Well? For me, it would be Power Rangers, Walker Texas Ranger (hells yeah), and Bruce Lee.

I would probably have to say my Dad. He got me started in martial arts and enrolled me into his school.

Interest in the art form and philosophy of Martial Arts ... as well as movies, comics and the fantasy of making people who want to cause physical harm to you look like helpless fools in front of you ... mrgreen

The 3 Ninjas, hands down. Best freaking crap-ninja movie ever. I mean, who the hell can forget Rocky, Colt, and Tumtum?

I fought a lot as a kid and loved martial arts shows that I would see on discovery. I liked history and I was always into ancient arms and armor I read books on martial arts and started collecting knives and other things at about 9 years old so the next step was training. I took Tae Kwon Do the summer break after my 4th grade year I stayed with it for a few months and felt like I was a better fighter than the people I was training with it was all sport and I just hated it so I never came back. Later I just felt like I should have stayed with it and used what I learnd combined with my own ideas so 5 years ago I started Wing Chun and have stuck with it the best I can. I am more into combat minded fighting I like to train in that sort of thing more than for sport or what ever.

to be honest, when i read a book on the samauri telling about their beliefs and how they felt serenity was both a good importance to health, and a way to truly fight, i longed for that serenity. so i started believing only martial arts could get me to my goals. once i joined i couldn't stop, i became addicted. and well here i am.
