I think sai's justu (sp?) is so cool where the animals come out of the paper. I wonder if he ever names them.... I wonder if he can do a bunny! I haven't seen the sai chpaters yet but i know somewhat about him. and from what i've heard he sounds cool

Yeah I think that the animals are just going to dissappear as soon as he doesn't need them. And he has to draw them before he 'summons' them.

I guess they havn't discovered it then. Either that, or they just didn't want to.
Just cause someone can use a Sharingan doesn't mean they have to know every jutsu.

I bet he does. He got the sharingan around 12-13. And he's older by atleast 10 years. So all he has to do is meet up with some enemies.
And there are only three sharingan users, Kakashi, Sasuke, and Itachi. Sasuke can't copy it because he still didn't see it face to face. Only back to face.
Kakashi..why would he copy a jutsu that was his comrades?
Itachi...I can see him copy it.

it;s the ink. sai makes a special ink, on special paper, wich chakra, that pulls them to life, sharinga may be able to copy the sighns for the chakra, but the ink and paper you would need to look through his stuff (proabroably been burned it's mostlikly all in his head) find the information, go to the ends of the earth to get it all, then make your animals. He had major advantages for this, VIA root.

Hm...good point. But analiyzing the paper and ink would be easy if you knew the right stuff.

he most likely disn't leave it lying areound for offencive, and defencive reasons, like sharingan, if somone found a way to copy the sharingan, who ever was going to tell sauske whatever would tell person X, aka the spy. leaving it lying around probly isn't somthing he does ofter, i'm sure that the ANBU have that guarded. it's like his signature, plus analysation would shurely be covered up, and well hiden incase of an atack. that's like Hinata's laser chakra, you wouldn't leav the sighns laying around to be copied, you do them quickly, so the average person can;t sopy it, and sent it off to their malitia.

Personally I think he has to use paper and that ink if he wants to make those animals...or in the comic...people.
