Welcome To The Beach  A long streatch of golden sand streatching as far as the eye can see. Bending round masked be a large clump of trees.  Felicity sat on the beach watching the waves gently roll back and forth.
~Today will be a clear day~ she thought absent mindly brushing back a stray hair that had fallen from her braid.
Carfully picking up her work she started to thread another string of beads.
Picking up another peice she looked at it carfully before returning it and threading another one.
Some were made of bone others were polished stones whish she had drilled holes through. But her faverates were the bag of gems Mink had gotten for her.
Everyone seemed to be alive, Dancing with movement, when the sun hit the stone. Mink had traded with an old taur for them and she often went away only to return with more when she ran out.
Putting her hand into the bag she pulled out the stone and threaded it.
"Purfect match. As always" she said to herself happly as she finished off the braclet and added it to the others.
As she started another one she begain to sing to herself.
A soft haunting song about loosing her one true love.

 Far in the distance, too far for the naked eye to see, a ship was pulling out of a natural harbor along the beach. It's sails were a deeb blue, the wood of the ship stained a dark brown which had worn away some in the water so that it got paler on down. Peirdupet had walked along the beach, so far that he could not make out the ship anymore whenever he turned to look over his shoulder.
His ears picked up catches of a melody drifting on the winds. For a moment he considered taking to the trees to avoid whoever might be here. Perhaps they didn't want any company. But the melody pulled at him and he was walking nearer before he even realized it. As he rounded a bend the trees receeded further from the shore and he saw her.
There were a few moments when Peir simply stood there, listening and watching before he realized how rude he was being. He scuffed one hoof in the sand and cleared his throat to announce his presence before saying, "Hello."

Felicity jumped up hearing a voice, cracking the shell she had been threading and sending her bag of gems craching to the sand.
Looking at the strange taur infront of her she studied him carfully.
~Cervitaur, like me. Slightly older, avarage hight ~ Suddnley she relised she was staring.
"Oh Hello. Can i help you?" Mently felicity kicked herself her mother had tought her better then this.

Peir was likewise kicking himself. He shouldn't have been so quiet when aproaching. He should have made certain she knew he was coming so he didn't startle her. He took a few steps forward and picked up her bag. "Sorry for startling you," he said handing it toward her. "I'm Peirdepet... or just Peir if you like. I'm just... out wandering." He gave a lop-sidded grin.

"It's all right I'm just not used to anyone comming here. It not an easy place to get to." Felicity replyed as she took the bag from his outstretched hand. "Thank you Peir. My names Felicity." She couldn't help but smile back at his lop-sidded grin.

Felicity blushed slightly but pretended to miss the comment .
"I Live Just in the woods over there with My mother and the.... "Felicity paused for a second thinking how to class the rest of her mix matched family. "others." she finished with a smile.
"but i come down to work on the beach in the mornings it's quiet and i can get my work done quicker." Felicity said holding up a finished braclet.
"I make them to trade for other thing." she added shyly

He blamed his suspicion on Chane - there was something not right about that centaur - when Felicity paused while naming those she lived with. Others? he asked himself. Why doesn't she say who? He was glad though that she didn't say anything about his slip of the tongue... he'd always been pretty akward around girls and they tended to laugh at him in his old tribe. Before he'd left.
"They're very nice," he said politely, though he wasn't really into jewelry. "I don't usually come this far down the beach. There's a cove," he pointed back the way he came, "a quarter day's walk from here. That's where I live."

Looking back at the way he had came Felicity nodded.
"no wonder we havn't meet before." Felicity paused realising she'd spoken out loud "Mother tells us never to pass the line of trees at the bend."
Felicity gently shifted the sand at her feet wondering what to say next. She'd never realy talked to a boy before, well unless you counted her step brothers or the old man at the market.
A shadow caught her eye and she smiled "Do you want to meet Joy?"

Peir smirked, "Aren't you a bit old for still doing as your told?" he asked playfully when she mentioned her mother. Then he nodded, "Sure."

Felicity chuckled slightly "you dont know my mother."
Before he could say anything she put her fingers to he lips and let out a shrill whistle.
Then she waited.

Peir flinched a bit, he wasn't used to someone getting so close, close enough to touch him, without them hitting him. He'd spent too much time with Azure... He thought about the whistle and wondered if he could duplicate it. With the shrillness of it, well he wasn't sure. It didn't sound like a normal bird call.

A sharp cry from above broke the scilence between them. Quickly bending down Felicity picked up her glove she held out her arm.
As Fast as you could blink A largish hawk landed on the glove. Moving her arm round slightly felicity gently stroked the top of her head. cooning softly to her before truning back to Peir.
"Peir this is Joy. She's been with me since before I can remember"

Peir's eyes looked up nervousely and images of Kitrio flashed through his head. Certainly not another young girl with one of those... creatures. Nevermind that Azure was older than him, he thought she acted so childish.
He gave a releived sort of laugh and rubbed at the back of his neck. He tried to remember what he knew of hawking and it wasn't much. "She's very pretty. Joy," he said in a musing tone. "Such an odd name for a hunter."
