Suggested Weapon: Dragon or Water elemental weapons
Suggested Armor: Armor that has good Fire resistance or dragon if you happen to come across one like the Hornetaur
Weaknesses: Head, Tip of tail, Sonic Bombs will surprise it for a moment, Any bombs that are ignited will make it stop moving for a moment but will automatically send it into Pissed Off mode, Weak against Dragon and Water.
Strengths: Has high Fire resistance, some lightning defense.
Fighting Tips: Simple little creature that at the begginning can scare the hell out of a guy. The Yian Kut-ku can be easily dodged if you know what it will do. It's blast isn't all that great either since it has such a short range. You can though, crotch this monster (attack underneath it) as long as you are closer to its back end since its running move won't affect you there.
Predicting its moves: If it seems to be walking in place than there is a high chance it will run. If it turns around really quickly it will also have a high chance of running but also a chance that it will fly towards you, but if it turns slowly then there is a chance it will either shoot you, fly, or bite you. Shooting is the highest possibility. It's pissed when it jumps in the air with its wings flapping and flames coming out of its mouth.
Description: The little pink bird. It may not look that fearsome nor is it fearsome in any way, but since it is classed as a wyvern you have to take caution with you. Very small compared to other wyverns and somewhat faster too. Usually killed for fun by experienced Hunters for some unkown reason.
Carves: Kut-Ku Ear, Giant Beak, Kut-Ku Scale, Kut-Ku Webbing, Kut-Ku Shell

The Kut-Ku dosen't have that much life and is not that powerfull. It has multipule ways of stuning it for short periods of time such as using bombs, flash bombs, and sonic bombs it also gets cought in all typs of traps. It is faster then other wyverns making it a little harder to hit but a lot of people kill it on their first try.

But seriously... The ONLY way I can see you losing to Kut-Ku is if you get knocked into a corner and stunned. That or you have no thumbs.

some how i work myself into a corner. but hey I'm sorry I'm a noob and as I said I do suck hell once in a while the Gendorm or the Gaidorm sends me back to camp. (not the Valicadorm I always own him ^_^

I remember when I had to bring everything I had just to kill this thing in Mh1 for Ps2.

Ahhh... the good ol ps2 monster hunter. When I first fought that sucker on that, it was THE greatest battle ever. ( Didnt have whetstones with hunters knife sweatdrop ) I got it on my first try though but just barely. Fire spit+ Tackle+corner+Fire spit= Owned.

ku-kut is one of the weakest monster so just use hammer smash hes head
