Okay, so my boyfriend just recently bought a hot tub. We both are wanting to have sex in it but I have a question before we do. So obviously we can't use a condom in water but I was wondering if maybe the chlorine would kill his semen or something. I know its a really dumb question but I still want to know.

It'd be very, very unlikely that you'd get pregnant from sperm in the water. However intercourse with his p***s inside you while in the water is another story. Anytime sperm gets in your v****a (even with a condom), you risk getting pregnant. It'd probably be better to just avoid having sex in the hot tub.
Not to mention that apparently getting water in the v****a can be painful and dangerous, but don't quote me on that.

Yesh, I'd say use a diaphram and get on pills if ur not! They have a lot of benefits besides keeping you from getting pregnant. And I'd day that people have had sex in water before so maybe it's not a bad experience? Well, just use precautions, I guess if you are really looking forward to it.

I said I wasn't sure. I might be wrong. It'd probably be a good idea to ask a doctor and get a professional opinion. Ask if water in the v****a is dangerous/painful. Having intercourse in a hot tub is no different from having intercourse on a bed or on the floor. The chances are only reduced if he ejaculates outside of your v****a, because in that case it's very unlikely the semen will float through the water, up into your v****a, etc. I meant you could still get pregnant if you had unprotected intercourse with his p***s actually inside you.

Ive used a condom in the water before. Only problem would be the increased friction. Just make sure to be careful in the heat of things: cant breathe underwater. Dont have unprotected sex, it honestly a stupid descision. It puts you at risk of a hell of a lot of stds, not only pregnancy. Use a condom, just make sure that it fits like its supposed to, if it comes off in the water then its the wrong make or size. I know that I also had a problem with the "mesh" texture condoms coming off to easil.

The heat of the water doesn't compromise the durability of the condom? I would presume that with the heat of the water combined with the friction from sex, that the condom would be much less effective than if used normally.
