[[ Sappy title XD ]]

It actually had taken Andraste quite a while to realize that Neva was something special. Not just that she was silent and always in a strange state of indifference, but when she had looked at the newspaper this morning she had noticed a small little advertisement. It was an organization called ... well, she had forgotten the stange name quickly again, but the woman had made the way towards the Legend's headquarter.

Opening the door she peered inside. Neva was cradled in her arms and just watched the mother's movements. The green eyes moved only slightly as Andraste sighed and tried to get a good impression of this building. Somehow she had the feeling that Neva belonged here, she just didn't know why. So the woman waited.

"Iya, stop wiggling," a voice complained, accompanied by irritated infant screeches. "Iya, no-OW! Watch those claws, boyo. Ow! Okay fine, I'll let you down."

Anvion had just arrived in the Legends headquarters, her arms full of a struggling and screeching infant. He didn't seem to be horribly fond of being held, being that he was flailing about like he was posessed by some demon and scratching out blindly at his imagined captor. Already a good portion of her shirt was torn up, and some scratches were bleeding freely.

With a sigh, she knelt down and relesed the infant boy on the floor. Gods, THERE. "Don't kill anyone," she called out as she indifferently dabbed at one of the numerous scratches on her arm.

Iya sure as hell didn't hear her. Well, he did, but he paid her no mind. He was off, crawling against the smooth floor in search of... of something. It wasn't smooth floor forever.

He paid no attention to where he went, ignoring the quiet footfalls of the elven female behind him. She was keeping close, but so long as she didn't bother him, Iya was fine. Yet suddently, his small face crashed unexpectedly into something soft. Eh? Sitting back, the blind infant puzzled over the thing he had crashed into for a moment, before leaning in and grabbing the thing, tugging at it lightly. Hmm.

"Iyachtu..." Anvion groaned. The 'soft thing' the had crashed into was nothing less than a woman's leg, and she had a baby in her arms, no less. "Sorry," Anvion said tot he woman, though she did nothing to step in and disentangle Iya from her legs. "He couldn't see you..."

Andraste had just been looking at some announcements as something hit her leg. Having a son with claws herself she quickly noticed of what kind this touch was and her head turned around to look at the boy. "Oh..." She resisted the desire to kick at the little one as she heard the mother's voice and smiled slightly. So he was blind ?

"He's blind ?" Andraste bluntly asked and turned around looking at the metallic child.

Neva listened to the Mama's voice and then looked down at the other one. Whatever he was doing it looked a bit stupid and she didn't know if she liked to meet this person.

"Neva, time to meet a new person." And so the baby was pushed to the ground looking at the other one. He looked odd, was he a machine ?

A casual shrug and nod was Anvion's response. "Yeah. Doesn't stop him from being an unholy terror, though." She grinned and shrugged. "Oh yeah, I'm Anvion. Who're you?"

...Oh. Another person-thing. Upon hearing the voice, Iya frowned in disappointment. There were plenty of person-things back home. Yet when he sensed motion, he scrabbled back a little, glaring irritably at the person-thing. It wasn't going to prod him, was it? He didn't like that.

Yet the person thing had deposited something on the ground. A small thing. Was it another person-thing? It was quiet, but he knew it was there. He was rather sensitive to his surroundings when he paid attention, and the new thnig made him frown in puzzlement. Did it move? Curiously he reached out to touch it...

Andraste grinned. "I know what you're talking about, I've got a son with such kind of claws as well. I bought some plastic caps for them looking like fake nails." Watching the two babies on the ground she remembered the question. "Oh yeah, Andraste. This one's Neva."

Neva watched the boy. She didn't intent to move at all and so she noticed that he was coming closer. Some other ones might have cried by the strange sight of Iya, but Neva didn't. As she was touched though she slapped the other one's hand. Touching was totally annoying.

"Neva and Andraste, eh? I'll have to remember that." Anvion nodded, her eyes going to the two children. Oh dear. Hopefully the girl wouldn't set Iya off. She did NOT want to deal with another of his tantrums.

"Plastic caps? That might work. Lord knows he's ripped up enough shirts already..." The ruined mess of a shirt that she had on now was a perfect example of the boy's destructive abilities. The bleeding arms and chest were a good add-on, as well. Still, the elven female paid it no mind. "Problem is getting him to leave the damn things on. Or maybe I can try to clip his nails..."

At the slap, Iyachtu's hand recoiled, and he get out a small growl. This thing wasn't letting him touch! Yet as much as he wanted to slash at the thing, he instead stubbronly snatched out again, determined to examine the thing that had slapped him.

"Alright, Anvion and...what was his name again ?" Andraste asked and watched the game. Oh no, hopefully she wouldn't have to carry a bleeding child home. Luckily the boy didn't seem to become furious after Neva's attack. "Are you alright ? You look a little bit torn." The woman commented on the other one's shirt. "Unfortunately I've never been here before, but I bet there's a bathroom somewhere around here."

