I own an Epiphone G-400 SG and i want to install a Floyd Rose locking Tremelo System in it....is that possible if so how much would it cost...would it just be cheaper just to buy a guitar with a floyd rose?

Moved to gear.

Well, the guitar would have to be completely re-routed to be able to fit the system. Personally, I think you would be better off buying one of the Ibanez RG series with the licensed Floyd Rose systems. 3nodding

the only problem with that idea is you would have to make sure the height of the floyd rose matches the height of your current TOM bridge, or else you will have some major issues.

You'd need access to a router, the proper skills involved with using said router, as well as accurate templates for the FR rout. Then of course you have to pay for the FR system itself.

The cheapest is the Ibanez GRG-270B. It coses £185 (not sure in $). It has 24 frets, HSH pickup combination. However, if you wanted to flash out a little, you could look into the Jackson DK-2. I have played it, and I have to say that it is a fantastic guitar, and that can play all styles with incredible profiency. The Jackson costs £329.
