Seriously! Hollywood really need to make they're own stories and making movies off of people's lives. I mean you can seriously make money making a movie based on my life. Ahhhh that is really annoying. Sorry for this rant. It is meaningless.

Well Hollywoodland is more on, a guy who tries to figure out why/how the man who played superman died. Is may be based on someone life. But it's something no-one knows about. I think it has a good enough...other bits in it to side. Capote on the other hand, I know nothing about. So no point of view on that.

Some of it can be quite exciting. Granted, it seems like the directors are just trying to make a quick buck off of someone else's experiance... Though sometimes it introduces you to someone great who you didn't know. But that's more of why I don't like event-based movies. Like the 9/11 ones. We all know it happened. But not everyone knew who William Capote was. Or that he even existed.

The reason hollywood is making so many movies on other's lives is because lately, they haven't been able to come up with anything better. Half of the movies today flop, and everything is played out.

Don't be sorry about this topic at all. I personally hate how almost all movies that come out are either sequals of a movie that was good but the sequal sucked or movies that come out that are based on someone else's life. Seriously, they have run out of ideas. TV in general has gone way downhill. Look at the quality of cartoons that have been released latley on chanels like cartoon network and nickelodion. Everyone in the television industry is running out of ideas. I'm not sure if you all, depending on your age, remember what cartoons were like about twelve years ago. Those cartoons were actually good and taught kids morals, unlike the crap that is on now.
