Village of the Shinobi Chapter

After we had left the Hidden village of the Shinobi, we head to a Feudal town to the east, out to find Lord Hanzo's son, Isuki, along with his sister, Sakura and our guide, Kai. Together we managed to get in quietly and get the heavily injuried Isuki out but we soon we're discovered by that mysterious woman back in the fight with Omon. She was the one manipulating the Shogun into attacking the ninja village and somehow control his very soul, much to the suprise of the Dragoons and ally ninjas. A battle ensued against the samurai guards and a lackey of that woman. Fortunately we got by without any major damage and went to the outskirts of the town, leaving Isuki in the care of Sakura. The Shogun's throne room was covered in blood, there the leader, sitting upon his royal throne, was assassinate with a stab wound to the heart. We got out of the town as soon as we could and headed back to the village of the ninjas. There, Lord Hanzo encountered assassination attempt but Kai died by shielding Hanzo. Giving our final respects to the ninja, we stayed there for a week, guarding Hanzo without any incident before heading back to our home.

Cliffside/Dragoon Nightmare Chapter

After we helped Relena and her gang out, we returned to the guild for some R&R from that battle against Amileus and the Devil and his cohorts. However, it seems that things went astray again when that mysterious woman let a virus among the wheat cultivated near Cliffside Village, contaminating much of the villagers. We set out to investigate but we we met zombies on the way there. After that small scuffle, we had noticed that they donned clothing orginating from the village and the horrible truth struck us: it was to turn the villagers into the undead. The village itself was barely intact but encountered hordes of zombies. Stricken by grief, I led the dragoons to put out the misery of these poor people, only to save about 300 people still alive. After the purging of Cliffside Village, we came to realize whoever was our enemy, wanted to harm us in some way, even to involve others who had nothing to do with this. We headed back to the main building only to find it as a battlefield. Giant golden wolves fought against demons and in the background, that woman and another man with her as well, giving off this terrible aura of power. As the dragoons entered the fray, we somehow managed to defeat the attacking enemy...but the main building was destroyed. Our home..was gone. I led the people of Cliffside village and the remaining dragoons to Cliffside Hideout, where we fought Omon and his band of fighters. Claiming this as the new temporary base, we organized how things were going to be and planned our next step.

Underworld's Conquest Chapter

After noticing a rise in demon attacks and raids, a band of dragoons led by Lion went down into the underworld to see Sefziel to find out what was happening but interrupted by a gate keeper under that mysterious woman's orders. It was a long and hard battle but in the end, we won but with dire wounds. The old mage healed us in a day before telling us what is happening. The demon lord Fumasuike had upsured leadership in the underworld and planned revenge against the world and 'clease' it as we know it. There was a special orb he needed to get to successfully complete his conquest and break the seal guarding the overworld: The Orb of Annihilation. The other part about it is that it increases the wielder's powers immensely; a dangerous tool in the hands of the enemy. Sefziel told us that it is hidden in the Cave of Trials southeast of the city and warned us that if we do try to retrieve it, we must be aware of the danger the trials possess for no one has returned alive...if they did somehow, they had lost their sanity and could only speak gibberish of what they have encountered. Lion and co. returned to the overworld and start to muster their forces as much as they could for what they know it as the battle for humanity.

The Final War Chapter

We set up our base on the outskirts of the Cave of Trials, opposite of the huge army of Fumasuike. Shadowkite, in her hawk form, reported back saying that their numbers ranked at least over 500,000 troops. With this news, many conscripted soldiers began to despair and Lion began to doubt if they were to win this battle like the other wars in the past. After recieving some moral support from his friends, Lion gave a harangue on the freedom of the our world and how we cannot let this demon lord achieve his ambitions without giving a fight that the demons won't forget for a long time.

At dawn, the two armies stood at a stand-still...then an arrow from our side was set loose and killed a demon foot-soldier. That was the arrow that begun the battle for the world as we know it. Both sides have suffered heavy casualities as the battle switched from the demon's to our favor several times. As Lion dealt with a demon soldier, another quietly snuck behind him and was ready to kill him. Not expecting that attack, Lion couldn't do much and saw his death coming. But a sword point suddenly bursted through it. As the body dropped, and to Lion's suprise, Omon had saved his life. Nodding his thanks, Lion ran off to the highest hill there, spotting Eenu and Osere fight as well. A plan formulated as he reached the top and focused on the runes on his gunblade. Releasing the power of the five elemental runes, Lion swept away much of the enemy, killing them with the respective principle of their dominate traits. Out of the 100,000 men we have gathered, only 947 have survived..We could not mourn for our fallen comrades since Fumasuike and some of his generals had entered the Cave of Trials during the attack, later on known as The Battle of the Two Worlds.

