In the depths of the forests, not too far from the Kawani village, Daisy examined the area. She was not too familiar with much of the land. So, she decided it was a good day to get acquainted with the forest to see if there was anything of interest to her. Except, she has been wondering aimlessly which has caused her to forget the direction she had came from.

”Now then, did I come from the east…or south? Daisy muttered to herself. She should have known better to have marked her path someway, but it must have slipped her mind. She sniffed the ground for any familiar scents or to find any hoof prints. ”Ah! These must be mine!” She said as she examined the newly found hoof prints and followed them. Hopefully they would lead her back to the village. A few moments later, she was back where she started. She glanced up at the trees and then back to the ground. ”Oh dear, I’ve been traveling in circles. I feel so stupid right now,” She sighed. She decided to go to the south, instead of to the east since the hoof prints went towards that direction.

As she maneuvered around the roots of trees and other obstacles, the path seemed to become a little more familiar to her. She stumbled upon the same stream that she had tried to jump over earlier, but she ended up coming too short of the other side. Which, in fact, caused her legs to be covered in mud. She looked at her legs that were encrusted in dried up mud, and sighed. She realized that she’s better off just wading into the stream and walking through. Stepping into the cool water, she shivered for a moment, but then continued through the stream. She walked out of the water and shook off the dripping water from her legs. ”Darn, the mud just won’t come off,” she muttered as she tried rubbing the mud from her legs.

The pony's idle chatter hadn't gone unnoticed and although the stallion remained otherwise silent as he observed the poor creature from his vantage point, he couldn't help but flash a small smile of amusement. Her navigation left much to be desired and her insistance on walking around in circles was interesting to say the least.

Regardless, she did eventually come to a halt and after a few moments the stallion shifted his wait and allowed his ears to swivel towards the young mare. She was suitably smaller than all those he had met but from the looks of it...just as lively. It was that, that compelled him to remain where he was as lively females often gave him a headache with their persistant inability to communicate on a mature level.

Nevertheless, if he had desired to remain unnoticed it seemed the spirits would not grant him that pleasure and oh so subtly, the cool breeze flew passed him, caressing his fine features and causing the golden ornaments upon his hair to emanate with a soft, musical chime that carried across the winds.

Chime!

Daisy paused from trying to rub the horrid mud off her legs when she heard a soft chiming noise. She slowly lifted her head and looked towards her right, then to her left. Her ears swiveled around back and forth to try to depict where this sound has come from. ”Hm, it appears I’m not alone, she thought to herself as she examined the area around her.

”You might as well come out, who ever you are. Whatever ornaments or trinkets you have gave yourself away. There is no need to hide.” She thought there was no need to yell. She knew that this anonymous creature was close by. She had only raised her voice a touch above how loud she normally spoke, Which was not very loud at all. She lowered her head to the stream to take a drink. As she sipped the crisp water, she still watched and listened intently.

"I was unaware that I was hiding, but I apologise if I came across as doing so..." The stallion replied from his vantage point which turned out to be a rather large boulder within the centre of the forest. In fact, it was so big that one might have said that it was a mini slope and he happened to be at the top of it, gazing down upon the pony below.

His eyebrow was raised (as per usual) and his ears were perked with a hint of idle amusement and unspoken curiosity as to what in the world she was doing but otherwise, he was completely unreadable. Nevertheless, the fact that he had been detected made him less inclined to hold his stance and he was perfectly content to shift his head, once again allowing the chime of his ornaments to ring out in the now still air.

"Perhaps next time I will negotiate a truce with the spirits of the wind to remain silent if I am in 'hiding' as you claimed me to be." He released a small 'huff' of air form his nose and finally lowered his brow - well, he might as well come across as semi-approachable if this was going to work.

"It would appear you are lost." He stated bluntly after a rather long pause.

” For I didn’t see you, I automatically assumed you were hiding, good sir. It must have been rude of me to say accuse you of such a thing since you were probably off on your own accord, and I just heard the sound of your hair ornaments." Daisy replied as she turned to look at the stallion. She was fascinated to see a stallion in clothes and such a unique hairstyle. It was quite a strange sight for her.

”Indeed, I am lost. I have a terrible sense of direction and it appears that I went much further than I intended from the village,” she nodded and sighed. ”You wouldn’t happen to know what direction the village is, good sir?” She asked him in hope that he too is from the village, or lived around it. She decided it was not a good idea to forget her manners because she is asking him for help, and she wouldn’t want to anger him. If she has already, he might point her in the direction of the burial ground that the kalonas frequented. Now, that wouldn’t be very fun if that were the case.

Luckily, her polite mannerisms had caused him to take a slight liking to her and after a few moments of consideration he backed up from his position on the rather titanic boulder and unceremoniously leapt off in a stream of velvet and silk. Even has he landed, squarely he might add, his hair ornaments gave yet another chime but in such a controlled manner that it really was a if he had briefly asked the spirits to control them.

"It was somewhat unappreciated." He replied in relation to her comments but a slight smile did appear on his lips as he gazed down on the pony who was considerably smaller than him. Granted he was a rather daunting figure, standing at close to eighteen hands he couldn't help it but he had never seen a pony before - they were terribly dainty in his eyes.

"But the fact that you admit that it might have been rude in hindsight indicates that it was unintentional, for that I accept your unspoken apology." He continued, shifting his weight so that his right hindleg remained relaxed. It was much more comfortable to only lean on one leg at a time, had he been facing off a verbal challenge or been in preparation for an insult then he would have stood properly, alas he wasn't though...he was actually in a rather comfortable encounter.

Contrary to belief though, the peculiar stallion was not from the village but after a few moments in which he gained a rough idea of where the village was in relation to this point in the forest he gave a slight nod and yet another chime of the ornaments. Fortunately for the pony, he may not have come from the village but his directions were second to none.

"The village is south west of here." He flicked his gaze towards the gigantic boulder he had been stood upon and released a slight 'huff' of warm air from his nostrils, "Perhaps if you were to gaze at the mosses you would have been able to find hte right direction but, mayhaps you would prefer a guide instead?"
