Just like the name says, this is Cliffside City. The city is split into two halves: The city itself, the relatively flat part and the residence area, the elevated part. There are many stores and businesses located in the city as well as many government and public buildings. Oh and becareful of the cars as you cross the streets! Since the city is in the center of the many areas around it, it's convient for perdestrians to get place to place. *This is a commerce/role-play thread* *NOTE: You must go through the city if you are going to the forest, beach, high school, ruins, and Merilith thread*

Rayl began to walk towards their residence a couple blocks away from the school with Kinera by his side. "Did Mr. Leon seem disturbed about something to you? He stuttered alot and paced and teachers are usually very prominent speakers."

Kinera skipped along beside her brother, "Yuppers! It was weird, but I'm sure glad he gave us no homework!" She grinned as she continued to skip around. This was definately not one of her serious moments.

"Shopping!" Kinera squeelled and jumped for joy. She grabbed her brother's hand and took off runing down the sidewalk with her poor brother Rayl in tow.

Rayl practically begins to fly because the speed Kinera is pulling him at. Damn when did she get so fast! The finally pull to a halt infront of a really nice storefront. "I guess were in the shopping district now?"

Kinera was staring at the dress on sell through the window and ignored Rayl, "So pretty!" Unfortunately the shop was closed and Kinera gave a heavy sigh. "Am I cursed or something...?!" She looked around and saw another shop, one for antiques, and immediately grabbed Rayl's hand and drug him over, "Look it's open for once!" Kinera said with glee as she pulled Rayl inside.

"Hey they have a place for antique weapons!" Rayl walks over and begins reading the label below a sword hilt. History Fact: This is the hilt of a sword believed to be used by King Hageemate. It is rumored that when pressed against something and then removed a blade is formed from the element the hilt just touched. All attempts to prove this rumor true were failurs however.

Kinera wondered the isles like a kid in a candy store, admiring everything. She come up on a small counter with a display of jewelry. "Hey, Rayl! Look at this one," Kinera eyed a silver chain necklace with a small silvery-blue orb in the center and two highly detailed angelic wings attached on either side of the orb.

"Hmm..." Kinera tried to find a description, "All it says is its a relic called 'The Heart of Silver Light'. Its so pretty though!" Kinera wanted to try it on but it was in a glass case. "How much money do you have?" Kinera suddenly turned to Rayl and smiled a sweet innocent smile that usually got her what she wanted.

Rayl not wanting to feel guilty pulls out a satchel full of gold coins, "I think I've got enough to get us both something, nothing extremely fancy like the King's Sword but I can get you that Heart of Silver Light and then something for me."

"Okay!" Kinera's face light up with glee. She seemed to have the power over others to get what she wanted most of the time. Kinera was always told it was because she was too cute to have someone say no to. "What are you going to get? I have some money too!" Kinera pulled out her wallet from her bag, it was considerable thinner then Rayl's.

"Hmm I don't...." Rayl stopped mid-sentence when he saw a Naginata in a rack on the far wall. "...That!" Rayl points at the weapon and a worker comes over, " Fine choice sir! That weapon was traced back to a warrior about 600 years ago. Rumored to be from an underling in the command of a Lady Lucretia. That's when it was last used atleast. We have hence restored it to it's original splendor and replaced the blade and used some more current technology to strengthen it's durability." Rayl nods at the worker. After throwing a few wagers around Rayl gets a 50% discount and buys the amulet for Kinera and the Naginata for himself. "Thank you sir!" " Thanks for your money" Rayl leaves the store with Kinera in toe and they stand outside awwing over their new items. ((Naginata looks like this ))

Kinera was as happy as could be, twirling about with the necklace before finally putting it on. "Thank you, Rayl!" Kinera hugged her brother. When she let go of him she held the pendant part with the orb up to the sunlight and let the light shine through it.