The Trials Chapter

As Lion, Ocarina, Shadowkite, Relena, Haji, and Erim entered the cavern, the cave splits up into six other openings. Deciding that everyone could take care of themselves..hopefully, Lion had everybody go into each tunnel, that way they could cover more ground. As Lion walked through the tunnel, he started to hear voices murmering about another foolish being that dares to enter.

Lion remembered Sefziel's advice and steeled himself against whatever he was to run into. Suddenly it went dark and Lion was knocked out. When he came about, he was in a familiar village..but he couldn't recognize it. It was until dawn when he remembered: He was back home. However, Lion was confused about this. Why was he here? What is going on?...When he suddenly heard loud screams of pain, Lion rushed to the scene only to find the people dead, laying at what they were doing. Breathing heavily, memories pummeled him; the screams, the cries, the pleas, the confusion...all attacked him at the same time, forcing him to his knees.

As he fended them off one by one, a shadow stood in front of him, enpowered by the flames set upon the houses. "Get up" the voice commanded and Lion looked up slowly; it was his old self when he was controlled by Mortamus. He sneered and readied his sword to beheaded him but Lion showed no movement or anything, still shocked by the events unfolding once again before him. As the rusted blade came, Lonewolf's sword met it with a resounding ping. Lion forced the other him backwards before drawing his gunblade and saying this, "Even heroes have regret...they can never escape that reality..but they always have the most important thing: The people they hold dear to!"

Lion fought with the old Lion until they met each other in a stalemate with each other's swords locked together. All of the sudden, the Old Lion was on the ground with Lion's sword at his throat, "Surrender." The Old Lion just sneered at him, "Never." Silent, Lion just broke the rusted sword into pieces and walked away, leaving old him confused. The burning memory slowly faded away as Lion walked away until he faced an elaborated door.

Shrugging, he opened it to find that mysterious woman. "What took you so long? I got bored waiting here.." she taunted as she walked provactively towards him. "Had to do something. Sorry to keep you waiting..," Lion positioned himself into stance, "Now then, we have a fight overdue, but before we do that, what is your name?" She laughed, "It's Katrina, just for your information." She pulled out her fan and unfolded it, slightly covering her face.

The battle stood still for a moment before exploding into probably one of the hardest battles that Lion had to ever face. A couple of times he had faced death in the eye before avoiding it but when it finally came to the last attack, Lion used his dragoon powers to end it but not without many wounds and extremely exhausted.

He staggered towards the door and trudged into the dark cavern once again.

The Last Battle Chapter

Soon Lion caught up with the other dragoons, who are also worn out from whatever they had encountered. After quickly resting for a couple of minutes and getting healed, the group headed to the unknown decorated double doors ahead. Lion burst right through the wooden barrier, finding the demon lord and two of his companions trying to excavute the Orb of Annihilation from a very morbid statue of some kind of demon race.

He turned around lazily and smirked as he faced us. "So it seems that you passed the trials and the sentries I set just in case. Impressive, dragoons...However," Fumasuike turned sideways and motioned his hand at the pulsating sphere, "You are too late. Soon, us demons can finally break free from the barrier that keeps us here and take revenge on you pitful humans."

He released a demonic laughter but stopped after hearing Lion laugh quietly. "I don't know why you think you'll win...after all, we're still alive and kicking!" Lion shouted passionately as he pulled out his swords, "It's not over till you're dead!" The others followed suit, some smirking and some with a solemn face. Fumasuike frowned as he stood there, fingering the shaft of the spear at his side,"You say it's not over? Once I have the orb, you'll all die!"

He charged with unexpected speed, catching us all off guarded. The fight was totally in favor of the demon lord but somehow, he was subdued.

Both parties breathed heavily and stood at a stand-off. Suddenly hearing the other two demon companions scream in agony, we turned our attention to the orb. It was giving off black sparks and lighting as it slowly destroyed the two and absorbed them. Realizing that the orb was now free, we rushed to it but it in vain. Fumasuike had already gotten it. His eyes burned with malice and greed. "YES!!! FINALLY! THE DAY OF RECKONING HAS COME MORTALS!" He activated the orb and immediately we could feel the immense power that the demon was obtaining. "Run! We don't stand a chance right now!" Lion shouted as motioned to the exit. They were reluctant to escape but knowing that they could be crushed by the collapsing cave, everybody ran outside. The ground quaked under the power strain and the cavern fell, huge dust clouds formed where it formerly stood.

"Get ready for the battle of your life guys.." Lion whispered as a faint outline of a person walking through the dust clouds. Hearing Lion say that, Ocarina dude said,"This will be like the 10th battle of our lives". Even from a distance, the demonic energy given off felt like it was right beside him. Fumasuike soon appeared in whole, not even a scratch on him. The orb was somehow attached to the place where the heart should be.

"Now then...we'll take this to the next level." He smirked and raised his palm to the red-orange sky. Slowly but surely, the sky ripped apart, revealing the forest to the east of the former home base. Lion charged towards Fumasuike in anger and tried to strike him down but somehow was transported to the forest as he struck the demon.

