There are two main methods to get rid of the wild gamey flavor, my favorite is soaking the meat in milk for a few hours in the fridge. After pulling it out to grill it, cook/grill it it the way you normally would any steak. I prefer lawry's seasoned salt and lawry's garlic salt. Or else you can also soak it in any marinade like terriaki, hawaiian, mesquite, etc..

How did they taste? Did you like them? I happen to love deer meat and have a bunch of recipes. Ground Deer meat makes wonderful chili, but you have to add a bit of suet or lard with the meat so that fries up properly.

Sadly, I missed this one.

Next time you have venison steaks, try this:

Marinade the steaks in Worchestershire Sauce and a Berry Flavored Wine. The alcohol will cook out, but the meat will be very tender. This also works well with Venison roasts.

I grew up in Wyoming, we ate a lot of Antelope meat. sweatdrop
