the pyama, the magazine... The otter grinned at the thought of the magazine as he stepped in front of Akilah's door. They'd have fun and play some videogames or so.
Carefully he pushed onto the bell.

Akilah didn't make it to the door first - his older brother did. The woodpecker-thing smacked his brother away lightly, pulling the door open with an arched eyebrow.
"Hey." Came the mild, nasal voice. Keelah whined and grabbed Iamels shorts, pulling at them angrily.
"Iamel! He's MY friend. Go away to YOUR friends!" The meerkat growled, shoving his older brother away from the doorway. He huffed even more when all Iamel did was laugh and saunter off. "...sorry. He's a jerk. C'min? It's kinda a mess - we're mving again and there's boxes everywhere."

Jacosa was a bit confused as Iamel opened the door, but just as he was about to say hello he noticed Akilah and grinned. "Hey Keela. No problem, I've got siblings too." Quickly he wiped his feet on the door mat and entered the house. "Why are you moving again ?" The otter asked as he tried to avoid running against some boxes.
His dark eyes looked around curiously. The houses of other people were always very interesting and this house was more than interesting because it contained many people. "Where can I put my stuff ?"

"Cause we have to MANY kids and Dawdie wants his own bedroom." The child nodded wisely, pushing some boxes out of the way. "And 'Mel is bigger, so he doesn't fit no more in his bed, so he needs a bigger bed an's easier to get a new house then a new bed, he said."
The meerkat bounced happily, grabing at Cosa's sleeve and pulling. "My room! Cept it's your room tonight!" And off he went, bouncing down the hallway. "C'mon!"

The otter nodded to Keela's words, although he didn't understand why the daddy wanted his own room. Andraste and Ranjit shared one as well and they weren't even married. His mother stressed that fact all the time !
"When we moved, I got to choose everything in my room. Will you get new stuff too ?" It didn't actually appear to him that he received a new bed because he grew as well.
Following with his stuff he moved into Keela's room and looked around. "I like it." He dropped his bag on the bed and examined his surroundings.

"I dunno. I might. I know Iamel's gonna be moving into his treehouse. He's getting one and just... putting his stuff in there. So I might get new stuff to make up for more room or.. something. We have lots of babies. They need stuff first."
Akilah grinned, fwumping onto his bed. "What do you do at your house? Dawdie likes to distract us with violence, so we have tons of video games, board games and stuff like that." The meerkats legs swung, face knotted up in contemplation. "And... sports video games. Not so violent. We got basket balls and soccer balls for real outsides."