"Tempter, temper. That's not how you should act right before you die!" He rushed in, his spear aimed to kill. Lion couldn't react fast enough but got saved by other fellow dragoons, his friends. "We won't let you do whatever you please! We'll fight to the death!" Lion and the dragoons all attacked him.

During the battle, Fumasuike got stronger and stronger as the orb was absorbed into his body and more dragoons fell. "Hahahhaha! You cannot defeat me! I am all powerful!" He shouted with complete madness but suddenly threw up blood. "What..?" The demon lord convulsed violently and got on his knees, slightly twitching.

"What the hell?" Lion asked to no one in particular and had the injuried and everybody move back a distance. He feared something else might go wrong.

Slowly Fumasuike rose, chuckling softly, "I see now...my body can't handle the power..heh..I guess I lose then..but.." He glared at the dragoons, "I'll take all of you humans with me!" A sudden power surged right through the demon lord as he summoned more power, making himself a time bomb just waiting to go off.

"EVERYONE! GET AWAY FROM HERE!" Lion shouted panickly. He knew that with this kind of power level, the blast could easily take out half of the world unless... He watched everybody run but some of his companions turned around and saw him just standing there. They shouted for him to go but Lion just shook his head and gave a faint smile before turning around to the ticking demon bomb.

Lionheart, the leader of the dragoons, gathering every single inch of his power and stood right in front of Fumasuike. "You shall not pass!" The demon lord smirked, "We'll see about that!"

Everything came to a stop as the bomb went off. The explosion could have be seen from every direction about 100 miles but in damage-wise, it was a disaster zone. The part of the forest they were fighting in was damaged so badly that the environment was changed permently into a desert.

And in the mist of it, Lionheart's gunblade was stuck in the sand, shattered.

Epilogue - Lion's Farewell

Lion watched the rest of the dragoons as they regrouped and organized themselves from afar with Shadow, his dragon and partner. His whole body was tattered and bleeding, but somehow sustained enough for him to live.

"Do you think they will be alright without their leader?"

"Yeah...I left them a letter on the desk in my room...hopefully, they will move on without me."

"So then, shall we be going? After all, this is...an unusual action for you to take."

Lion gave a small smile, "Don't worry..I'll be meeting up all of them..sooner or later." He painfully climbed onto Shadow's back and gave his friends one last look, "Farewell...Dragoons.."

Shadow took off and flew into the night.

For the new RPers, all of the above were the backround stories of Lionheart's Legacy. Before that was Lonewolf's Legacy, here are a few chapters of that story:

Lonewolf's Legacy: The Demon Army Chapter

After recruiting many members into Lonewolf's Dragoons, it seemed things were going to be quite peaceful for awhile as the members found various ways to enjoy themselves on the guilds' premisice. However, once a mysterious, man named Hajimate joined the guild, things began to get quite interesting. He first tested Lonewolf's fighting capabilities by sparring with him. After Lonewolf had won the little scuffle, Hajimate was pleased and informed Lonewolf that he was apart of a supernatural hunting group and that they believed that the guild was to be the next target. Soon after this, another mysterious man who looked somewhat similar to Hajimate had joined the guild. His name was Kaze. Once Hajimate came face to face with this man, Hajimate quickly pointed at him and shouted, "I've found you!!!" Both men suddenly turned into demons and had an epic battle with each other. Lonewolf intervened and stopped the two from killing each other by sedating both men with holy water found from the forest to the east of the guild. After talking like normal human beings, Hajimate found out that Kaze wasn't the real demon his group was after, instead it was Kaze's father who they were after. He was the leader of a vast demon army which was tracking Kaze down since he had betrayed his father by stealing an ancient artifact that granted the user an unrivaled amount of power. Kaze believed that he would be able to seek refuge in Lonewolf's guild by staying low-key, but as soon as he transformed into a demon to protect himself from Hajimate, that was all that was needed in order for Kaze's father to find him.

Kaze's father's army eventually found the guild and attacked it with his whole army. They sought out to completely obliterate Kaze along with Lonewolf and his friends. After an epic battle as Lonewolf and the others fought back the army, Kaze used the artifact to destroy his father. After the battle, Kaze thanked the dragoons and went his own way.

Lonewolf's Legacy: The Necromancer Lord Chapter

After receiving an email about a necromancer coming to Croatia, Lonewolf felt a little uneasy as soon as he heard the necromancer's name. Mortamus. Knowing that he had heard that name somewhere before, he dug into his past and realized that Mortamus was the brother of his old lover, Stephanie, who had committed suicide after she had broken up with him. Once he found this out, Lonewolf ran out of the guild and onto the cliff that over looks Cliffside Village and called Mortamus out:

"MORTAMUS!!!!!!" He yells at the top of his lungs. "SHOW YOURSELF!!!" Suddenly, a man in a dark cloak that touched the ground, and he was about 6'5'' in height, appeared behind Lonewolf and wrapped his cape around Lonewolf, then they both vanished.

