Chomp, crumble, chomp, chomp. Pause.... chomp, crumble, chomp, chomp.
Ryker worre the most contented expression his little face had in a long, long time as he paused to dunk the cookie finger-tip deep into the wide brimmed glass of milk Pukio had provided him with before setting him off on the outdoors at the front of the mansion. Pukio had 'Important Things to Discuss With The Kitchen Pantry,' whatever that meant. Whatever. Ryker was more than happy to sit on the front steps and eat his milk-dunked cookies, particularly if it meant getting the crumbs and the milk all over the front of his clothing. Maybe if he stained the stupid things bad enough, Pukio wouldn't make him wear it. Ryker was getting tired of getting stuffed into these cutesy outfits with their animal heads and footies. It was sort of hard to walk. At least they didn't have mittens too.
The little dark haired boy stuffed one of milk soggied cookies into his mouth, cheeks bulging a little as he chomp, chomp, chomped it. Hnng. At least the day was nice; and here he might just run into someone coming to visit long enough to coerce them into helping him out of these stupid pajamas so he might run and be free - that sort of thing.
That, and make Pukio irritable. Ryker giggled around his cookie, which resulted in a violent coughing fit and the need to clumsily drinks down a few swallows of the crumbified milk.

((-kicks her annoying 'rents- sorry it took so long to reply.))
It was supposed to be a short trip to the mansion today. GO there, drop off a book, and go home. Flitch wasn't expecting to see anyone at the mansion today, and to be honest, he was half-hoping to not run into anyone he knew. He kind of wanted to hurrry home today, what with a new baby home and all. Hell, he wasn't much expecting anyone here anyways. There seemed to be fewer and fewer people around.
Yet he was surprised to see someone on the steps, eating cookies and milk in... er... well hed never seen anyone eat food that messily before. He frowned slightly, then shrugged, nonetheless continuing his advances towards the todder. The kid looked kinda familiar... Perhaps they'd met.
"Hullo," Flitch said with a grin as he approached the steps, his face split into a friendly smile.

Utterly taken up with his cookies, milk, and the horrible state of his dress, Ryker hadn't noticed Flitch's approach until the older boy had called up. Slowly, the bear ears on his hoodie flopping slightly with the movement, he craned his head upward and directed his attention away from the brim of his glass to the stranger.
Munch, crumble, chomp, chew.
"Ai," he said through a mouthful of cookie which may or may not have been a greeting mangled by his full cheeks. Ryker lifted the cup with both hands, slupring at the milk in an attempt to wash down the mouthful of crumbs and chocolate bits, clearing his throat a little when he was finished.
"'Oo're you?"

"Flitch," he responded, settling himself down on a step by Ryker. He wasn't plannig to stay long, so he figured a chat would be fine, so long as it was kept a bit short. "How about you? I don't quite recognize you..."
And how could he? The funny little animal suit was new to him. Having never seen anyone else in an animal suit like the toddler's, Flitch deducted it was probably just some trademark of his. Everyone liked their little trademarks...

"Ryker," the little boy managed between cookies as they crumbled, crumbled, crumbled over his front. He paused, dipping a final cookie into his glass of milk before speaking again. "Wah'oo doeein?" Other than walkin' about with a book and stuff, anyway. Besides, he could just outright ask this kid to help him out of pajamas. That would lack tact. A severe lack of subtlelty a--
None of that actually occured to Ryker as he nibbled on his last cookie. He barely waited for his new aquiantence to answer the question before he'd moved right on to the next section which was: "C'n help take th' bhaaaaer offame?" Frowning, Ryker lifted both hands and tugged at the pajama's ears before making a motion to the zipper in the back that he couldn't...quite...reach.

A small shrug slid from Flitch's narrow shoulders in response. "Not much. Just returning a book I borrowed..." He was going to ask what he was up to, but it seemed he was just eating those cookies. Eating them and making as much a mess as possible, it seemed.
At the questoin, Flitch blinked. "bhaaaaer?" he repeated, unable to quite make out what Ryker's cookie-filled mouth had said. Oh, wait. Bear. He wanted out of the bear costume. "Oh, the bear costume? Sure." Flitch moved a step upwards, where he could easily reach the zipper, and then reached up and undid said zipper, allowing the toddler to escape from the filthy costume. "There you go."
