well what has ur team been doing, a good thing to do is practice, sprints, and fast dashes, and crawls, make them be as low as possible, and diving is another thing. and leaning do that alot, do it so u can see the spots with out them seeing u.

the sprinting and diving are some good basic drills to do, but some real drills would include, shooting left handed if playin the left side of the field, and vice versa, you can also set up a box/target on the other side of the field, and practice shooting lanes while running, those are some good ones, and for fun you could practice 1-1's or 2-1's to get better at snapshooting and bein able 2 improvise

satellite runs, those will get u into shape but just doing ten of them is killer

satellite run:
1. pick a room large enough to run from wall to wall
2. its where u sprint down do ten push ups, run back ten situps, and u keep doing 1 less each time, until u get to zero trust me it doesnt sounds bad but they are killer
it helps endurance alot we used to do them during wrestling

oh w8 u wanted drills right, not exercises

Depends on what you play. Woodsball or Speedball. The tatics differ.

I play Woodsball so one thing we do, is at a starting point, you give the commander ten seconds to tell all his men what to do, and then the rest of the team moves out, if the commander hesitates, he's dead. If he screws up the whole team does 20-30 guts. If the commander fails, the team fails.

What kind of drills are they not wanting to work on??? If its sliding I know a easy way to beat that. Just pull out a tarp/slip n slide throw some water of it and have fun doing slides while gearing some of your gear. Thats how I personally practice my slides, your sliding distance may vary from slip n slide to grass. It allows you to practice slides becuase some people in games hesitate to slide certain ways becuase there is the fear of sliding wrong and possibly injuring yourself or just looking like a total goof if you don't pull it off right.

For running n gunning stuff there is much to do besides make some cheesy little games out of it all.

we are all in pretty good shape and have most basic skills down.

we need to work on some of the more boring things like snapping or comunications an it seems that whenever we come to that part of practice my team suddenly disappear.

i need some help getting them to actually do the things that require a little commetment.

BTW sorry about my spelling

i will probly try some of the above drills in our next practice. they seem pretty good

have them put cotton puffs in their ears while they practice, so that way they all have to yell, its like putting head phones on u dont even realize u r speaking louder
so that they get used to talking loud, then when u take them off opefully they will still talk loud

my team is a team of 4 and we have partners that stay the same so we can work as a two man team if need be, our drills consist of playing two on two hunt(or three on three if we get a couple of other people) it helps us work on our hiding, patience when your hiding, and alertness, then after the fray has started it helps with shooting under preasure and flanking, basicly an all around test of skills

snap shooting:snap shooting i snap shooting. you make shure they dont come out of the same place more then twice in a row.

getting them to do drills:suspention. that will get your team on the field. i'm not saying be mean about it, or suspened them for a tournament or long periods of time, just one game.ask them if its more fun to win or loose. they will answer win. tell them if they want to win they need to have certain skills, to get those skills you have to practice them and have somebody point out what your doing wrong so they can fix it and improve. you'll know whos serious and who's just there to mess around. dont spend ANY time trying to get somebody to do something that they dont want to do. paintballers are everywhere. there will always be someone to replace them.
comunication: have them play a normal game against good players. give your back guys one pod and a hopper and your mid/ front guys a hopper. this will make them talk and move. they have too.if they dont know where anyone is how can they shoot them? they cant win a game on just personal skill. they have to work together.

IMPORTANT SKILL!: run and gun. its so hard to get used to. i played a tourney against guys who have played for 2 1/2 yeas and 80% of them couldnt run and gun. they were shooting over the freaking net. take and empty paint box and put it on a stick in the ground. make shure its about chest high(4 feet or so). thats your target. start barrels on the board and then go. run as fast as you can and shoot the box. THIS TAKES ALOT OF PRACTICE!!!! this is a very important skill.learn to use it. your mid guys especialy.

hope i helped

I agree here, sprints, fast dashes and crawls are good areas to practice and perfect. also aiming, cover fire, and trigger control helps too.