Up on top of the cliff overlooking cliffside village...

Lonewolf begins to regain his conciousness. His vision is blurry at first, but he can still recognize the man who stands before him. "Mortamus..." He mumbles. The man stands defiantly over Lonewolf, "That's 'Sir' Mortamus to you!" The zombie overlord, wasn't a zombie at all. He was a living breathing...necromancer. Lonewolf manages to chuckle out a derisive laugh, "'Sir'? Ha...ha...since when did you become Mr. High ranking officer? From what I can remember, you were nothing more then a jealous little scrub who was too selfish to give up his younger sister!" Lonewolf's words seemed to have struck home. Angered by the mockery, Mortamus rears his right hand back and smacks Lonewolf across the face. Lonewolf smiles as he spits out some blood to the side. "...you still hit like a scrub too..." Outraged, Mortamus picks up Lonewolf by his neck and begins choking him. "A 'scrub' am I?!" He squeezes tighter, "As I recall, it was YOU who was the scrub that believed my possesed little sister's words! Leading to your parting, and to this pathetic 'Lonewolf's Dragoons' guild!" Mortamus laughed malevolently, He drops Lonewolf to the ground. Lonewolf rubbed at the hand marks on his neck, "What....*pant*...what do you mean...'possessed?'" Mortamus truned his back on Lonewolf, "You fool!" He snorted, "Did you really think that was my SISTER who cancelled the wedding?! My sister cared about you more then anything! I couldn't stand it...so I decided to possess her with my new-found powers and make her end your relationship together. Needless to say, she did not approve of this, and tried to steal my powers from me. So..." He heaved out a sigh, "...I killed her."

eek

Lonewolf was shocked by that last sentence. "I...I thought she committed suicide..." He looks down, "....b...because of all the horrible things that had happened to her....I thought she broke up with me so I wouldn't find out that she killed herself..." Mortamus turned around to regard Lonewolf with amusement, "Don't be so naive. My sister would never have killed herself for something like that. She always had a way with dealing with things, no matter how hard." He scoffed, "Only a weakling such as yourself would give up and kill himself like that!" He began laughing loudly. Lonewolf clentches his hands into fists...fists that trembled with rage. "You...will...pay..." Mortamus took a step closer still smiling, "What was that?" Lonewolf stood up and looked up at Mortamus, "I said...you...will...PAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Lonewolf dives at Mortamus and tackles him down to the floor. Lighting strikes, followed by thunder, then rain, as the two duke it out among at the top of the cliff. Lonewolf punches Mortamus in the face, followed by another and another and...Mortamus quickly moves his head to the side and Lonewolf smashes his fist onto the rocky ground, "AAAUUGH!!" Mortamus rolls out from under Lonewolf and summons three skeletons out from the ground. Lonewolf stands up and easily slices each of them in two with his blade, followed by a shot from his pistol aimed directly at Mortamus' head. Mortamus blocks the blast with his cape. "What?!" Dumfounded at the strength of Mortamus' cape, Lonewolf quickly fires another shot...and another...and another...each of them being blocked by Mortamus' cape. After the volley of pistol fire, Lonewolf lowers his gun, "...impossible..." Mortamus then throws off his cape, "Oh, it's VERY possible! I have grown much stronger since we last met! I am no longer this 'scrub' you speak of! Come! FIGHT ME!!!" Lonewolf tosses his pistol aside, "s**t, ya don't have to ask ME twice..." Without hesitation, Lonewolf grips his blade with two hands and dives in with a vertical slash...which is immediately blocked by Mortamus' right index finger... eek "What the hell???" Lonewolf swings the blade around to a wide horizontal arc, which gets blocked by Mortamus' left forearm. Again, Lonewolf swings and swings and swings, but to no avail. Panting and soaked from the rain, Lonewolf steps back. "How...?" Mortamus smiles, "THIS is how!" He swings his right leg up off the ground and boots Lonewolf in the face. Lonewolf falls to the ground, dropping his blade, which slides off of the cliff and down a very large drop indeed...staring at his lost blade, Lonewolf doesn't notice the large boot stepping on his back and pinning him to the ground. "OOF!" Heaves Lonewolf as he gets the air knocked out of him. "How ironic it is..." Muses Mortamus, "...that I have killed your lover...and now I will kill you..." Mortamus pushes harder on Lonewolf's back squeezing the air out of him. Lonewolf's mind races for options. He then summons a lightning barrier, surrounding his body and conducting with the rain, electrifying both of them. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUHHHHHHH!!!!!!" both of them scream in agony. Suddenly, it stops...and Mortamus gets knocked away from Lonewolf. "Impressive move....but I can see that's all you've got left!" Lonewolf tries to push himself to his feet, but he's far too weak to do so. Mortamus stands to his feet and walks over to Lonewolf, and picks him up around the neck again, this time, holding him over the edge of the cliff. "Farewell...'Mr. Hero'..." Lonewolf sputters a few words, "My name...is...Lone...wolf..." He summons up the last of his strength to surround his right index finger with fire. He then sticks his flame-engulfed finger into Mortamus' right eye. "AAAAAAUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGHHH!!!!!!!!" Mortamus lets go of Lonewolf, and Lonewolf drops off the cliff. Falling.......falling........falling.......*....

