You know when people say that fariy rings are where fariy danced the night before. Well I think its true. Because I went walking in the woods and I came across a clearing filled with light from the sun and right in the middle there was a ring of mushrooms. I stepped inside and the wind picked up in the woods. When there was not even a little wind before. And I felt so relaxed and I sat down and the energy was so great and I opened my eyes and little things just flickerd and dissapeard. Do you think those are fariys. But it was so cool and peacful. The woods are full with magic every where.

ohhhweee..lol. I can't say I know what they were, But be careful in Faery rings. I posted in wolfsbanemoon about faeries and one of the things I mentioned were faery rings. Because I'm not an expert, I think you should get a second opinion on this.lol. Faery rings are natural rings in a forest or the like. Mushrooms count. lol. I've heard if you enter the ring, the fae will play their music. This in turn will capture you, let's say, supposedly keeping you there for seven years. Again, I'm no expert and I certainly do no have any dealings with the fae, But I have read some parts and paragraphs and essay type things on them. Ya.......that's my input........but then again, it's just me..lol
Seeing as though I've kinda strayed from the point.........Umm, I don't think they were faeries....could have been or it could have been something else....Are sprites small?.....

It's very possible they were the fey. Did you hear any music? That could be a good indicator. I'd say it was the forest spirits, though the ring kinda stumps me, as I don't know how stepping in it would have made them react like that. Perhaps you touched on their realm... One way or another, it's intreauging.

Faerie rings were mentioned in a book I read over the summer. It was a fictional book, but it seemed like the author had all the facts straight. Anyway, in the story, the faerie ring was like a trap and the girl got stuck in it. I would say to just be careful with those.

I agree with Kayne: be very careful with Faerie Circles. There's evidence of people being kept in a time loop in them, and potential nasty stuff happening.
However, once they've 'cleared off', they make an excellent place for circles. sweatdrop

I don't think that was a preferred name.....lol. Maybe that's why?
who knows.lol. Wierd thing today, my friends and I went wlking through the forest near our school ( it's called the grove, it's a circle forest is all.lol) We had a spare, and Chels ( my best friend) and I had that feeling where you're sure you need to go somewhere, you just don't know where and for what reason. Anywho, we got our other friend and started to walk through the grove. we walked for a good hour and ended up far into it. we found this foundation ( form a hous) near the a pebble road. It hadn't beend used for a while, like I mean a long time, there was a tree growing in it. ( there wasn't a whole house, It was just cement floor...) we walked a bit further and found more of the house, It was really weird ( like I said in the sign in, we're going back on thursday to get some photos). This was all in a clearing, so we walked back into the woods. On the left, there were small cedars, there were all dead and pointing one way. ( I have to explain everything else quickly cause I need to go...>.<) We walked to the centre and it was full of rasberries, nothing else. I felt like I was being watched, and wasn't wanted. Something wanted us out and was showing it. There were thorns everywhere, but a path had been made, like someone had just walked there and was showing us kindly how to leave. we left this enclosed square and found ourselves almost as if we were ina different forest, It was completely different. There was even an old rusty lawn mower ( not an electric one, I'll get a picture of it and show you guys later) anyways, whatever was there was still pushing ( so to speak) for us to leave. I looked around and noticed that the whole area was enclosed by thick, dead cedars. There was the path that had been made, and it was leading out of the cedar circle and to civilization. My friend ( who's also a wiccan) both knew that this was our invitation to leave ( we kinda got the hint earlier by all the thorns and trees blocking our way..)
The whole time we were there, I though of the fay. I did somethign I warned not to do, uncosciously going into a private place. Thursday we're going to go back and leave some sugar milk......( and hopefully get some pictures...but if there is still some refusal and unwantedn-ness, we're gonna leave....)
So to sum it up, I guess if you stumble on the fay, they will be tolerant, though, to a certain degree........ We're going once more, then leaving it be....
wow, that was vague....

Fae (Fey) and Fairies are very different. Fae can be mischieves (spelling?) and just be a general nuances. Fairies are usually kind and playful. If it was a fairy ring, you should be ok, you might even have some lovely dreams. Watch out for Fae they might steal you away, In ancient times Fae used to steal human babies, because they don't have too many babies of their own. So always be careful of the Fae.

Aurellion Kayne Aiya Thursday we're going to go back and leave some sugar milk......( and hopefully get some pictures...but if there is still some refusal and unwantedn-ness, we're gonna leave....) Any luck on this? I'm interested.. 3nodding I was looking through the posts.lol.......really late but.. Nope, nothing happened. And actually in saying this, we had a couple other friends who are able to pick up on things no one could see. Rob and I mind-saw a woman in a white dress... i saw a young women, he saw an older woman, but it was the same women. Anywho, He said she was carrying a basket somewhere, but went away at the fence that seperates us from this new house. We didn't tell anyone else that was there, but a friend said he could see a woman, heh, in a white dress.... anyway, we didn't go back for a long time. When we did, I took a shortcut in while the others went the long way to the old garden-path. I thought they were going the long way, but in actuality, they had followed me. But anyways, a person ran past the old foundation and you guessed it, they were in white.but all my friends were in the path I took, or right beside me. I've gon back plenty of times now, I still want to know what it was, but, everything is white now because of all the stupid snow.. anywho, back to my original point, turns out it didn't really have anything to do with what we thought, but alot to do with something else. There's alot more points to the going ons of that part of the Grove, but seeing as though I've already rambled in the wrong post about this, i wont go into more detail.........It really is interesting, though, almost to the point where I'm obsessed with it. During spare I almost always dragged my friends out there again... oops, I got off track again......sorry...
