I went to the Play concert in Philadelphia, back in August.
Casual is pretty much standard. There was at least one person there dressed like a character, no less. And I hear there were 'many' people dressed like characters at the DC concert(since it was the same weekend as an anime convention, and a lot of people went straight there from the con)
Important people are going to be at your concert? Nobody meaningful appeared at mine. They just showed us a quick video of Uematsu and another of Kondo, both just giving a basic "enjoy the concert!"
Damn, just casual? Sonnuvabitch, I wanted to dress up in my nice tuxedo... Ah well, I'll just wear my Nintendo Rehabilitation shirt
heart Thanks a TON though Aeris, you're a lifesaver. We honestly have had no idea what the dress code was for the longest time.
Anyways, we've got Nobuo Uematsu coming (WOOO!!!
heart ) and some other Japanese composer, though I don't know what games he makes music for. If you go to the main site, it'll tell you his name, can't remember it off the top of my head