Soon after that incident, Mortamus created a magical castle on that very cliff. As time went by, Lonewolf had regained his healthe with the help of his friends and of a new member in the guild. A young, stout-hearted young man named Lionheart. Turns out, the boy knew a strong healing spell and used it Lonewolf. Once back to normal, Lonewolf kept himself incognito, and called himself Shadow as to fool Mortamus into thinking that Lonewolf was dead. However, Mortamus had hired a young and beautiful mercenary named Nien to spy on the dragoons as a new member of the guild. After learning about an ancient artifact called the Fire of Tesugious from a quick internet search via from his persacom laptop, Violet, Lonewolf (AKA Shadow) begins asking around and getting as much info on this artifact as possible. It is said that the Fire of Tesugious strips a necromancer's powers completely, with a weapon like that, Lonewolf's Dragoons could surely defeat Mortamus. After a few weeks with the Dragoons, Nien began to realize that Lonewolf and his friends were truly, honorable and caring people and eventually joined forces with Lone and showed him where the real Fire of Tesugious was. Ofcourse, Mortamus had figured something like this might happen and had casted a death curse spell on Nien prior to having her join the guild. He activated the curse, killing Nien instantly.

Finally wielding the Fire of Tesugious, Lonewolf summoned the dragoons and rallied up an army of demons from Hajimate's side to wait amongst the sidelines as cavalry. The draggoons fought long and hard against Mortamus' undead army. Finally, Lonewolf and Hajimate fight their way to the indie of Mortamus' castle. They make their way up the many steps, reaching the very top of the tower.

Mortamus

"Ah, so you've finally arrived!" He opens his eyes and smiles evily. He holds out his right and the sword he had earlier appears in it. "Let us begin, shall we?"

Lonewolf

"We shall indeed." Lonewolf holds out the Fire of Tesugious in front of him. "Fire of Tesugious! Relieve this necromancer of his powers so that victory shall be ours!!!" The amulet sparkles and shoots a red beam at Mortamus.

Mortamus

Takes the blow. He doesn't flinch as the red beam envelopes his body.

Lonewolf

"Now you're dead!!!" Lonewolf puts the amulet in his pocket and fires a purple blast at Mortamus.

Mortamus

"No...you are dead." This voice came from behind Lonewolf and Haj.

Lonewolf

Surprised, Lonewolf turns to see Mortamus standing behind them, "What the...?"

Mortamus

"That was a decoy, you fool." Mortamus charges green energy in both arms and fires them at Haj and Lonewolf, blowing them to the other side of the throne room.

Lonewolf

"NO!" The Fire of Tesugious flies out the window. "s**t..." Lonewolf grits his teeth as he lifts himself to his feet. Haj does the same beside him, "Looks like we'll have to do this the old fashioned way..." Says Haj. Lonewolf nods, "Seems so." They both get into a fighting stance.

Mortamus

He snorts derisively. "Imbeciles." He mumbles as he uncrosses his arms and makes his sword appear in his hand like his decoy did earlier. He stands there, awaiting an attack.

After a very epic battle, it seemed as though Mortamus had the upper hand, until Violet, the innocent persacom laptop scurried into the thrown room with a red rock that resembled the fire of tesugious.

A red flash catches Mortamus' eyes just before he was about to answer Haj. He sees that same little robot that had mistaken him for Lonewolf awhile back holding up a red stone. She keeps nudging Lonewolf and saying: "I have it! I have the Fire of Tesugious, Master! Please wake up!" Mortamus' eyebrows furrowed as he looks closer at what was in the mini robot's hands. "Why...that's nothing more then a red rock!" He bursts out laughing, "Excuse me Hajimate." He walks over to Violet. "What do you have there, little one?" He sees Violet hold the rock in front of her as if it would keep Mortamus at bay. She tries feebly to chant the same words Lonewolf had done to the decoy earlier. This only makes Mortamus laugh louder and more maniacal. "Pathetic little machine!" He picks up Violet and hold her in front of his face, Violet instantly slashes at Mortamus' cheek with her mini katana, "OW!" He drops her on the floor, "Damn you!" He kicks Violet across the room, she flies through the air, smacking into a far wall and landing on the floor, sounding like some circuits had been broken. Lonewolf's body twitches after hearing and seeing this. Mortamus turns back to Hajimate, "As I was saying..." He continues with his offer.

