do you think it would be cool if you could have the choice to chose what time and date to go into a mission? like i could go on a mission on monday at 3:57 in the morning. and different days and times have pro's and cons. like the president of a company is there and you can not come in contact with him, so you go in on the weekends, or after work hours. and like security is lower during work hours. wadda think?

yes. and like bonus objectives are only avaliable at a certain time, and you can stay in game for a few days before game over. like to complete a key objective, you have to be there say thursaday at noon, but you want to bonus objective, so you go in on monday, complete that, crawl in a vent, and wai it out or something.

Well, if you were to go during work hours - - what kind of benefit would that provide? Wouldn't that make you more easy to see?
Also, speaking on a computer basis, how "fast" would your computer have to be to be able to maintain the behavior with all the actors in the game during a work day? My computer lags when I peak the interest of more than four guards at a time, but I have a slow computer.
And finally, where is the realism in being allowed to choose your time of day? Doesn't Sam normally go to work the moment he needs to, not when he wants to? Maybe if the format of the game was changed to make you a freelance thief or something, it would make more sense.
I think it's a cool idea, but it doesn't really work with the idea of the game, in my opinion.

Sometimes Sam has no choice. Like at the end of PT Soth was gonna bomb LAX, so Sam couldn't really choose when to be there, he had to get there ASAP. That's someone at Echelon's decision, like Lambert or Grim. They know what to do and usually when you go on certain missions you do it at a specific time for a specific reason. PT You had to get to the camp to intercept Sadono's code calls. Like I said above, you had to be at the airport BEFORE the bomb goes. CT You go to Japan to eavesdrop on Shetlanda meeting, then the next mission the warroom. The specific time is right before the meetings start. So, yeah. Fisher is the best of the best, and is only called in when things are at their most desperate. Like diffusing a bomb, rescueing someone (morgenholt) eavesdropping on a meeting, and collecting intelligence. So he has to do it as soon as possible, the only time he waits around is for dark, so he is more invisible. Sorry if I seemed a little repetitive.... sweatdrop

That'd be an interesting option for any missions that weren't time-critical, but I'd think that it'd be hell to program.
