Lots of people when doing the number thing say "pick a number from 1 to 10", and since 5 is exactly between 1 and 10, it's perfect!

17 is the best number because you can go up t someone and say "17" and tell hem to say 16, then you say 15 ect...
Then when the other person says 0 you tell tehm they lose. blaugh

Also works with 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 15, 19 etc.