Lonewolf

Violet!! Lonewolf watches helplessly as he sees his persacom laptop fly across the room and smash into a wall. No!!! Damn you Mortamus!!! How could you do that to someone so...so helpless?! Without knowing, Lonewolf's pupils disappeared, revealing completely white eyes. He grits his teeth as he pushes himself up off the ground slowly. Power surges through his body...an unknown power that he never knew he had. "You will pay for all of those you have hurt, Mortamus!" Lonewolf's body hovers above the ground. His body pulses with a dark purple aura. The enchanted blade that was sprawled on the floor flies into Lonewolf's hand.

Mortamus

"What the hell?" Mortamus takes a step back, alarmed at this sight. Then he grits his teeth, "No!" He charges up two large green energy balls in each of his hands, "YOU will pay for taking my sister from me!!!" He shoots both balls at the same time.

Lonewolf

Lonewolf just hovers there as the green balls hit him. Mortamus laughs as he sees this. Suddenly, Lonewolf's voice can be heard from within the smoke, "As I recall, Mortamus...it was you who killed Stephanie." The smoke clears, revealing Lonewolf. He calmly holds out his free hand "Suffer."...suddenly Mortamus flies to the far wall behind him as if he got blasted by some kind of invisible energy.

Mortamus

Lies in the rubble. He stands up slowly and winces at the pain in his mouth. He touches around his jaw and looks at his fingers...blood. In seeing this, Mortamus grits his teeth and lets out a deafening roar.

Lonewolf

Turns his head slightly, regarding the demon form of Hajimate, "You still wish to join him?" He asks with an alarmingly calm voice. Hajimate doesn't answer...too awestricken by the power that pulsed from Lonewolf. Lonewolf ignores this and hovers over to the broken little body of Violet. He lands on the ground and picks her up gently, "So innocent...you, of all others, surely did not deserve this..." He hugs her gently, a small tear rolls down one cheek. He lays her back down on the ground, "I'll fix you up after this. That's a promise." He whispers these words as he stands back up to face Mortamus.

Mortamus

After the long, loud roar, Mortamus looks over at Lonewolf who was now talking to the broken little robot. He snorts at this sight, "Oh, how touching." He says mockingly. "You almost made me...GAGG!"

Lonewolf

"First Stephanie....then Nien....now Violet...I won't let you take away any more of my friends!!!" He charges a purple orb in one hand and launches it at Mortamus.

Mortamus

"Not that attack again." He smiles as he brings up his green sheild again...however, when the orb impacted with his sheild, the power of the impact broke away his sheildcausing Mortamus to kneel down onto one knee just as what happened to Lonewolf when he had blocked one of Mortamus' attacks earlier. "Wh...what?! How can he be so powerful???" His eyes widen at the sight of Lonewolf just hovering there. "N...no!! I won't believe it!!! You're not stronger then me!!!!" Mortamus crosses his arms in front of himself, "Mirror Illusion!!!" Not 2 but 10 Mortamus' appear. "DIE!!!!!!!!" All ten of the Mortamus' come charging at Lonewolf.

Lonewolf

Blasts the first 3, killing them instantly. Blocks 2 attacks and slices 2 more Mortamus' in half. Moves aside from a clumsy vertical slash, grabs his neck and snaps it. After snapping the neck, Lonewolf holds his blade up over his head and down his back, blocking a horizontal slash, swings around and roundhouse kicks that Mortamus in the face, causing him to disappear. After that, cahrges another orb and flings it at two more Mortamus' but before the ball hits them, it stops right in front of them. The two Mortamus', sweating profusely, just stare at the orb, then look up at Lonewolf. Lonewolf smiles, and clentches his fist, causing the orb to explode, blowing away the rest of the mirror army.

Mortamus

The original Mortamus just stares at all that dumbfoundedly. All nine of his mirror selves, vanquished so easily...lucky for him, those "mirror images" of Mortamus are nowhere near as strong as the original. Still...seeing this caused him to quake with fear.

It had seemed as though Lonewolf had the upper hand...until Mortamus created a diversion and took Pana hostage. Grabbing her by the neck and threatening to take her head off if Lone got any closer. Suddenly Erim entered the scene, with the Fire of Tesugious hidden from Mortamus in her pocket. She pretended to betray Lonewolf and challenged him to a fight. Mortamus seemed amused and alowed it. During the staged battle, Erim slipped the Fire of Tesugious into Lonewolf's pocket and casts a strong binding spell on Mortamus, catching him off gaurd completely and allowing Pana to escape from his clutches:

Mortamus

"What's this?!" Pana slips out from his hands. Mortamus roars with anger and frustaration. He breaks out of Erim's spell with ease and charges at her...not noticing a faint red flicker from the corner of his eye.