Smirking she added. "I wouldn't try to cut his nails though if you like your body."

Neva's face didn't show an expression as she watched him react. Strange thing that one was. As he tried to touch her again she slapped him again, not as hard as before, but still she did so. It was a game, a test, what would he do ?

"Iyachtu," Anvion prompted. "Iya works fine, though." Oh, the shirt? Anvion glanced down at it, shrugging. It looked like hell, but she didn't care. "Meh. I'll live. He didn't nick me too bad today." Yet nonetheless she idly began rearranging her shirt so as to make herself look a bit more presentable. Anyhing beat looking like she'd lost a fight with a paper shredder, after all.

She laughed lightly at the warning against the trimming. "Nah, it'll be fine. I'll make my fiancee do that job. All I'll need to do is keep my face out of range, no?"

This time he was expecting the slap. After the second blow was landed on his hand, the infant boy's other hand shot out, grabbing the wrist. There! No slapping now. That said and done, he gave a few experimental taps and prods to the girl, finally letting go after satisfied upon finding that she was another person-thing, only smaller than most. His hands dropped back in his small lap as he leaned back contentedly. There. Stupid little person-thing. Why didn't it wanna be touched?

"Mfft," he exclaimed to nothing in particular, his attention in the little-thing already waning. Hm. Now what...?

"Interesting name." Andraste commented and stopped to look for a bathroom. She didn't mind the woman's looks as long as she felt comfortable. "So I guess your fiancee is made out of metal ?" The woman asked directly and grinned. "Wouldn't be bad for him, I guess."

Neva gasped. Her wrist ! It actually belonged to her because she had possessed it forever and now this one wanted to take it away. That just wasn't fair. The thought that it wasn't fair to hit him as well didn't appear in her head at all. "Grgrgrgr." She answered and tried to touch Iya in reply. She could do the same, it would only be fair.

"Sometimes I swear his head is made of metal," Anvion joked. "But he's a mage, so he can cast some spell or something to hold Iya down for a bit. Or he could just use his head," she quipped with a giggle.

Iya seemed to have no qualms about getting poked in return. He only burbled someting incoherent, cautiously reaching out to get a better feel of the little person. Since it had slapped his hand away before, he hadn't gotten a good sense of it-- only that it was a little person, like him. But now he was curious, and wanted to know more.

Andraste laughed. "Oh yeah, typical man feature : head out of metal." She grinned and nodded slightly as she listened to Anvion. "A mage you say ? That's interesting, the guy I'm living with is a Nokke. He's some kind of fishguy, so very blue, but nothing special." Thinking of this she had to clean the bathtub...

Neva didn't like this. Touching was strange and she didn't liked to be touched a lot. Looking up at her mother she tried to get some help, but the mother was busy. Sucking up her lower lip into her mouth she started to chew on it. What would the other one do ?
PostPosted: Sat Sep 16, 2006 10:58 pm

A Nokke? Anvion had never heard of a Nooke before. Yet all the same she was somehow unsurprised. As well-read as she was, the elf had long since grown used to the fact that there were more races and beings here in Gaia than she could ever hope to keep track of. So she merely replied with a smile and nod.

"Cool," she said. "I've got a house of almost all boys, so I've grown used to them. They aren't hard to figure out," she laughed. "So I know how to keep them all happy..."

Having once again grown bored, Iya's small hands dropped from their unapologetically invasive scan over Neva, and he turned his head, seemingly listening for something. The chatter of the two women was distracting, but things were louder at home. He could cope.

Hm. Which way to go. Whiiiich way...

Andraste was glad that there were only two boys in her house. "Teenage boys as well ?" She asked and a spark of hope seemed to lighten inside of her. Hopefully, she needed somebody to talk about Jacosa's latest problems. It was annoying.

It was exactly that moment when Neva became bored. The other one didn't seem very interesting and he hadn't reacted to slapping, he hadn't reacted at all. It wasn't funny, touching was boring and so she thought about doing something against it.

One of Neva's feet tried to kick Iya.
PostPosted: Mon Sep 18, 2006 11:22 am

The kick caught Iya in the shin, causing the infant to snap his attention back to the little person thing and snarl. His small hands balled into fists briefly, before he lunged forward, lashing out at the thing that had kicked him.

Anvion nodded. "Yep, I've got one tee-IYA!" Taking a quick step forward, Anvion reached down and scooped up the screeching infant boy. "Iya, you do NOT do that!"

Ignoring the baby's wails and struggling, the blue-haired elf rolled her eyes. "Sorry 'bout him..."

"It's not his fault." Andraste mumbled and picked up Neva, who glared at her. That one had toucher her WITHOUT asking ! Alright, she wasn't very wordy herself, but that one had TOUCHED HER WITHOUT ASKING.

"Neva, don't do that again !" The mother scowled and looked at the other baby. "I hope he's alright."

Neva pouted and tried to reach for Iya. She wanted to play with him, why did nobody let them play ?!
