i.... cant..... read....... chinese characters.......

1) It's Japanese dear.

2) We can't read them because of the new update computer systems!

3) If you check out my explaination of Japanese Honorifics (both posts) on the other Japanese thread that'll start learners off with some basic stuff (I'll be adding insults at a later date lol!)

This site does translations, VERY professional and correct translations (I tested it on my friend Keiko from Japan.) and they're all for free. They may be a little off though... but simple phrases are always right. :3 The following is done from using the translator. xD

私は多少の日本語を話すことができます。このテキストはオンラインの翻訳者からです。私は複雑なフレーズのための十分な日本語を話しません。[I can speak a little Japanese. This text is from the translator of online. I do not speak sufficient Japanese for a complicated phrase.]

You need certain programs and such to type Japanese characters. But if you Google "Japanese Hiragana" then you should get a chart of their Phoentic Alphabet. =D

I know I must have made at least two spelling mistakes redface , but you'll have to excuse me, because I have language CDs, which unfortunatly don't tell you how spell the words they teach you. sweatdrop