Lonewolf

There, his powers are gone! Now...for the finishing blow! Before Mortamus reaches Erim, Lonewolf instantly appears in front of Erim and thrusts his blade into Mortamus' stomach.

Mortamus

Coughs up blood as he slowly walks back, step by step. "H...How did I not see that...? How could I die so easily...?"

Lonewolf

Pulls the fire of tesugious out of his pocket and tosses it over at Mortamus. "That's how."

Mortamus

Stunned at the sight of the amulet, Mortamus falls down to his knees. He whimpers at first...then it turns into a loud echoing roar...then into a manical laughter. "I'll...I'll kill all of you...yes! I know how!!!" His eyes are widened with death and insanity. Mortamus uses a simple telekinetic spell to lift one of the arms on his throne, revealing a switch. He uses the rest of his remaining ability to pull the switch with his spell. After that, he flops down onto the floor...dead.

The switch triggers a self-destruct mechanism within the castle, but the dragoons escape with ease. Once again, good triumphs over evil.

Lonewolf's Legacy: The Suicidal Son of the Necromancer Chapter

Weeks after the tyranny of the necromancer lord, Mortamus, it seemed peace had once again been restored in the land. Violet had been repaired and Lonewolf had just realized that his enchanted sword, Fenrir, was missing and found out that it must've been at the bottom of the ruins of Mortamus' castle. Annoyed by this, Lonewolf searched the castle's ruins for his blade, but still couldn't find it. Iris, Erim's evil twin sister, had stolen the blade and was going to use it to trade for the Philospher's Stone that was in the possesion of a strange young man who lived in the sewers of Cliffside Village. After traded Lonewolf's sword for the stone, Iris realized that she was deceived, for she was given a fake stone. However, before she could make it back to Rakku's hideout, she was already too late. He had already fused with the stone. Back at the guild, Lonewolf awakens from a vision he had in a dream of a man who resembled Mortamus standing atop the water tower in Cliffside Village it had been a warning from his dead lover, Stephanie. Unnerved by this dream, Lonewolf summons Erim by his side and they both make plans to investigate the village...

An hour later

Lonewolf arrives at the water tower with Erim standing nearby. They look around. "I could've sworn I felt a strange power around here..." LOnewolf looks about then looks up at the tower and his eyebrows furrowed at the sight. "There he is." He says with a serious tone.

Rakku

"Well if it isn't the famed 'Lonewolf'...or should I say 'Mr. Hero'?"

Lonewolf

Lonewolf frowns, "It's Lonewolf."

Rakku

"Whatever."

Lonewolf

"Why are you here and what do you want?"

Rakku

He smiles, "Straight to the point, I see. No formalities? Haha, a true leader indeed!" He chuckles a bit, "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Rakku Gaudemus. That's right...Mortamus' son!"

Lonewolf

Lonewolf doesn't get surprised, "So I see. The resemblance is uncanny. So what are you going to do? Get 'revenge' on me?"

Rakku

He smiles again, "No." He bows courtly, "I wanted to thank you. He has been a thorn in my side ever since my teenage years."

Lonewolf

Lifts an eyebrow, "Thank me? What are you doing here and what do you want? Answer me."

Rakku

"Not one to 'beat around the bush' I see. Fine fine, if you're so curious I'll tell you. Unlike my father I want world ERADICATION. Yes, you heard right. I'm sick of this world...I want everything to be destroyed...including myself..." He smiles.

Lonewolf

"Y...you're crazy..."

Rakku

"Indeed."

Lonewolf

"Then you will be stopped!" Lonewolf unsheathes the minature sawed off shotgun from the sheathe in his back and points it at Rakku.

Rakku

"You can try...but I won't garantee anything..."

After a short battle, Lonewolf and Erim easily dispose of their foe. However, Iris intervenes and takes Lonewolf's blade from Rakku and tosses, both, Rakku and the blade to the side in disgust. She chooses to not waste her time with him and begins walking away.

As Iris slowly begins walking past Lonewolf and Erim, Rakku pushes himself to his feet, "Oh...I'll be more than just a 'concern'!" He holds his right forearm in front of him. The gold gauntlet begins to glow...

He smiles as he holds his right hand out to them, "This is but a taste of my power."

A huge purple blast blows all three of them away. "Fools. Did you really think that you could all beat me?" Rakku turns around and flies straight for the ruined Mortamus Castle. "Now to claim what should have been mine to begin with!" He disappears into the night.

