I was just wondering if Sai was or not. So there would be a team 7. Like can there even be just two people on a team?

Well, before he was just a substitute. But now I do think he's part of Team 7. Team 7 is has like a family relation between the team members. So when Sai became someone important and appreciated by Naruto and Sakura is as if he became at that moment a true member of Team 7. I look at this as if being in considered a member in Team 7 when you are part of the family. That's my way of looking at it.

I think he's just a temporary adition until Sasuke comes back. If Sasuke did come back, Naruto and Sakura would probably accept him back imediatly. Then Sai'd probably just hang out with them from time to time.

I think Sai is part of the team now. He may have those times. (Gotta love his p***s jokes. XD) But I think he still is. Sasuke isnt' coming back is what I think.

Yo-It--=Shad=- I think Sai is part of the team now. He may have those times. (Gotta love his p***s jokes. XD) But I think he still is. Sasuke isnt' coming back is what I think. I think he'll die...still, is hard for me to imagine him returning. I do think he'll return I mean...Naruto will surely bring him to his senses...I mean, is Naruto. Naruto beats sense into anyone.

Sai was just a replacement and he still pretty much is, but now he has somemore importance and is accepted by Naruto and Sakura better making him more of a team member.

Well Sasuke is probaly going to be killed or become the next sound kage. And Sai will probaly.

The whole Sasuke dying thing, I dont believe. I really dont see it at all. Maybe him becoming Kage of the Sound. But it seems a bit crack. Sai though became a true member of Team Seven the moment he decided against killing Sasuke. The moment that he acknowledge the bond between the two he showed his humanity and the he could really be a part of the team. All in all, I believe that if Sasuke comes back. Which I think he will, Sai may return to the ANBU or Sasuke may. Depends. One of them will leave peacfully but I see Sai remaining a part of the team for ever even if he does decided to join ANBU again. -shrugs- but thats just me.

--The Trusty Sidekick-- I see Sai remaining a part of the team for ever even if he does decided to join ANBU again. -shrugs- but thats just me. My thoughts as well. Like I said, I believe the phrase "being part of Team 7" is when a bond is formed between the members. Which is something that Sai has developed with Naruto and Sakura.

I'd say so. He started out as Sasuke's official "replacement" but he has now been accepted by both Sakura and Naruto.
I actually hope he stays a part of his team even if when Sasuke comes back. It'll make Team 7 even more wonky. heart

I can see Sasuke and Sai getting along badly if he comes back. Sai's all into making friends while Sasuke's antisocial.

Well Sai is a replacement for team 7, but in most missions they won't be together for every mission.

'team 7' a verry loosely used term, yes in the begining the start off in their 4 man squad, however at the end i get curious, a mission whi ino, shino, (shiino rox!!) and naruto. so i tihnk that the term is used to losely, i don't think that there is a defenat squad, i think that even tohugh he is temporary, so are all grops that go out, so i tihnk it counts.
