What clan are you from or would like to be part of?

Rownawand: They are teachers and hoarders of knowledge.
Wyndenkell: They are expert spell writers.
Leapvaughn: Mischeif makers and joke players.
Vikroth: Warriors and they were later related to the vikings.
Brightendale: Healers who use plants to heal.
Burhide: They do magick with gems, crystals and metals.
Woodbane: They want power at any cost. they are nicknamed "The Evil Clan" because they focus on Black Magick. But, i myself, happen to be a Woodbane and i'm not eviil.

I would like to be either Brightendale or Wyndenkell
Brightendale because I love herbs and healing
Wyndenkell because I love writing spells

agreed and i think the whole clan thing is silly and juvenille because all it does is segregate us into little categories and i think that we should be building connections rather then blocking each other off.

Lex (I went to check whee ), I don't think darkrock64 was having a go at WitchBoy, I believe he was just replying to my not-so-subtle pointing out what bothers me.

darkrock64, seriously. There is nothing I hate more than people who start talking about something and then stop in the middle. If you can't talk about it then DON'T. At all. If you can talk about it then do. We'll listen and try to help... What you're doing though, in my opinion, is not looking for help but looking for attention. And I do find it irritating. I also find it degrading that you treat us in such a way. Want help? Ask for it. And make it clear what you want help with.

Like I said, and I seriously wished it had gotten through to you: If you want to keep a secret, stop telling everyone you have one.

you can be half wyndenkell and half brightendale. I'm half woodbane and half rowanwand but i like woodbane more (not becasue its considerd evil just because i like it)

Just a gentle nudging- do try and keep threads on topic - Darkrock, perhaps if you'd like to discuss this matter more, you should make a new thread.

Clans- the first I heard of the idea was in Cate Tiernan's Sweep series. To this day, I don't know if they're real of not (I'm used to books making things up- I'm not too sure how much of the Sweep series is fact or fiction), but I can probably dig up the 'traits' of each clan when I'm not busy. smile Unless someone else wants to beat me to it? wink
