The city of Merilith is about 30 miles from Cliffside city and is a major business center in the region. The amount of money coming in and out made a big impact on how Merilith developed. The signs of its prosperity are shown throughout the city in its elegance. *This is a commerce/role-play thread*

The man and Hajimate reappear the basement of Castle Merilith. It is a simple training room with weapons on the walls and a basic dirt floor. Hajimate walks over to the wall and hangs his black coat and hat on a peg. He then walks over to the man and grins.
"Have you decided to fight back this time? Or am I just gonna beat you like I normally do..."

Lonewolf remained perfectly calm and resolute. His expression remained stone cold. He slowly reached into his pocket and pulled Violet out and set her down on the floor, nudging her slightly to back away from him.
"I told you Hajimate. I'm not going to fight you. 'The Legendary Dragoon' is dead. I am no longer that man."

"Well now, that certainly is depressing"
Haji quickly draws back a fist and throws it into Lonewolf's chest. He then quickly dashes to the side and connects it into his ribcage.
"And to think that this was one the proud leader of a guild, a guild that helped him defeat demons from his own past. What a shame it is to know that he has fallen from such grace."
He kicks out on of lonewolf's legs and as he is falling catches him with another fist to the chest. He then grabs on to him by his neck.
"Now he is nothing but weak old man wallowing in the mud of his depression and shame."
He lets lonewolf drop to the ground.
"I am ashamed to even admit I fought along side you once...."

Lonewolf falls down onto the floor. He then picks himself up calmly and stands back up. Staring into Haj's eyes defiantly.
"You do not understand my grief and shame. Beat away, old friend, for I will not fight back." He remained resolute.

Violet scattered over to a corner as Hajimate threw blows at her master.
"Sir Haji..." She began to whisper. She bit at her lower lip, uncertain if the two were sparring, or if Haji was truely angry with her Master. No, that couldn't be it. Hajimate was a friend. She was sure of this.... maybe.

Hajimate pulls out the handle of his enchanted greatsword and presses it against one of the wooden pegs on the wall, forming a wooden greatsword. He walks back over to lonewolf and stares right back at him.
"Grief...shame? What grief? Come talk to me of grief when your own brother kills your father, blames you for it and throws you in jail. Talk to me of shame when you have to try to rebuild your own country when you have just killed your brother and people are still weary about you...thinking that you still killed your father."
Hajimate sticks the sword in the ground.
"But if this doesn't work, we could always stick to the beatings...."

Lonewolf remained silent.
"Why is it that you continue to pry?" He asked angrily. "Why must you constantly try to change me into becoming something that I'm not? I loved her Haj...just as much as I loved Stephanie...even more so...She tried to kill me and I had to murder her! I watched the woman I loved die from my own hands! I couldn't just waltz back into the guild expecting everyone to welcome me with open arms. I was a fool then, just as I am a fool now. I am nothing..." He looked away in shame.

Turns around and picks up the sword.
"Kothar Gix"
The sword and part of Hajimate's arm becomes covered in black energy.
"Fine, if you wont let anyone in, I guess you are truely diserving of the name 'Lonewolf."

The mention of his name triggered a spark of anger and hatred.
"Don't EVER call me by that name!!"
Lonewolf glared at Hajimate with an enormous amount of hatred, his fists clenched hard as he literally shook with anger.
"Lonewolf is DEAD!!!" He roared.

A smile slowly formed on his face. The dark energy dissapated and Hajimate rested his sword on his shoulder.
"Well if you want me to never call you that again, why dont you come over here and stop me....lonewolf."

Lonewof's left eye twitched slightly. He managed to calm himself, then looked up at Hajimate with a sneer.
"Never." He stated as cold as ice. "I am no longer a fighter. Just leave me in peace." That last request was said with a calm, saddened tone. Lonewolf turned to walk up the stairs.

Violet's eyes grew wide and she wanted them both to be happy. If this was merely practice, why must they yell? She crawled into a mouse hole and closed her eyes tightly.

Hajimate lets out a heavy sigh.
"I guess I really have no choice then..."
He suddenly appears infront of Lonewolf with one hand extended towards lonewolf.
"Malsvir Jhank"
A ball of dark energy fires from his hand and speeds towards Lonewolf.

Lonewolf looked up at the oncoming blast and didn't bother dodging it. "So be it..." he sighed.
The blast impacted Lonewolf, and threw him off his feet and onto the floor with much force. After a moment of lying there, Lonewolf slowly got up to his feet and dusted himself off. "You just don't know a lost cause when you see one." He stated flatly with his hands in his pockets.