After recovering from the blast, they return to the guild to regroup. Erim informs Lonewolf that he may be related to an ancient bloodline of the "Legendary Warriors" of old, since he tapped into an unknown power when he fought against Mortamus. Meanwhile, they find an ancient book in the Decaying Ruins located in the forest. The Black Book of Prontera. It was a book that talked about the warriors of old, ancient magic. She finds a page of a goddess who was reincarnated into a gaurdian spirit. She shows the picture to Lonewolf, and Lone gets completely stunned. For the Goddess resembled Stephanie Gaudemus. After more research, Lonewolf later learns that Stephanie was his gaurdian spirit, so he finds a way to enter the astral plane and fuse his spirit with hers, only then will he be powerful enough to take on Rakku. Later in the guild, Lonewolf rallies up the dragoons to prepare for Rakku's attack. However, one of the gaurds and newer members of the guild, a young and brave female healing shapeshifter named Shadowkite, finds herself having a bad day...

Outside

The wind kicks up as the night breeze brushes against Shadowkite's feathers. A small hum is heard from behind her. The falcon turns it's gaze to see...

Rakku stood there and smiled as the small energy ball builded up in his fist, "Boom." He whispers as the energy ball slams into the frail bird body of Shadowkite's. She tumbles to the floor as Rakku walks towards the guild entrance.

As the other Dragoons (Pana, Lion, Star Bandit) come to her rescue, their power prove to be too weak for Rakku. However, once Lonewolf arrives to the scene, the odds seem to be a bit more one sided, until...

Hurry, Erim. Lonewolf clentches his fist, Don't know how much longer I can pull this off...

Rakku

"RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAGGGHHH!!!!!!"

Completely infuriated by all the taunts and the fact that he was weaker then Lonewolf, Rakku completely loses it. "NOOOOOO!!!!! YOU WILL DIIEEEEEE!!!!!!!"

Rakku charges a purple blast in one fist...however...instead of him shooting it at Lonewolf, He holds up his fist in the air...opens his palm...then says: "NOW....CHOOSE WHICH OF YOUR FRIENDS YOU CARE MOST ABOUT!!!!" He blasts multi-purple energy blasts that all go to each guild member individually.

Lonewolf

"You b*****d!" Lonewolf's mind raced....who...? who do I save??? Then Lonewolf remembered something. Yes! That's it! He crosses his arms in front of himself, "Here's a neat little trick I learned from your father....MIRROR ILLUSION!" Five Lonewolf's appear beside each other, each of them race forward to each ally and they all use the same spell: "Sheild of Immunity!!" The purple blasts were all deflected...however...when using the Mirror Illusion spell, not only does it make several copies of himself, but it also splits his power to each copy. A fatal mistake that Mortamus had done. When each Lonewolf deflected the purple blast, they were all blown away, leaving only one weakened Lonewolf.

Rakku

"HuhwahahahahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Rakku holds out his hand.

"Now....you die!!!"

Saved by a hasten spell from Pana, Lonewolf dodges the attack. However, Rakku had had another trick up his sleeve. Days before this battle, he had implanted an exploding device in Erim's arm when he had her prisoner.

Rakku takes a few steps forward, his eyes on Erim. He pulls out a small remote control. "Now....DIE!!!" He presses the button. Erim's metalic arm begins to beep, slow at first, then fast and loud.

Lonewolf

Managing to stand to his feet after the healing spells from both Pana and Shadowkite, Lonewolf speaks to Stephanie within his mind, Steph...if there's any other new tricks you've bestowed upon me...please, now would be a good time. He hears Stephanie's voice in response. "...." After hearing what she had to say, Lonewolf nods and holds out his right palm. He closes his eyes. The small remote in Rakku's hand begins to wiggle a bit.

Rakku

Looks down at his hand, "What's this...?"

Lonewolf

The remote flies into Lonewolf's hand. Followed by him crushing it. "I will have no more of your cheap tricks, Rakku!"

Rakku

"Telekinesis??? Well...you never cease to surprise me, Lonewolf. In any case, I didn't really need that remote to get rid of you." He smiles as he charges at Lonewolf in alarming speed.

Lonewolf

Remembers what Erim said about him being smarter and quick. Lonewolf returns Rakku's smile as he waits for the attack.

Rakku

Lunges forward with a right hook.

Lonewolf

Ducks at the last moment as he summons purple energy around his right hand. He grabs on the metallic rune plate on Rakku's chest and pulls it out with all his might.

Rakku

"NO!!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE???!!!" Rakku flies back a bit as he looks at his arms. The gauntlets begin to merge within his skin, along with all the other runes. Then the two halves of the Philosopher's stone emerges out from Rakku's mouth. "*gagg* N...NO!!!!" He falls down to his knees. The Halves of the Philosopher's stone roll to Lonewolf's feet. Rakku tries to scramble and pick them up, but is too late as Lonewolf blasts them to bits with a single energy attack. " exclaim "

Knowing that his plans for world eradication had been ruined....Rakku surprises everyone by delivering the coup de grace upon himself. He pulls out a small dagger and slits his own throat. Falling to the ground as the blood seeps from his neck, he looks up into the sky with teary eyes.

"Mother.....we will finally be together again...." Rakku closes his eyes, smiling and dies.
