A long winding hallway, circleing the upper floor of the dorm building. The walls are ornate, dark brown wood trimmed in rose colored paneling, tiny golden flowers etched into the border. The floors are plush red carpet, and the identical doors with their brass plates were dark maple wood, with shining gold knobs that were free of dust and fingerprints. The lights hang from the walls, giving the hall a soft lighting, adding to the overall romantic and elegant feel of the building.

As the two females arrived at the dorm hallway, Lindsay's eyes looked down to the carpet, then slowly looked over the area. It was just as beautiful as it was last year. She had grown used to it last year, but after being gone from it for a couple of years and returning to the dull carpets and hardwoods of her home, she had missed the elegant designs at the school. "Fun? Course! You get to talk to people, stay up late, party. If you don't get caught, of course." She winked towards the other.
"How do you like this place so far? From looks alone." She asked, half of her attention currently on the plates attatched to the doors. Only then had she realized that they were still hand-in-hand from when she had grabbed her. So she quickly let go of it, not wanting to advance much too quickly on the poor girl.

Miruka stood outside the dorm room. She was awed at the mere splendor of the area. She sighed turning to her with a nod. " Anything during the day? " she asked, that was mainly night things. She tended to be alone and sleep at night other then partying. Just looking at the carpets, they seemed brighter. Her old schoolswere always dull tile. Or crappy stained carpet. Those schools she had been to were cheap. I mean real cheap. Even the books, the new ones, were in horrid condition.
" It's nice, elegant... " she said softly to the girl. She sighed slightly. " Well since we're going to be roommates, would you like to...talk? " she said. She would have to end up showing her wings to Lindsay, since she was able to see her tail and ears, it only made sense. Well, in Miruka's mind it did at least. Common courtesy was a law she seemed to follow intentively.

When they stopped in front of their dormroom Lindsay began to fish around in her bag for her key. "Umm. Work, I guess. Lots of places to hang around, depending on what you like. The courtyard's pretty nice, there's the gym, or we could just stay in our rooms.." She wasn't really sure what the other girl found fun, so it was hard to make a list. Activities varied from person to person, but the neko was mostly a party girl, and a big socializer. She was always talking with someone, or flirting with someone else.
"Yeah, it really is." She murmered in a tone that sounded as though she were off in her own little world. Her eyes looked around a little bit before settling on Mikura's face once more. "That's what we're doing right now, no?" She asked, her lips curving up into a smile as her fingers brushed across the surface of her key. "Got it." She declared, pulling it out and shoving it into the door. She unlocked the door and opened it for the other girl, holding it open. "Welcome to your new home."
